It makes all the difference in the world that you build in these cases before review. Your years of experience with building in all sorts of cases/configurations show in every video and you guys continue to raise the bar for product reviews. Just keep doing everything you do and all will be right with the internet.
I love mine....its a very solid case with plenty of room and great air flow. This is what i crammed into it I7-4820k with Corsair H60 cooler Gigbyte X79-up4 with 16gb C. vengeance 1866 mem evga gtx 780 sc /acx evo 840 SSD (500gb) wd 1 TB HD Corsair RM850 psu NZXT Sentry LX fan controller various led lights and still have room to spare !! Thanks for all the great videos Linus !!
+Andrew Rafko That's pretty darn good for a case that price. I do think the N300 windowed appeals to me more though. Partly because it's more widely available.
i like all these case reviews, you're basically the best at it! also im in the looks for a new case and the ones you've previously shown are definetly being considered. thanks mate :D
Wow, so I know it was not just me who probably asked for you guys to discuss pricing, but I asked last video and what do you know. Thanks so much. You guys are awesome
i did a build with this case and it blew me away with how much they thought out in this for the price no arguements thats it well and truely worth it and once you put aftermarket fans on it looks awesome highly recommended!!!!
I bought this case recently because of 1 features. The drive cage is convertable to 2.5 from 3.5 to give you enough room to put in a Sapphire 290/290x tri-x (~305mm) while giving you an ability to have 7 drives (3 HDDs (2 if you have a fan at the bottom it blocks the very bottom HDD mount (see HardwareCanucks review) and 4 2.5" SSD/HDDs (1 SSD at the back of the case)) for cheap. In my research I found couple others that the ability to fit the sapphire tri-x The 230T (330mm clearance even with bottom slot according to one review and 400+ on top slots), Cougar Archon (barely 310mm) and this case. There are others but you need to remove the drive cage to make room. Just thought I'd make this comment for someone who is in the same situation as me.
It's honestly great to see cases like this. A great value at a great price makes it easier for people who want to get into PC building have a cheap way to get into it without losing the necessities such as adequate cooling.
Although it includes radiator mounts, closed loop radiators like the corsair h100 will not fit in this case with the fans attached, there is not enough clearance, but you can have a pull configuration for this case with the fans outside( if you are interested in installing a 240mm radiator)
I have the smaller brother to this case, the N200, same one you reviewed a long time ago... great little cases... wish they had more cable room though!!
Also, just a heads up to people who are looking into this case there are 4 versions. KKN1 - XtraFlo: White LED (Front), Fan LED button and Fan Controller KWN1 - Above but with window (Note if you get the one without window you get an extra fan slots (2x 120mm)) KKN2 - XtraFlo: no LED (Front), No Fan LED button and No Fan controller KWN2 - Same thing as above but with window I didn't hear Linus mention it. NCIX Canada is selling KKN2 and nothing else (that I saw). Newegg is selling KKN1 and maybe the window version too.
Review a rosewill redbone u3? It looks good but lacks some features inside; I like to hear what Linus thinks about it and maybe tips on what to improve.
Serious question: is shipping packaging that much of a concern? Are physical PC hardware shops that uncommon in the US that most people get their stuff online cos that's the impression I'm getting
It looks like you missed some kind of reservoir mounts on the back panel to the left of the aux pci slot, seem like a hell of a lot of features for the price :)
You're reviewing the model NSE-600-KKN1 but model NSE-600-KKN2 is the only one I can find in Canada. I pointed this out back when hardware Canucks did their review of this case. What's the deal?
I'm actually shopping for a new case to upgrade my old Thermaltake case and can't believe this video just came out a few days ago. I'm still torn between this and the Corsair 400R
I will say that the N series is actually really good to build in. My most recent build was in an N200, and it was super easy. Cable management was easier in it than it was in my mid-tower ATX case.
When will we find out about the monday meeting? What was it about? oh and for the N600, I'm kinda digging the from strip thing they have going on on the front. Would have preferred it to be flush, but I like it.
I tried to get this case when I did a refresh of my current build, but it seemed to have been discontinued; did they really make some more of these bad boys? If so, I'm tempted to buy one so I have one ready for my next build.
