When u turned around u need to add one to the left of the tan flower. Its a little loose n flappy
I felt so guilty for hating the danglers until you also said it looked bad!
I think it just covers all the flower definition! The woven in version looks so pretty I can believe it took so long to weave them all in! You’re so funny & kind spirited about it the end result really shines!

Yayyy I spotted both of my flowers! I sent 2 and I was lowkey sad that they werent used in the last project, but this one definitely made up for it!

The whole time I was mentally screaming "you need to look up Irish crochet!" Lol.your sweater came out great, but Irish crochet is a technique specifically designed to connect flower motifs into a wearable garment. You can give more space between the motifs if you want, add swirls, add mesh, etc or you can just have a bunch of flowers touching like this. It would make things much easier for your next project :) I watched a Craftsy class on it, but im sure there are videos on youtube as well.

Your sweater looks beautiful, much nicer than the designers. I'm glad you decided to weave in the spaghetti strands. If you do another project with flowers you could use green or brown yarn to make stems / vines but attach them to the outside as you go. No weaving in ends. You could style it with a neutral coloured pant or mid length skirt.

Hi Jenna! I'm French, forgive my English! I wanted to say that your videos are incredible! I love your spontaneity, your sincerity, your humor etc! You are really a safe place on youtube and each new video is a pleasure! I would like to share with you that I always observe you in the urgency of finishing a project in a week in order to do a new project as quickly as possible. And in this video you share that in fact you really work a lot and have few free evenings, ans It made me a little sad so I wanted to tell you that : if I watch your videos it's not to see the "final result", and, as part of your audience I would be totally ok with projects "to continue" over 2 or more weeks. Like the sweater you made! I say that because sometimes we really put pressure on ourselves without it being necessary, and me first! That’s why I identify with you! In fact, it's spending 20 minutes in your workshop with you that makes me personally want to see all your videos, for your vibe, your creative process, and not so much to see a finale creation, although they are great! I hope this comment can be useful to you! In any case, well done and thank you for all your work sharing on this channel: you are a real inspiration!

LOVE! Pair it with a mini skirt, lightweight almost see through tights. And some knee high boots! Perhaps a lightweight nude long sleeve shirt underneath for some contrast and extra warmth ❤😊

When you're only a sewist can't crochet or knit but you suddenly start binging Jenna's knit and crochet work just for the hell of it and then you think to yourself does she have a new vid and bam this comes up. Pure joy. Can I just say I really appreciate you investing time and effort into a free Patreon. Awesome! Even though the Stella sweater is now marked down to $5000, yours is still waaaaaay nicer.
When you made your very first crochet flower top, it inspired me to make a sweater vest out of multicolored crochet flowers. It’s a similar process with the big holes and all, but I stitched it together using the zigzag stitch on my sewing machine before adding ribbing. It’s one of my favorite things I’ve ever made !

I think I would add a couple more flowers at the bottom of the back to even out the length a bit compared to the front, but that's just my symmetrical brain acting up 😅
It turned out beautiful! ❤ Every time you pick out colors for a project I think, horrible combination and then you turn it into something so pretty. I have absolutely no clue about color combinations, I guess. 😂

I love how the sweater turned out so much ❤ I would style it with long-ish skirts and add a belt for the waist, both in dark colors, and a cross-body bag! I'm getting 60s hippie vibes from this project and it's the best❤

I agree! I don't know chit about crocheting, but I feel the multi tone rust cuffs and neckline don't go with the rest of the sweater. I think one of the reds used in the flowers would look better imo.
if you have more left over flowers maybe you can make a flower collar
Leave some fails in, it makes others more confident because they know that failing is a part of the process. We know we aren’t alone. Plus I love seeing the full process, it’s nice.

Why does weaving ends in always take longer than you think?! This is why I hate making blankets out of squares - too many ends! I have a cardigan I knitted years ago that still has one end I missed when sewing it up. Every time I wear or wash it I think 'oh yeah, I need to do that'. But we all know, it's never getting done after all this time😂

This turned out so cool!! If you're planning to do another flower project, I think it would be more flattering if you removed flowers at the bottom half so that the sweater ends closer to your waistline. & You can use the removed flowers for your next project
