You can tell that Vanya loves Five and Five loves Vanya. For example when Five went missing Vanya left him his favourite food everyday and kept the lights on in hopes he comes back and when five comes back Vanya was the first one he talked to. Five forgives Vanya even after destroying the world. Their love for each other is extraordinary.

Excellent editing!👏 I wish that the show had explored more of Five and Vanya's relationship, since it's hinted that they were best friends as kids, before Five's disappearance. Then again, Five was so busy frantically trying to avert the apocalypse, that being around Vanya might have thrown a wench in Leonard/Harold's plans.
She's the only sibling to try to tell him not to time travel while he's arguing with Reginald, subtly shaking her head. Vanya is the first name he calls out for in the apocalypse, and Five is the only sibling to actually praise Vanya on her book. Finally, when Vanya embraces her White Violin villain persona and blows up her siblings' bedrooms, Five is the only one who is noticeably absent.

Five : saw his family die in front of him 3 times, spent half of his concious mind alone without a single sign of humanity, became an assisin just to go back to his family, but everyone else was a dick towards him because they can't see the amount of effort he puts in just to get the family back.
Vanya: most neglected in the family, everyone thinks she's a burden, but when they found out she has powers they locked her up. Played by her boyfriend. Her whole life was a lie and everyone played her to benefit them.
Ben: died young. Dono backstory but sad
Klaus: also neglected. Whole fam doesn't trust him or thinks he's crazy because of his drug addict. Everyone thinks his powers are useless. Have very low self esteem so he's most of the time reluctant to make use of his powers. Has ben by his side as his emotional support.
Luther: was in the moon for several years. Thinks he suffered the most but i can't blame him. Has daddy issues. Pressured for being number one.
Allison: divorced. Lost custody of her daughter. Just wants to see her daughter. Wants to love her dad but daddy doesn't care.
Diego: broke up with police girlfriend, police girlfriend died. Hates dad but loves mom so much that he had to kill her cuz she's a robot and has no true emotions. Idk much 👉👈🥺
Luther was in the moon for 4 years, I believe
They all suffered but I don’t think Luther had it worse. He may have been up ok the moon but he knew he could get back five was stuck for over 40+ years and had no idea if he’s ever get back. Also luther’s “pReSsUrE” growing u isn’t comparable to the neglect and pain many of the others faced. Take Diego and Allison, they both “lost” people they truly loved and losing custody may not be the same as actually losing a loved one but it probably feels like it seeing as Allison is rarely with Claire. Vanya must have so much pain from her childhood ( we all know about her childhood I’d just be repeating things If I went in detail here) alone and same goes for klaus. He was basically cursed with a “gift” of seeing the dead and was locked in (I think some sort of morgue/graveyard are) a room for hours on end in his childhood just to hear the pain and suffering of these ghosts. Finally Ben, he sacrificed himself, probably for the second time too to save his family ( the first time he died he probably did knowing it would help his family , the same way he did near the end of season 2)
I guess it might just be me but I really don’t think Luther has gone through WORSE than the things I listed above. I don’t really like his character that much, mainly because he’s always beating himself up/ blaming himself and just moping around feeling sorry for himself and it really sucks because he could be so powerful and strong but instead they made him the “big sensitive one” . He also had basically nothing to add to the storyline in season 2. As well as this the actor can’t do an American accent and it pisses me off. It’s so clear that he’s british and it’s probably because I’m british but it ruins it for me. Lastly, the whole incest love subplotline is just a yikes and it’s also 50% of his character. In general it was quite disappointing and I hope his character gets more depth/ more scenes in season 3. They really should improve his character next season.

The problem with Allison is that she never learned to do things alone, nobody taught her how to deal with people, so she just used her powers. She didn't want to deal with her daughter being annoying, so she just used her powers on her own daughter, because that's what she was taught. We can see that she has already used her powers to play characters and get someone to love her.
honestly I ship their platonic/bro-sis relationship so hard (they're my favorite sibling duo alongside klaus + ben) but I could never see them as a couple

He call Vanya first when he travel, because he trust her before anyone. Also, she was the first person he told about what happened when he travel. Is like the both trust and care about each other however they don't show it too much.
I'd be interested in seeing more of Adult Vanya x Adult Five explored, when they were both young they hinted at something romantic. But even now, they have such a strong relationship and immense respect for each other, whether its a strictly platonic thing or maybe romantic when they are both adults, I can't wait to see how their relationship unfolds. Love this edited, great job!

Vanya was the only one who remembered and did not lose hope since Five got lost. You can also sense that Five really trust Vanya since they were a child, Vanya was the first one Five called for when he got stuck in the future.

I like that although he's quite blunt and aggressive, in S2 he choose to withhold the most important and harsh reality - that she caused the apocalypse - from her when she lost her memories cause he cares about her and her feelings. Also, when they were fighting and threatening each other you know they would never really get into an all out fight. I like their relationship the best on par with Klaus and Ben ❤️

Vanya five ben and allison are the most powerful.
I'd argue ben is incomparable in this list. Vanya and Five are reality destroying level entities, and Allison in turn is herself one because she can control anyone including the former two. Ben however while he possess immense immediate physical strength he doesn't have anything reality ending just chaotic. I'd argue he could fuck up a city real good, but so could Klaus with an army of the undead, both respectfully very powerful but still not on the same playing field as the reality bombs that are Five, Vanya, and Allison.