I bought this case before i saw this video and I agree with most linus' comments about it. A little more space behind the motherboard tray would have been nice but overall it is a great case.
I'm thinking of getting myself a replacement over my two year old CM 690 Advanced II due to the fact when I have 4 fans running in it, its pretty much dust prone half of the time. Gotta clean it every month. Will this be a good replacement?
I have had an Elite 430 for two years. It has great airflow and looks fine. There is no cable management, but I paid $50 for it (and got $10 back from the rebate). I would spend a bit more money on my next case, and this is exactly the kind of case I would buy. This or the Thermaltake Urban.
Do a review on the raidmax super viper. I was thinking about building a gaming computer and getting the super viper in the red color. can you add any incite?
I ordered a cooler master case from them not to long ago, and found out that the side window was cracked and pretty much ruined , I contacted them and they happily replaced it, within a few days.. i also got a few extra things with my case
Linus, can you PLEASE do something about the forum, the server seems to be down half the time. Really frustrating when you had just prepared a long-ish post and hit the post button only to find that the server has gone down and you have lost everything you typed.
I have the n400 and its so hard to manage the cables has no room for mounting a 240mm rad on the side due to the cables and no removable hard drive cage :(
So does this belong in the: "Stuff that doesn't suck" series? Because if I was building a computer for someone with only 600 dollars to spare, I might consider this case. Before, my goto case is always the source 210, but now, it might change...
Why are there still USB 2.0 ports around? 3.0 is backwards compatible, I really don't see a reason to still put 2.0 into anything? Are they THAT much more expensive?
Same as what you started with. . .you should have an extra 20-40$ to put into case and step up to something better alot better but still a nice case. i would grab it if it was 60$ on sale but no 140mm fan mounts kinda bothers me
i like it, its really similar to my rosewill challenger case, its budget friendly and i like the sleeper style where there's not a lot of unnecessary fancy bullshit and bright colors. much prefer to spend money on the internal stuff rather than making it all pretty and dramatic looking.
A missinterperitated case with so much potential! Imagine what it would be like without the ugly strip in the front, looks from 2007, space to put cables, and applying money to more necessary places. I would absolute get this case if it was more like a Corsair 450D, I like how I can use my GPU radiator on the side of the case instead of stretching or bending the tube.
Im a complete novice doing my first build. Which molex connector would I use for the fan controller on the back and where would it plug in on the MSI z97 gaming 7 MB?
Seen another video of yours showing how to change the voltage for fans on a molex adapter. I think I figured out that its a molex to 3 or 4 pin fan adapter that plugs into a fan slot on the MB. Please tell me if Im right.
It makes all the difference in the world that you build in these cases before review. Lunis is so enthusiastic about technology, it's awesome
I love mine....its a very solid case with plenty of room and great air flow.

YES, LINUS, MORE COMPUTER CASE REVIEWS. YESSSS
i like all these case reviews, you're basically the best at it! also im in the looks for a new case and the ones you've previously shown are definetly being considered. thanks mate :D

Linus never bullshits. It's why I'm still subbed.
This channel deserves more subs! At least 1.8 million
Linus is love Linus is life.
It's honestly great to see cases like this. A great value at a great price makes it easier for people who want to get into PC building have a cheap way to get into it without losing the necessities such as adequate cooling.
Linus, Breathe man. Slow down.
Although it includes radiator mounts, closed loop radiators like the corsair h100 will not fit in this case with the fans attached, there is not enough clearance, but you can have a pull configuration for this case with the fans outside( if you are interested in installing a 240mm radiator)
Just got my R4 the other day and I'm glad I did, plenty of room for future upgrades, can't wait till I get my other parts. :)
That usb3 cable length joke really made me laugh haha!
This is a really nice looking case for it's price
Coolermaster are pros at budget cases imo
I have the smaller brother to this case, the N200, same one you reviewed a long time ago... great little cases... wish they had more cable room though!!
Great video linus, I built a PC in the N200 and loved it
best case they have put out in a long time
Also, just a heads up to people who are looking into this case there are 4 versions.
