Listen, I don't think Nash deserved that MVP either (or his second one), but it's beyond unacceptable for Kyrie to say that in Nash's home. I don't know how Steve responded, but he had every right to cuss him out and kick him out.
Nash deserved that MVP you don't need to have some empty stats like 30+ per game to prove you are valuable to your team before Nash Suns are always at the bottom of the western conference and just by adding him without any other major players added I'm sure they've become at top 4 team in the west forgot witch place though, if Koby deserved it why can't he do that for the lakers? Just watch Nash play during his MVP years and you will understand why he was the MVP.
deserved and shouldn't have won are two different things. should he have won? no, but he did deserve them. If the would-be runner up snubs the mvp from the person that should have won it doesn't mean they didn't deserve it, especially if it's debatable. Joel Embiid did deserve his mvp, but he shouldn't have won it.
@@chidi9646 just say the story as it is and move on??? Even if it's for laughs, the fact that he's unnecessarily piling on an already disrespected all time great player shows his maturity level, which is pretty low tbh.
Must disagree about 2015. LBJ hovers around 50% fg, in that season he was 52%. In those finals he was not even 40%. Seems like he would have averaged 50+ PPG had he not been guarded well. Now who got robbed 🤷🏼♂️, idc - these awards only matter for the next contract.
But that’s just assists. Kobe averaged more points and rebounds! He was also younger and had more coming for him, meanwhile Nash, at his 31 year-old season, won the MVP award over freaking Kobe Bryant!!
well tbh Nash was way more efficient than Kobe that season and iguodala did shoot more efficiently than curry, also lebron didn’t even shoot 0.4% that finals I ain’t saying curry and Kobe don’t deserve those mvps but you can’t only compare points, rebounds, and assists
the reason why nash is more efficient is probably because he takes less shots? kobe was carrying the offensive load for the lakers thats why he had to take more shots. Lebron did shot bad from the field that series but who else did he had to make some shots? Kyrie got hurt so his second best player was matthew delladova. clearly andre ddint guard james all alone th injuries help a lot now they only have to focus one person on defense.
The MVP needs to become a mathematical equation and take most of the media favouritism out of it. If you could conceive an algorithm that took into account all game statistics, games played, team success at the end of the season, and give that an 80% weighting... then cross matched by the voting by players, coaches, and media at a 20% weighting... then you would have the real MVP. Only 20% of the voting (biased or not) would contribute to the overall statistical analysis and determination of the MVP.
To be fair he is not saying that Derrick Rose didn't deserve the MVP, he was just comparing numbers to say that Trae Young at least deserved an all star selcetion having numbers similar to an mvp and i kind of agree with that
Marc Gasol had much better defensive stats than lebron in 2013 and was top 6 in most categories. Lebron was top 6 in like 1 or 2 categories and as low as 104th in one. this myth gotta die already. by the logic used in this video Tony Allen should've won DPOY in 2013.
@@redbogaming6009 Rodman was 6'6" guarding real big men, his numbers like blocks are not gonna be good. he was getting 20+ rebounds a game and leading the league in rebounds at least 5 times.
You're wrong about LeBron yes he had all the tools. But he was either the best defender you'll ever see or a defensive liability on a Play by play basis. I'd personally rather have a defensive scrub that's consistent and can be planned around than someone that you expect to stop ball or chasedownand then falls asleep or Olays the offense
As a warriors fan Even tho curry does deserve that 2015 fmvp iggy did stop lebron y’all looking at how much bron had look at how much he was going for if iggy didn’t stop bron, bron would’ve avg 60 that’s series
Trae Young did not make it because its voting by fans and players and they dont respect him. Also his TS precentage was horrific and this whole video ignores DeFense like Trae is the worst defender in the league. Allstar robbery is irellevant becasue fans vote and Andrew wigins made it. Its popularity
Yeah, Curry deserved it over Iguodala but you missed the point abo0ut his defence. LeBron shot under 40% on high volume, that killed the Cavs and was due to a lot to Iguodala.
bruh, don’t compare d rose mvp season to trey young 2023. everyone scores higher in today’s game. d rose was unstoppable in that season. trey young’s great, but not mvp d rose level
Cant agree with you on yhe james harden point. His points per game was manufactured from the crappiest of free-throws. Thats why nobody respects him. And Trae Young. Just go hoop and stop the extra bs.
spoken like a hater, first Lebron is better than Gasol, he have literally triple the votes Gasol have, I think Nash is deserving of winning mvp but in 2005? It's clearly Kobe who was better, if not for his controversies he would have won both, Curry deserved that fmvp, This was the year before people understood one of the reasons to why Curry was so good. His gravity wasn't even pointed out yet. Remember when people saw how Curry was getting doubled off ball giving KD free dunks in the finals in 2017 and 2018? Well, that same thing happened for Iggy, Draymond and Barnes. and for your argument to Harden well, I agree he doesn't have defense to yeah, Gianiss is More Valuable PLayer.
Which NBA star got robbed the hardest?
Antony Edwards
Nikola Jokić
Lbj
Nikola Jokic
Curry on 2015 for sure ❤

doesnt matter if he deserved it or not, kyrie be wildin to say that to his coach lol
Well Harden went from 56-26 to 41-41. Not only that that season was the apex of his no defense repertoire.
that thumbnail made my day
Bro your videos are hilarious don’t ever stop uploading, always puts me in a good mood
I love you and your breakdowns, one question are you a warriors fan
nope, here we idolate the warriors
No what makes u think that
Yes i thought it was obvious but sorry if u didn’t know
Damn bro, you didn't have to laugh at the Nash and Kyrie incident like that. That's actually plain disrespectful on your and Kyrie's part :((

Curry not being finals mvp in 2015 is a crime. Especially with people saying lebron should've won finals mvp

“Sheeheeheeheesh guys”
Amazing video❤
That thumbnail bro 😅
Bro you lost me when you compared stats of D.Rose from 2011 to Trae Young's 2023 numbers.
I think that Steve Nash deserved both of his MVP's for his playmaking ability to make so many good assists.

gasol had better numbers defensively
way better.
Dennis Rodman is known as one of the greatest defenders of all time but his numbers never indicates that so it’s more than just numbers
Skibidi I dip dop dop yes yes
Excluding a lot of context in this video. Sure Young had better numbers than D Rose but in a completely different era of basketball.
not to mention D Rose caried his team to #1 seed in a conference with a fresjly formed super team. MVP is not a stat award.
