How do you determine the the scale size of the miniature? What's the formula you use? I would like to try to sculpt some 1:18 scale size people for my 1:18 scale model cars!
can you please tell me More about how you did the head, how did you do it? did you just make Basic kind of head to the figure, put it in oven to make it Hard (if this was Polymer clay?) and then when its hardened, add More features to it to Look better and let it harden again?? am i totally wrong.:D i was wondering because my polymer clay goes so soft when handling it that if i make head that small i really cant keep it in my hands like that, it will squeeze and its ruined then, i cant touch it with my hands basicly at all so that it keeps in shape and tiny details wont be ruined,. that would be good if i could make Basic head, put it in oven and then add those details in it, it would be much easier but i wasnt sure that can i put it in oven twice, so that these details harden too. hope you understood me, english isnt my first language,:)
Hey there! Dumb question, but what was the smallest human you've sculpted so far? I'd love to make drivers for my 1/24 vehicles and I'm looking for some advice in sculpting small humans
Fantastic. It would be great if you uploaded a paint video as well. I know you don't usually, but you're pretty much the best person doing this sort of stuff on UA-cam right now. Would be a hell of a treat. Thanks for replying anyhow :)
because the thinner dissolves Magic Sculpt, small amount of the thinner dissolves only the surface of the Magic Sculpt and it helps to make smooth surface while rubbing with brush.
Im SO glad I found your lessons, they have heklped me an awful lot thank you
Extraordinaire Sculpting lesson. Thank you for this amazing tutorial.
Thank you for the compliment, I would be glad if this is helpful to others. =)
When I first watched this, I gave an INSTANT like!!! ;)
BRILLIANT!!!
Thank you for 'Like' =)
AMAZING WORK, Ebroin !!!!!! Thak you to share!!!
Thank you for the compliment! =)
Super cool!
I can just imagine a third grade art class with you in it. “What a lovely clay flower Andrew, and... IS THAT A NAZI SOLDIER?”
Actually that happened when I was a middle schooler.
The teacher didn't notice it was a Nazi soldier but my classmate did.

Amazing work of art. how much clay did u use
I am not sure, about 200 grams? Thank you
You are brilliant with putty and a stick! What type of putty do you use?
I use Magic Sculpt from Wesco. =)
Nice. I use to use it but have switched to Aves Apoxie Sculpt as it's non toxic. You certainly do beautiful work... I salute you man!
Simply amazing!
Thank you =)
Brilliant work, thanks for this tutorial. What is the material you're using? Apoxy, bees wax, polymer clay?
It is 'Magic Sculpt', thank you for the compliment.
Congratulations great job, could you tell me what material are you using? It looks very hard when drying
tnx
Thank you for the comment! I used Magic Sculpt for the job, it is a sort of an epoxy putty.
Perfect work, art was born in you, congratulations!que tipo de lixa você usa?
Thank you for the compliment. And I used 200, 400, 600 grit sandpapers, they all from the department store near by my home.
The ankle bands are called gaithers
I have learned a thing or two from you
Amazing tutorial! What materials (putty, or clay) do you use? Magic Sculp only?
Thank you =) And yes, I used only Magic Sculpt for this one.
Brilliant
凄い、神様だ‼😲
How do you determine the the scale size of the miniature? What's the formula you use? I would like to try to sculpt some 1:18 scale size people for my 1:18 scale model cars!
Real lenth/scale. for example, if you want to sculpt a 1:18 scale 180cm tall person, then 180/18, so the figure would be 10 cm tall.

A beautiful job. Do you sculpting from a freshly mixed or already a little hardened mass?
Both, I sculpt when it is soft, then I carve or sand it after it hardens.
Thank you for the comment
@@EbroinSong Thank you for your response. Have you compared magic sculpt to apoxie sculpt?
@@kosa.j No, I haven't used apoxie so I can't compare.

Hey there! Dumb question, but what was the smallest human you've sculpted so far? I'd love to make drivers for my 1/24 vehicles and I'm looking for some advice in sculpting small humans
1/72 figure was my smallest. Some simple advice, check the ratio and volume of the body carefully, and try not to make all the details.
@@EbroinSong how i check ratio is using math for example im making a 1/35 maus
so maus is 395 inches so i divide 35 into 395 so it becomes 11 inches
You son of a bitch, this is incredible! thanks!
=)
Equivalent of John wick with a pencil
Instead its with a toothpick
how age are you? this is epoxy? ou make this apear easy, i am 21 from Goiás BRASIL an i am your fan, congratulations for you
I am 36 years old now. and yes it is Magic Sculpt, a sort of epoxy putty.
Thank you for the comment!
Thank for tutorials (I will try making Chinese ww2 soldier)
That is very unique subject =)
Ebroin Song ya I do making warhammer fantasy armor (sometimes)
This is superb. Did you sketch this out first or just do it from the get-go?
Thanks, I do sketch rarely. I get inspired most of times by already existed images.
Well, you're very talented, that's for sure. Are you uploading the next video soon?
I am editing the last video now. I'll upload soon. =)
Fantastic. It would be great if you uploaded a paint video as well. I know you don't usually, but you're pretty much the best person doing this sort of stuff on UA-cam right now. Would be a hell of a treat. Thanks for replying anyhow :)
I will paint my sculptures in future, I am not as good as box art painters though.
Thank you for the suggestion =)
imposible, fabulos
wow! do you find magic sculpt easier to use than clay ( like earthware) ? how long did this take you?
For this scale, Magic sculpt is more suitable for me. =) It took about 2-3 months, if I remember correctly.
Is there a difference between magic sculpt and apoxie sculpt?
I can't tell, because I haven't used Apoxie yet.
@@EbroinSongI cant find magic sculpt any where. I watch your vids for hours I am a sculptor too
Is that copper wire for the armature?
What else material can we use btw love from India polimer clay and sculpting clays are expensive here can I use air dry clay?
I am not sure what you can get in India, I am using Magic Sculpt, it hardens over time without oven.
@@EbroinSong ok !
Epoxy ?
Magic Sculpt, a sort of Epoxy putty.
which material do you use?
I used Magic Sculpt
Why laquer thinner on the face?
because the thinner dissolves Magic Sculpt, small amount of the thinner dissolves only the surface of the Magic Sculpt and it helps to make smooth surface while rubbing with brush.
It's amazing with good concepts but people in the comments, it is NOT a tutorial
PLEASE wear some protection for your lungs, I use bare hands but cutting and filing apoxie is really bad for you
