So far this has been a really interesting Podcast. I follow Liam on his Podcast channel, & have watched him talk about things that happened to him frm a young age & his father. He is such a top bloke. Thank you Ella & Liam..i look forward to part 3. X
Liam is an absolute inspiration imo. I don’t know Ella’s story but I will look it up but in general this podcast has hit me like an absolute bullet , I can’t even in begging to take in right now how many questions this has given me but also some answers and some things to really ponder on .
Followed Liam for a while now and have so much respect and admiration for him. Just found this podcast and genuinely blown away by the dynamics between you both. Unfortunately I can relate to much of this, but felt you handled the subject perfectly. I wish I’d heard this sooner.
Great interview, my mum is a narc and my dad enables - I have had to go no contact as saw my daughter being manipulated by her and come hone crying whenever she saw her. It's been very difficult and 7 years now and they are elderly (makes me feel awful as people don't understand so I look the bad guy) but my life it peaceful, no drama and my daughter is such a beautiful kind, level headed person - who when she does see her grandparents she has totally understanding of their behaviour.
Love Liam ♥️ when you've had a relationship with a narcissist, it's a game changer. Take a long time to recover and we so deserve to recover & live much better from it. I just found you, Ella, so I'll check your story out ❤
Hi Ella, I have seen your podcast with Liam and I watch his stuff from time to time. Listening to you two lovely souls with my morning coffee and I feel really understood and comforted. I have been to hell and back in my life, many times, and what you two have just said is exactly how I am with other people and how I see the world in many ways. Thank you both, for sending light and strength on this crazy journey we call life💝💝
@@TheNewMindPodcast I've just watched you in liams video, I'm totally blown away by you!!! Just hearing you speak so honestly has given me some hope, I will think of your words today 🙏💎💫❤️❤️🌟
I was told i had narcissistic tendencies because i dont automatically feel empathy for others ,I'm not cruel or dangerous, it just isn't there and i wish it was, anyway i immediately got to work on watching my behaviour around others .
You have described the tools needed but not clearly explained how to use those tools hence we're left holding those tools but still scratching our heads.
@@Cycle.every.day. as a psychotherapist, I encourage you to explore the therapists in your area who offer therapy that fits - I use EMDR (and a mixed modality approach) - so if any of the tools I’ve mentioned resonate, it’s worth exploring how you can do this safely 💜
In those days when you took a film to Boots etc to be developed they wouldn’t release any photos showing nudity. So the mere fact that the photo exists proves it was abuse because they must have gone to a special place to have it developed
I’m in a 35 year abusive marriage I can’t financially get out of, I’ve realised he is probably a narcissist, I then realised my abusive parents were both narcissistic too. I’ve no close family or any friends.

to do a lie detector to clear his name very strange

A lack of empathy definitely isn’t narcissistic. It’s a complex personality disorder and far more layered. X

Its called reactive abuse and its very common in a narcissistic relationship 😢
