Hey, great build. I hope you showed your Dad how hard it was to clean the crud out of the case and told him the same crud is in his lungs! Tell him you want your kids to know their Grandpa so he should quit smoking!!
I have two of these cases... I also use Uphere LED fans from Amazon (green in one case, blue in the other). Two things I noticed about your build. 1) when you removed the stock intake fan, it was on the outside of the case, you then put the new intake fans INSIDE the case!?! That reduces your intake and glow aestetics... you should have mounted the intake fans on the outside of the case like the stock fan showed you (there's even a cutout to run the fan cords through). 2) I see you used two Uphere 120mm fans for intake... nothing wrong with that, but you can use two 140mm fans on the front for better airflow (Uphere also makes green LED fans in 140mm variety, that's what I use on my builds). Oh, and for case aestetics I used a Hyper 212 Black CPU cooler and replaced the fan with the same Uphere fans you used to keep the LED lighting effects matching. Great video and nice work on your dad's PC!
thinking about grabbing the same fans for my build, and using the Cooler Master NR400 as well. Planning to par it with a 3060Ti, ryzen and b550m pro VDH? Would this motherboard be a good one to go with, also do you have a link to the uphere fans you used for your build?
i've switched case from corsair carbide 88r windowed to coolermaster masterbox nr400 w/o odd a week ago. very satisfied with the case. very easy to build with.
hi mate nice video overall, but i saw at 1:52 that those cable extension come with cable combs, I think it would make the pcie and atx 24 pin cable looks better if you use it.
I don't understand why you removed the lock for the dvd player to put a screw? you just had to hold it back and slide the recorder in and it was attached?
Thanks for this video am considering to buy this case but I have a question? do you think is possible tho install 2 140mm fans in the top plus the dvd-drive? Thanks.
@@Pokanimal Oh my gosh! I really like the minimalist look of this case but am a crazy guy with the air flow and acoustic environment, I like to keep my temps as low possible and low noise too! Oh Well! thanks for respond my answer!
Hi, I'm thinking of buying this case as well, but I'm not sure if there is enough space for the power supply. How much space is left if you take note of the hard drive bays? PSU's length is 170mm, not sure if it'd fit.
It wouldn't fit unfortunately since the clearance with the hard drive cage all the way back is 140mm, however with the optical drive version you can mount a hard drive below the optical drive.
1:28 They would look a LOT nicer if the were black and did not light up. The only thing more fugly than LED lights on a PC case is RGB lights on a PC case..

Green is my favorite color, and guess what, that's a f-ing nice build.

You're right I totally forgot about that lol
how has the front mesh done at keeping out dust??

Can we remove the parte where the dvd-drive is installed? and put another fan there
there is a non optival-drive/DVD-drive version of the NR400
Or the hard drive cage is removable

It won't fit unfortunately, only one fan can go on top with the odd version.

I checked the performance of this pc. Crazy for a Dad. 👌👌👌
Yess more than enough :)
How much you selling that tobacco-covered GPU for?
You could prob get like $1500 for it, as is.
Not sure if this is true but I think that the weird color on the dust is from the cigarettes.
You're probably right
Great video, thanks. But tell your dad it's time to stop smoking inside, for everybody's sake.
Agreed :P

Alright. Thanks for the quick answer! :)
We're standoffs pre-installed?
Yes, you can also move them around if you need too.
