Nobody did harmonies like them, and that voice,,, Such a shame how he went out. It was ages til he was found. Between him, Chris cornell, Kurt cobain and of course Jeff Buckley we were given a golden time to be young and alive, but we loved and lost hard, and the lights that burned the brightest, burned twice as fast.

" I love that , sang like a angry angel, that's Layne. NO ONE sang like him or has since, and many have tried and failed . He was such a gifted person , but had so many demons , God love him. Is my all time favorite description....,freaking spot on! You just got seduced by Lane Stanley, posthumously....The same exact thing happened to me when I first heard them. It still happens. What we call 'skin orgasm’ or goosebumps, scientists call 'frisson." Music releases a neurotransmitter in the brain called dopamine' which is associated with tangible pleasures. Not everyone gets them. Those that do get them have a personality trait called 'openness to experience'.“People who possess this trait have unusually active imaginations, appreciate beauty and nature, seek out new experiences, often reflect deeply on their feelings, and love variety in life."

Agree! Out of everything they did together- prob one of the most heart-felt, tender hearted songs/dialogues between two friends. And Layne...even ‘chilled down’ just simply blows you away with his talent. You definitely feel it to your core.

This band didn't put out ONE bad song...not ONE! I remember the first time seeing them live. It was on the Clash of the Titans Tour with Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax. AIC opening. They got booed and people were chanting SLAYER! I felt bad for em because they were a great live band. Had the pleasure of seeing these guys 6 times. I really miss Layne and Mike. R.I.P.

"Seeping through my body in a different way..." You just described Alice In Chains and grunge in general in one sentence. Next should be Would? Them Bones, Rooster..just wait till you hear Rooster. You might want to byoass the video for that one. Listening and looking is sensory overload for that song.
