Love the deep focus on the modulation. Its one of the things that makes the Meet Maude so special.
The modulation on this is truly amazing. All my favorite shoegaze settings dialed in just perfectly on that toggle

Have you tried stacking it with other delays? Considering it to use with the volante
@@empathysgone96 I stack it with my Ibanez DDL10 and they compliment each other beautifully.
Stack it with empress echosystem! Infinite possibilities with warmth and wobbling. This both play alone. One note then you have a song.

You mean, there's two more pedals by Fairfield on the way? Do you have any info?
smoke system yes there are two coming. I’ve heard one is a reboot of an older one, maybe the Operator? And another no idea. Maybe similar to what they showed awhile back with Justin Trudeau’s talking - FM type modulation or something using airwave FM? Again, total speculation. They should be out this month.

Amazing demo. Have you tried an Old Blood Noise Black Fountain? Feel like this sits in a similar realm; dark, murky. The Black Fountain is almost too dark for my tastes; it blends in beautifully, but also a little too well. Feels like it might be easier to get the meet maude to stick out a little more?
It has been so long since I’ve played a Black Fountain, so it’s hard for me to say. But I definitely think there’s some overlap in terms of that murky ambience to both pedals. Meet Maude definitely has that analog feel to it as well, which I always love

Great job! I saw you mention the SSBS mini elsewhere in the comments here. Would you choose the Halberd or the SSBS mini for the utility you used it in this video? (Fuzzy drive after the modulation, for indie/shoegaze)
Honestly either would be perfect. I have a soft spot for the Mini, and it does fuzz really well. Halberd is really meant to be clean but it will fuzz out if you turn the bass up, which I love for this use
@@collectoremitter after doing a bit more research I actually ended up going with the Fuck! Hopefully that will serve this purpose as good, if not better than either of the other pedals.

Somewhat similar, but a lot darker and more lofi. Still a great delay
The sounds you achieved with this pedal reminded me some of the DOD rubberneck. Have you ever tried one? It think it would be interesting to hear a comparison between the two, just for fun :)
I actually have never had the chance to play a Rubberneck! But I've heard amazing things about it

I’m curious about this vs the Rubber Neck too. Have you played both? THe modulation on the Rubberneck is not very usable in my opinion, but it is a hell of a pedal.

collector//emitter You really should check one out. They are super fun. The rubbernecking feature is great. The only other Analog delay I have my eyes on is Maude.
I get the pun here, but when I first heard somebody talk about this--[cough] Stefan Phucking Fast--, I thought it was "Meat Mod." Now, my wife and kids are vegetarian. . . but that don't mean I can't Meat Mod my way to a barbecue sandwich every now and again. I want to marry my Shallow Water, but I'm trying to put the moves on Meet Maude as well. I just can never afford it.
