Backstory. So Axel got off the bus in Cincinnati and some random homeless guy says,"you know where you are? You're in the jungle!". It only took Axel half an hour to write this song.
I've subscribed to a few channels of people reacting to various movies and or music videos etc however this is my dude! Love him! He actually feels, shows his emotion and what he's feeling in the moment, regardless of what he's feeling he's not afraid to show it. He's real and in these days, it's a rare quality. A diamond in the rough! Wish him the best for him and his children!!
Mr. Video, The jungle is the inner city. In the beginning Axel looks like a hay seed that fell off the turnip truck. He even has a weed hanging out of his mouth lol.. but by the end of the video he stands at the window of the store watching all the craziness, shaking his head. It's as if he is saying, "Yeah. That's how it goes here...get used to it" GNR is by far one of my favorite all time bands. I had a mad crush on Axel back in the day!!
"You know where you are? You're in the jungle, baby! You're gonna die!" This is something a homeless man said to Axl on skid row when he first moved to L.A.

I’ve seen Guns N’ Roses three times live. After the second show the next day I was at gym and slash and axle were both working out there my claim to fame was Axl gave me the middle finger 🖕🏻
Every once in a while I binge watch your channel. This is the first time I've seen your reactions to Guns and Roses. The first time I was introduced to GNR I was in 7th grade. It was the first day of science class in junior high in 1988. I was used to listening to hip hop, NWA, Hall and Oates, Led Zeppelin, and quite a diverse array of music. GNR was the first band that I heard with this type of sound. I was sitting at my desk and in walks this skinny ass girl with bright naturally red/orange hair all big ass and teased up, leather jacket, black eyeliner everywhere, pail as shit, tight jeans with chains all hanging. She had a Walkman of all things and I could hear the music. She sits down and said, "Hey, what's happening?" I asked her what music that was and the look on her face when she realized I didn't know this monster of a rocking band was something I remember vividly today. She took her headphones off and said here and shoved them at me and said listen to this. Welcome to the Jungle blasted my head apart and I was in love. Then she told me Guns and Roses. Axel Rose was the shit. I don't remember her name, but I'll never forget her.
That was the 80’s around 87... I had the best time of my life in LA watching GN’R and Motley Crüe playing at The Whisky GoGo and The Rainbow... to be honest we’re all really lucky we survived it because many did not. The memories are golden.
U have quickly becoming one of my top favorite channels to watch reaction videos...I cant describe how good it is to see younger people listening to and loving music I listened to when I was younger...I was in my early 20s when Guns & Rose's rose to fame....I still have my cassette tape of there album! Now back to smoking my bowl and watching more videos!!
I'm pretty sure that for this song, 'the jungle' is life at the bottom, where everything's a life or death struggle. It will take you to your knees, or kill you, if you don't manage to get out, meanwhile some of the people at the bottom are happy to see new people drop down there, because they're new targets, or victims, or somebody to exploit, because they don't know the life or death rules of the jungle.
Saw GNR in the 90s. Metallica opened for them. EPIC concert! GNR was about 2 hrs late hitting the stage but it was sooooo worth it. Appetite For Destruction was & still is one of my favorite albums EVER. Every song from start to finish is freaking awesome. They have an amazing catalog of music. Too much to react to. he arrives all young and wide-eyed, and then the city's reality fucking decks him like bruce lee.
You absolutely have to check out November Rain!
Axle Rose is his name. Check out Sweet child of mine
"November Rain" is a MUST🔥
Oh yes, GNR is awesome!!! So many songs. Sweet Child O' Mine is probably most popular. Awhile back I recommended Paradise City, some other greats are Patience, November Rain, Knocking on heaven's door, Dont Cry, Civil War, yesterdays, one in a million, live and let die. Welcome to another rabbit hole 🤣. Axl Rose is the singer, Slash is the kick ass lead guitarist.
Was early early 20s when this came out. Friend of mine introduced me to appetite for destruction and hooked. Dude could do the slinky move as good as Axl 🙄😁
This was released in 1987 hun, you're way off :)
Appetite For Destruction is one of my favorite albums of all time and any genre of music!
Lynn I was talking about my age when this came out not year ☺️
@@bethshadid2087 lol..now that makes sense :) sincerest apologies, I mis-interpreted x
@@lynnhamps7052 not a problem 😁💗
Backstory. So Axel got off the bus in Cincinnati and some random homeless guy says,"you know where you are? You're in the jungle!". It only took Axel half an hour to write this song.
Funny MTV refused to play this song at first..then they finally did and the next thing you know they based their whole channel around them.
This is one of those bands that erupted on the scene with their very first album, which has this song. 🔥🔥🔥😵
Fun fact. A lot of people don't realize, the guitarist Slash is half Black.
And his real name is Saul.
And that matters 'cause why????
Saul is a Jewish name
Makes no difference what his race is.
His mom is of Nigerian descent, I believe. Why his hair is so awesome.