KKN1 - XtraFlo: White LED (Front), Fan LED button and Fan Controller
KWN1 - Above but with window (Note if you get the one without window you get an extra fan slots (2x 120mm))

I didn't hear Linus mention it. NCIX Canada is selling KKN2 and nothing else (that I saw). Newegg is selling KKN1 and maybe the window version too.
Spend 35$ dollars on this case and a NCIX warehouse sale, it came in good shape. It also came with hardwares canucks address and everything.
2:01
Apparently SSD upside-down is just *ASS*.
It looks like you missed some kind of reservoir mounts on the back panel to the left of the aux pci slot, seem like a hell of a lot of features for the price :)
6:30 Holy balls-scratch
He was changing the slide on his teleprompter lmao
Definitely going to consider this case for the editing rig I am planning to build.
You're reviewing the model NSE-600-KKN1 but model NSE-600-KKN2 is the only one I can find in Canada. I pointed this out back when hardware Canucks did their review of this case. What's the deal?
Is that a new AMD GPU? The vent near the bracket seems to be different (larger holes).
Linus did you remember you were on camera @ 6:30 ? Lol
I think he was changing the tele prompter slide haha
I think it's more a case of idle hands do dirty things ;p
JCandre That hand *clearly* wasn't anywhere near his right pocket :P
as soon as I saw it , I knew someone was going to make a joke about it XD
I'm actually shopping for a new case to upgrade my old Thermaltake case and can't believe this video just came out a few days ago. I'm still torn between this and the Corsair 400R
I will say that the N series is actually really good to build in. My most recent build was in an N200, and it was super easy. Cable management was easier in it than it was in my mid-tower ATX case.
Nice Colermaster finally stepping up their case game.
When will we find out about the monday meeting? What was it about?
oh and for the N600, I'm kinda digging the from strip thing they have going on on the front. Would have preferred it to be flush, but I like it.

Please review The NZXT Source 210 with the side fan and not the window. It is the best budget case.
I just want to say that I love when you describe pricing. Do it more. Please.
^ That guy has a point.
SpectacularName ^ Lol noone cares
Joseph Richards Apparently you did.
big fan of cm cases, used to use antec. cm's seem to stay cleaner on the inside.
Have you had any bad shipping experiences because I could never see a computer case being damaged during shipping.
@keen kosi Thankyou so much man. I will be going with this setup and not the other one.
Can you do a review of the NZXT Phantom 240?
What about the Bitfenix Shinobi against this case? The only drawback I heard about it was that it doesn't come with an HDD caddy.
This case is much better. The shinobi is lacking quite a bit in the features department.
I really like how these cases look
Please do a review on the CM Silencio 650
The ending was awesome.
I bought this case before i saw this video and I agree with most linus' comments about it. A little more space behind the motherboard tray would have been nice but overall it is a great case.
This case is Awesome... I wish I had seen this before I got my current case.
I'm thinking of getting myself a replacement over my two year old CM 690 Advanced II due to the fact when I have 4 fans running in it, its pretty much dust prone half of the time. Gotta clean it every month.
Will this be a good replacement?
I read the descriptions when it's something I'm interested in. Sadly however the amazon links never work and I always forget... :(
I read the description Linus. I read it this time just for you, without asking
Hey Linus, I think you should do noise tests for fan audibility for future case reviews.
Yes i always read the description.
Hey Linus, can you review the Cooler Master HAF 912?
Linus could you make a review of the CM Storm Trooper? Would be great :)
PLEASE do a masterbox lite 5 revieuw, there are NONE online.
I have had an Elite 430 for two years. It has great airflow and looks fine. There is no cable management, but I paid $50 for it (and got $10 back from the rebate). I would spend a bit more money on my next case, and this is exactly the kind of case I would buy. This or the Thermaltake Urban.
I always read the video description!
Top mounted power supply... WHAT YEAR IS IT?
Do a review on the raidmax super viper. I was thinking about building a gaming computer and getting the super viper in the red color. can you add any incite?
Very nice case for the price. I love CM cases. I'm personally using a CM Storm Stryker
Thanks for this 'budget review' Linus!
