One thing I usually get frustrated with is when people create incredible sculptures but then paint it and don’t do it justice, but here I was completely shocked to see you not only do the sculpture justice but you somehow made it even more incredible then it already was, that takes serious skill and I’m interested to know how many hours you must of put into your craft to get this good, this has definitely inspired me to get back Into the hobby of models and miniatures and I might properly start painting again and even start trying out sculpting thanks to this video so thanks person who made this 😁
he paints with different hues on different layers, that way he creates deepness to skin. Material is just basic painting with layers, watered down paints and dry brushing. As a painter i see few things he could do better but it's not the painting that made me sit here in awe. It's the sculpting skills.

I love you modellers who go the extra mile to add detail and realism because it's what I try to do with every scale model I approach. I know I spend far too much time on silly details that nobody than me will ever see but it's what I love. You always take it beyond and I can't thank you enough for sharing your work, the progress and process, and the final product! I hope you enter this figure in a couple competitions because you'll win - and more people get to see it! Awesome!!!

It's a little unsettling to watch clay come to life...especially when the model is of a known person for whom there are high resolution color photographs....absolutely brilliant work.
Outstanding, not only are you a excellent sculptor, your also an amazing artist. I found the painting black before the skin tone an unusual but very effective method, it makes for an interesting weathering effect.

Great work! Also what magic happened between 1:11 and 1:13? You just applied a skintone and the rest is the underpaint? (at some places it seems like its glazed aswell)

I mad about how lazy he was with some details like boots , just dry brush
