Y'all this side of Five just makes me think Five feels guilty about Ben's death. He's already sacrificed so much to save his family, he wouldn't think twice about saving Ben! In Season 2, EP. 5, remember when Five asked Klaus if Ben was with them after time traveling to 60's Dallas?? I feel like he carries that weight of Ben being dead and feels regret. Because of the ability of his power, he believes he could have saved Ben if he didn't time travel and had lived out his teenage years with his family. I love this show because it's so complex and dynamic in many ways!

They're selfish and ungrateful for everything Five does to keep them alive. An apocalyptic event where they all die is what he's working to stop and they treat it as some abstract event that can be picked-up and dropped. It isn't "real" to them, despite them nearly causing it twice and both times he bails them out to save their lives and they're just ungrateful AF.

He’s so hard headed it’s so easy to forget he’s been through a lot. He literally does everything for his family. He truly cares about the outcome for them. 😭❤️

Damn his face at 2:47 has so much more emotion in it than I saw the first time I watched it. I figured the first time through that he just didn't want to fight her and that's why he walked away. But like look at his face. It's nothing but sad and desperate not angry. He probably knows he could beat Vanya's ass right now and drag her to the box but he doesn't want to hurt his sister. He doesn't want to hurt her so much that he risks getting stuck in the 1950's over it. I mean no one else showed up either so it would have been a bad call anyway but in the moment he just let's her go.
I also like to think he's a little scared of her considering she caused the number one source of so much of his trauma. That's not to say he doesn't still favor her, though. He doesn't back down in that scene, true, but that expression could be a mix of pain _and_ fear. I don't know, that's just a fun little dimension I like to add to his character personally ✨

There is no doubt that Five was about to kill her. But he's making an effort to trust Diego's judgment. That's hugeeeee. Because Five is usually right and he was right about Lila's intentions. He is learning to give them not only his love but also his respect

Truthfully because of the nature of what they are we don't know how many of them are actually related to each other and as a race they are pretty precious and rare. The other siblings just walks away and go back to the life they have created for themselves. Vanya back to her apartment playing violin or back to her partner. Diego with patch or his life as a "lower batman" haha. Luther being a bodyguard of some sort. Allison with her daughter/husband. Klaus back to his adventures with Ben. It's so easy for them to give up because they have somewhere to go. They have found another purpose. Five on the other hand got lost at a very yound age. He wasn't able to build something for himself. He only had the manequin and his family. When they all just want to give up, five had nowhere to go but to his family so he always try to save them. I love Five so much hahahuhu

That guy is seriously on the verge of a complete and total mental breakdown from having to watch his family die 3 times. That’s the scene that really proves it; it’s one of the very few times that he speaks with such a fragile and breaking voice. He’ll be even more paranoid in s4 because now he doesn’t have powers to protect them with.

Then he came back reminding his family that there will be an apocalypse and he wants to stop it because he wants to survive with his family, actually he really wants to stop the apocalypse because he also cares about the people. Next few days, he times travels with his family but separated. His siblings spent years in the 1960s. While he is trying to find his family reminding them AGAIN that they need to stop another apocalypse. While his siblings are having their own life now. And look at them (siblings except five) disagreeing to Five about helping him stop the apocalypse again . YALL, Five is trying his best to survive with you guys and he spent so many years alone. He even killed so many people to go back with his family 😭😭
Exactly. There should’ve been a moment of grief for Five after Allison learned Claire didn't exist in s3, where he realized he wouldn’t meet her after all. The writers apparently forgot that he wanted to meet her. But after that finale the two of them might just get to finally meet in s4.

That guy is seriously on the verge of a complete and total mental breakdown from having to watch his family die 3 times. That’s the scene that really proves it; it’s one of the very few times that he speaks with such a fragile and breaking voice. He’ll be even more paranoid in s4 because now he doesn’t have powers to protect them with.

@@matuk3200 I think the keyword is "sis". "You owe me one" was just a joke or just him teasing. But him calling her sis sounded so soft it felt like Five was calling Vanya her baby sis. Like when Klaus playfully called her Vanny. I find it sweet that they baby her and appreciates her more now.

honestly the entire plot in TUA basically happened because he cares so much for his family, if not because of his endearment to them (though he doesn’t show it) the whole ‘preventing apocalypse’ adventure wouldn’t happen and he’d just live peacefully in the commission

Next few days, he times travels with his family but separated. His siblings spent years in the 1960s. While he is trying to find his family reminding them AGAIN that they need to stop another apocalypse. While his siblings are having their own life now. And look at them (siblings except five) disagreeing to Five about helping him stop the apocalypse again . YALL, Five is trying his best to survive with you guys and he spent so many years alone. He even killed so many people to go back with his family 😭😭

Exactly. There should’ve been a moment of grief for Five after Allison learned Claire didn't exist in s3, where he realized he wouldn’t meet her after all. The writers apparently forgot that he wanted to meet her. But after that finale the two of them might just get to finally meet in s4.
