Thank you Rachael! Your very educational and informative! I have had an aquariums since I was ten years old constantly. That is going on 43 years. Ive always had a fresh water community tank. And a 120 gallon tank with lionhead, Ranchu, and red cap oranda's. But in the last year Ive learned a ton of things from you I've never known. Thank you for a wonderful vlog, I also like Joey from King of DIY. You both are leaders in the industry.
I'm so glad you posted this! I needed a refresher on this. People seem CONFUSED ABOUT THE DIFFERENCE IN THE REPASHY LINE OF PRODUCTS. I've used it for all of those things. Soilent Green stinks way worse than super gold to me. But I probably stink. ♥️
Hey Rachel - I've mentioned several times previously how you have transformed the hobby for me. This video will add even more to my Pleco skills. More than anything it's just plain making me look bad. "Clompy" especially thanks you for the continued expansion of his meal choices.
Wow,how have I not seen your videos before now?!? I’m a fanatic about nutrient dense foods for myself and my animals, and don’t know very many people who can relate to my desire to keep things species appropriate and free of fillers and garbage. I feed predominantly live and frozen foods, but a grazing option that’s quick and easy for busy days is a must. In Canada it’s harder to get certain things(like repashy),but I’m going to try and get my hands on some. Very happy to have found this. Thank you🙏🏻❤️
Perfect timing! I've been trying to figure out how to add new foods into my rotation that the amanos can't run off with so my plecos can get more food. Gel foods for the win! Loving pleco month!

This is wonderful to see. I just started watching you this week. I am new to the hobby. I just got some Otocinclus. I'm worried about them because they are getting thin. I put some soilent green repashy in the tank on some rocks. The guppies are piggies and go for it right away but my Otocinclus don't touch it. Do you have any ideas on what i can feed them? I don't want to be a horrible hobbiest that lets my Otos die. Thanks!
That’s so cool, I think I’m gonna buy some of that stuff… Was thinking what if you used a bunch of different size bottle caps and let it cool inside so you have smaller caps for smaller tanks larger capslarger tanks… But thank you so much for the video . I would also think it would help if you have bigger fish in the tank that would normally eat it all and not let the little guys or grazers get a chance
Give us some examples of medication dosage mixed with food; i.e. if the package prescribes "X" for so many gallons of water, how much would you add to how much food?
This is so helpful, i am just starting my first planted tank and want to get some of these fish, totally new to it, i'd love to know what brands you recommend for tetras and apistos/rams?
For the unused repashy cubes, after putting it into the freezer to keep them. Do you have to let it thaw before you put it in the tank or can you put it in frozen for the fish?
I would love to get your thoughts and ideas on keeping Sphaerichthys vaillanti in a Species Spotlight. Looks like a tiny pleco kind of.