It's kinda interesting. Because it's not something entirely obvious.
"Put toilet paper down on the public urinals..."
Um, I don't think you're using urinals the right way lol...
"YOURE GONNA DIE!!!"
Mr. Video: "What? D: I just got here"
What a song, what a band!!.....and what a reaction 😉 More GNR please
I think you should hear to this guys in an entire different vibe, just hear "Patience" it's just an amazing piece of art.
“I don’t wanna die, I just got to the jungle”. I cannot stop laughing
Axl's scream at the beginning is so damn chilling I love it. The perfect build up with the eerie guitar
Warning : when I hear this song something about it just makes me want to put my foot down on the pedal and speed like a bat out of hell
🌠 yes, yes it does 🚀
Another good song to react to 🤣
Thats a different song 🤣
😂😂😂
@@boomer63 not for me, this one and Dragula by rob zombie
Not lying, this is my college's team anthem. The band plays it live every game as the team comes out. Imagine facing that as the other team.
"You know where you are? You're in the jungle, baby! You're gonna die!" This is something a homeless man said to Axl on skid row when he first moved to L.A.
My dad played this song so often when I was two, I could sing it word for word.
You see this is why I love your reactions you put so much energy into them and I feel like you're going to jump out of your body from pure joy
We rewound your Sha Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Knees a half dozen times & are now recouping from hyperventilating...Thank You...!

I’ve seen Guns N’ Roses three times live. After the second show the next day I was at gym and slash and axle were both working out there my claim to fame was Axl gave me the middle finger 🖕🏻
LMAO
LMFAO...He said, "I wanna watch you bleed!" & you sat up straight! Hold the f... on now 🤣 Love your reactions...
"Sweet Child of Mine"
Best GnR recommendation for the next song.
"if you got the money, we got your disease" is a reference to selling drugs
I forgot in the 80's they used to say "disease" meaning addiction a lot.
If you have money you can feed any vice you have.
This is the music my dad grew up with. And I'm thankful I discovered it as a kid, because I can appreciate it for what it is.
Love ur reactions 😂 ur awesome ♥️
His reactions are so fucking funny!!
"I don't wanna die man I just got to the juuungle" 😂😂
I'm pretty sure that for this song, 'the jungle' is life at the bottom, where everything's a life or death struggle. It will take you to your knees, or kill you, if you don't manage to get out, meanwhile some of the people at the bottom are happy to see new people drop down there, because they're new targets, or victims, or somebody to exploit, because they don't know the life or death rules of the jungle.
I love this guy's reactions! Really funny and really honest!
Dude I love the entire hell out of your rock reactions. Keep going man.
Axle Rose. Lead singer. The poison is drugs.. He said if you got the money we got your disease 💯👏👏👏❤️❤️
Axl Rose, singer, is a HUGE Queen fan!
November Rain is a great video. Love ya Leo!
Think of that!! Metallica OPENED for GNR!!!
@@MeMeVoyageOf EXACTLY... That is a HELLUVA Endorsement!

YASSSS!!!! Guns N Roses, the biggest band in the world back in the late 80's, early 90's. Sending Cali love. :)
Ok, I'm subscribing. I love your reactions to "old" songs I've loved for years. Guns N Roses have MANY bangers.