I'll be getting this case :)
I ordered a cooler master case from them not to long ago, and found out that the side window was cracked and pretty much ruined , I contacted them and they happily replaced it, within a few days.. i also got a few extra things with my case
Fractal makes a fan controller at the back - "WTF, Fractal?"
CM makes a fan controller at the back - "that's a nice thing to have"
~ Linus
Hey Linus
Can you rewiev the spec series from Corsair?
On the internet there're less videos about it.
Linus, can you PLEASE do something about the forum, the server seems to be down half the time. Really frustrating when you had just prepared a long-ish post and hit the post button only to find that the server has gone down and you have lost everything you typed.
Really wondering... but through opinion, this or the Enthoo Pro?
Is this the same with N400
Just finished a corsair 300r build. I feel buyers regret already. Thanks Linus.
What CPU cooler was that? Could this case fit something like the CM Hyper 212 EVO or Noctua NH-U12S?
You got my "like" with that ending xD
What's the auxiliary expansion port for? Like Usb dongles?
I have the n400 and its so hard to manage the cables
has no room for mounting a 240mm rad on the side due to the cables and no removable hard drive cage :(
Does it have clearance for a Noctua NH D15?Will I be able to close the side panel without interfering with the CPU cooler?
Yes i definitely read them
can you do a video about the cyberpower zeus mini?
So does this belong in the:
"Stuff that doesn't suck" series?
Because if I was building a computer for someone with only 600 dollars to spare, I might consider this case. Before, my goto case is always the source 210, but now, it might change...
Can u do a review of the Sharkoon BD28?
Will it take a full size ATX mother board? Thanks
Not bad, nice pcie slots, no dumb holes for dust to get sucked into
Just asking as a brit here, but what is a mail-in rebate?
Can you do a review on Game Daemon 6004, Mid Tower ? plz
Linus could you review the bitfenix ronin?! :D
Why are there still USB 2.0 ports around? 3.0 is backwards compatible, I really don't see a reason to still put 2.0 into anything? Are they THAT much more expensive?
"Who reads the video description anyway? Do you read the video description?" * promptly reads the video description *
Same as what you started with. . .you should have an extra 20-40$ to put into case and step up to something better alot better but still a nice case. i would grab it if it was 60$ on sale but no 140mm fan mounts kinda bothers me
Could you include what currency you're using?
i like it, its really similar to my rosewill challenger case, its budget friendly and i like the sleeper style where there's not a lot of unnecessary fancy bullshit and bright colors. much prefer to spend money on the internal stuff rather than making it all pretty and dramatic looking.
I have a BitFenix Colossus (white) and i love it :) especially with my blue LEDs
Can you please review the Razer Kraken 7.1?
I already wouldn't get it because of the meshed front panel, catches tons of dust and makes it more visible as well...
Sweet! The bigger brother of my PC's case (N400). It also looks just as sweet.
I read the description when I'm hoping to find links to sources etc
I want a LinusTechTips shirt :)
...Then buy one?
www.districtlines.com/Linus-Tech-Tips
Goodbye. I don't think they ship to my country. Or even if they do, it'll be costly as shit.
4FootTech DistrictLines is international.
4FootTech Shipping is pretty cheap, mine were sent to Australia and they didn't cost me an arm and a leg
a second before im about to go linus starts talking about tampons
what about the
NZXT SOURCE 210 ELITE WINDOW
Looks nice! Might be my next case^^
What about the Rosewill Galaxy 2? It costs 40 dollars, and looks friggin awesome!!
linus reviews cases which are sent to him, if its not sent he cant review it unless he buys it which he isnt going to do
darkmist977 Im not telling Linus, I'm telling people who are looking for budget cases -.-....
what does period mean at the end of a phrase?
Im a complete novice doing my first build. Which molex connector would I use for the fan controller on the back and where would it plug in on the MSI z97 gaming 7 MB?
Seen another video of yours showing how to change the voltage for fans on a molex adapter. I think I figured out that its a molex to 3 or 4 pin fan adapter that plugs into a fan slot on the MB. Please tell me if Im right.