Five was the only one who ready Vanya book and Vanya left his favorite snack when he was gone and no one else read Vanya book and left snacks for five and in season 2 they have a argument but five didn’t care if Vanya didn’t show up she was the only one he didn’t get mad at and even when that happened later on five still goes with Vanya to sissy house. This is called a good family relationship!

Sometimes i feel that five only came back to save his family. He loves them and is soft but can be strict. He is only strict to them because he is worried that he will lose them again. It's so adorable..
I love that they care fr each other.
They have a massive couple/ friendship dynamic potential but for some reason the show avoids making them work on it at all. It's unnerving.
We were shown the glimpses from their past indicating a strong bond and then, after episode 3 (season 1!) the characters barely interact. The creators set up a massive pit of unresolved tension and just walked around it, filling us on lengthy and predictable Vanya- Leonard subplot which involved mostly Allison. If Five and Vanya really used to be so close, then after he came back, they should've talked more!
Guys, just imagine them rebuilding their trust, and figuring it out together. Five could've been openly disapproving of Leonard. Vanya could've yelled at him for not having been there for her. It would be angsty AF but it would rise the stakes and change them both in a good way. They'd grow together and navigate each other on a basis of love, not obligation.
Not to mention season 2 had literally one scene of them addressing their respective issues ("do not test me right now") and it was resolved (?) in a deeply dissatisfying way.
If I hadn't rewatched the first season, I would've totally forgotten Five and Vanya were supposedly each other's besties as kids. Five's relationships with Luther and Diego seem much more organic right now, especially where the Commission stepped in (which, to me, is the best part on the show). I feel like Vanya barely has any meaningful conversations with her family at all and she completely lost my interest somewhere along the way.
Sorry for the rant, I've just finished watching S2 and I'm stuck reading "What if" fanfictions where the whole family actually builds relationships.
SIDENOTE: I don't think Vanya had it worst. I think Klaus did.
For me i think its Vanya, Klaus, Ben and Five that went through the most.
Vanya: she got mistreated a lot and not knowing she got powers and knowing that her ex doesnt love her, the siblings doesnt know she just wants to help, doesnt know how to use her powers which make her almost killing Allison, got locked up becuz they think she is dangerous, killed Pogo and Grace (mom)
Klaus: he was so scared of dealing with the dead and he needs to stay for 3 more hours, his high, no one really cares about him (well except for Diego, Five, Ben and Allison in s1 and s2 but im pretty sure we get more character development in s3) , no one notice him missing when he got kidnap (but the end Diego, Luther and Five knows), no one notice him when he was missing when he traveled to the past, he came back all hurt and upset becuz he lost Dave (but atleast Five ask if his okay esspecially Diego in the bar)
Ben: Died young, was scared going to the light, couldnt comunicate with his family for many years (except for Klaus), no one knows that he is there feeling like he doesnt exist (but atleast he get to comunicate with Diego and the last thing he did is hugging one of his family members Vanya)
Five: Jump too far to the future which leads him to the apocalypes, seeing nothing but dust, smoke, fire, crush buildings, knowing his family is not around, seeing his family everytime not moving cuz there dead, cant go back to his family (imagine not bringing ur homework to school thats the feeling) eating rouches and twinkies that is not good, joining the comission just becuz he needs food also figuring out how to stop the Apocalypse, killing innocent people to protect himself and his family, sacrifise everything for his family, never gotten a rest (except the part where he was drunk and slept) and just wants to bring his family back home safe and sound no danger and no apocalypse nothing (but since the siblings is pretty stubborn especially Vanya they didnt get a chance) which also messed up the time line of them meeting Reggie.
So out of all this for me its Ben and Five that went through the most.
Maybe because they assumed that viewers will find it creepy, considering the age gape
Vanya and 5 are really good characters and they have a good relationship but I can’t see them as a couple. And they are siblings too -.- (I also say the same thing for Allison and Luther)
I dont care if season 2 will erase them, I will always ship them

In the original comics it was Diego and Vanya though if I'm not mistaken, but I don't hate this version. It's just a really noticeable change.
Another thing that they changed was Diego's relationship with their mother, because in the comics, he was the one who really hated her.

Number 1 - Was sent to the moon and turned into an ape. He suffered believing that his father was a good man who loved each and every one of his adopted children.
Number 2 - Hated his father and suffered watching his girlfriend die and never forgave himself for that. Fell in love with Lila, the daughter of the Handler, and suffered his consequences loving her.
Number 3 - Never could see her child anymore because of using her powers, she is divorced, and she's a famous celebrity. Doesn't use her powers anymore for the risk of other's lives.
Number 4 - Suffered his father's cruel actions for many years as a child and watched his boyfriend die in war. Never forgot his boyfriend's death and wanted to warn his boyfriend (in the past) about the dangers of war and that he would fall in love with him, but he didn't believe him.
Number 5 - Smartest out of all of them, he knew his father wasn't a very good man and accidentally got himself stuck through time. Watching how his siblings died, he was slowly losing his sanity until he returned back.
Number 6 - Didn't want to use his powers as a child because he was afraid of risking other's lives. Died in a mission and watched Klaus grow up and live his life, while he remained as a ghost.
Number 7 - Mistreated and manipulated into thinking she didn't have powers like the others. Soon regrets using her powers when she realizes she destroys an entire world with her powers. Falls in love with someone and loses her when she has to leave the past and return back to her time.
