I've come to realize Kojima is just a brilliant director, he always knows how to excite his audience with his trailers and get people curious about the narrative's themes, simply through his curious visual storytelling and Yoji's Shinkawa's intricate mechanical and character designs.
Death Stranding is a tool that creates emotions, the kind that stick to your skin and carve out a space of their own in your head. It's difficult to feel more worried and enthralled at the same time by/to a video game, as far as I'm concerned it's happened to me very few other times. And indeed, I would say that I have never felt similar sensations before: an inexplicable and in its own way lovable anguish, an infinite and unique charm. I don't remember a single mission before which I didn't feel tired, and yet I couldn't tear myself away from that world. Death Stranding was the best virtual pain I've ever inflicted on myself, also because it is studded with a rare and unforgettable form of beauty.
Man, I swear Hideo is just on another level from everyone else. Always was, still is. The sheer goosebumps you feel watching his content is incomparable.

I didnt beatb death stranding before the reveal of the sequel, but as soon as it starting playing during the state of play i STOPPED IT, went and reinstalled death stranding directors cut on the ps5, and played it from start to finish in about a months time (mostly on the ps portal)… now im back here. It was worth it.
by far my favorite sign of this trailer is the new enviornments. savanahs, deserts, the moon, avalanche-filled Mountains, it truly seems like it will be an achievement to overcome such harsh terrain and looks to be far more tolerable if not full-on enjoyable in this game compared to the last (which was still enjoyable but hard to push through at times).
If I had a nickel for every time I saw a video game character use a guitar as a weapon, I'd have two nickles. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

It makes sense. He was the only person left on Amelie's beach before she shut everyone out, and we know she has the ability to send people back. Perhaps he merged and used her somehow to repatriate himself.

This looks so cool. Kojijma is a legit creative genius. I miss Metal Gear, but I'm glad to see him doing something new with his imagination. I've been wanting to see him branch out ever since the PS2 days when he was saying he wanted to move on from MG but Konami kept forcing him back.
How come no one is asking why Higgs looks like Amelie now? He now has her hair, he’s wearing her necklace, he even moves more…. “feminine” this time around. Did he somehow come back from the Beach as a mixture of her, similar to Metal Gear Solid 2 with how Liquid came back through Ocelot?

It makes sense. He was the only person left on Amelie's beach before she shut everyone out, and we know she has the ability to send people back. Perhaps he merged and used her somehow to repatriate himself.

@@xikaryo6735 Don’t you need a camera to do stop motion? It’s a video game. So, I’m assuming they are using frame rate tricks to emulate stop motion. Kinda like how game characters in the background often have lower frame rates to help with performance. Like the zombies in the background of some of the re2 remake levels. I may be wrong about this. I am no expert. Please educate me if you know more. PS: I am well aware that the low frame rate or stop motion is intentional. That’s why I called it dope lol
@@MoistPancakes No you’re completely right about it, the puppet has purposefully intentional low frame rate to LOOK like stop motion in the game’s world and it looks fantastic for the character in contrast with the other characters in the world! Makes everything looks so visually unique and highly stylized in the BEST way possible! I’m so hyped for this game! Let’s GOOOOO!!!!!
