  • What Happened To The 40 Players Drafted Before Nikola Jokić?
They actually dared to substitute his draft moment on live television with a Taco Bell ad...
So, what happened to the 40 other players that heard their names called before the Joker?

If you believe and repent of your sins and put your faith and trust in Him as you would a parachute jumping off a plane at 25000 feet up in the air, He will give you eternal life in heaven as a free gift and I promise you, He will ill change your life forever as He did mine. I think it's important to remember that this draft was at a turning point in the NBA. 3pt shooting just won the NBA Finals. And then the Warriors enhanced it even more. So all the inside players and non-shooting threats decreased dramatically in value. This draft class was drafted for a different kind of game. So no surprise if things didn't work out.

Even without him Partizan barely lost the next two games. If Kevin Panther wasnt a moron, Partizan Belgrade would have probably won this year's Euroleague.

Spanish people are sometimes very cunning and mean, but nevertheless if Kevin Punter wasn't such an idiot Dante Exum would most probably go back to NBA with Euroleague ring. Dante exploded last season in Partizan, was one of the leaders of the team, whenever they were strugling Dante took the ball and hit threes, or drived to the hoop and made some crazy dunks! And dunking in Europe is not that easy as is in NBA. Unfortunately he went backo to NBA to play alongside Doncic and Irving, but he deservs more minutes in NBA for sure.

I feel like even if every team gained a sudden insight into what Jokic would become, the CAVS would still draft Wiggins #1, he was (at that time) the most certain prospect and the one who had the biggest trade value (considering that they would trade the pick anyways, as even if they added Jokic it's unsure they could've won, and they would definitely take longer to do it). #2 and below on the other hand missed out on a generational talent (pretty sure the Embiid versus Jokic debate is dead by now, right ?)

I don’t give a f*** if jokic gets the mvp award ahead pf many other great players. The statline he puts up it’s crazy

The focus shouldn’t be on the players, but rather on the “experts” - general managers, scouts and ppd’s who told us with such certainty that these mediocrities were worthy of their draft positions and inflated contracts.

Fun fact. Jokic has more rings than series wins against 50 win team
Fun fact. Jokic has the same number of MVPS as he do 50 win seasons. And at one point had mvps than 50 win seasons

@@LockdownK I mean fast players don't do much in the nba anymore; look at Russ, john wall ben simmons. Where as slower big players such a Jokic, Doncic, embiid are able to control the floor and the game

A shame they got eliminated by the Twolves though it was a good series. Would have been interesting to watch them face off against the Mavs in the conf. Finals or the Celtics in the finals though I think the C's will comfortably beat them with their deeper bench and tougher D.
