There’s an older gentleman in my neighborhood with an old little basset hound. They will always match jackets whether it’s a christmas sweater, or just one to keep warm. It’s adorable.

as a quilter the idea that one of my creations might be tossed into a donation bag is horrifying. I only hope that someone like you finds it simply because they understand and love that quilt.
As a quilter, I would be horrified that someone would cut up one of my quilts to make impractical shorts out of it. What season is that good for? Quilted summer outfit? You’d sweat a lot.

Tip: use embroidery thread (you don’t have to use all 6 strands; 3 or 4 is enough) to sew buttons onto coats - much likelier to stay on for a long time.
If you still have the scraps, you should make a bag. A cute cross body bag or mini backpack would be great. Also, Walmart has some of the most comfortable pajamas. I have been in the hospital for most of this year, and I have pretty much lived in Walmart pajamas, especially their $5 nightgowns, which I used as an alternative to hospital gowns by cutting a line down the back of them.
You are so inspiring Jenna. I love how you find a project and "Just Jump In". That is what i say when im sewing something new to me. You could make dog jackets. That would be great. People spend a lot of money on dog clothes. And because you love it makes it so much better. You inspire me. I now have an official Sewing area. So when i get an idea I could try it out quickly. Thank you for being your bubbly self and bringing joy to my life. You are awesome!

This seems like something cool that you could do if you wanted to! When I saw that it made me think of you and I think it would be super cool 😎
Absolute genius. You need to install little wheels on the bottom of your doggie's paws so that when you turn him around to check the fit he moves easier 😂😂🎉

This coat is so cute. It turned out great. I wanted to tell you that I've never used math to make buttons and button holes. Oh, maybe a little measuring, for example dividing the area eaqually for the button holes. First I make the button holes and then put the sides together, put the button on the other side, hold it there while sticking a needle through it and the button holes. Lines it up perfectly. Hope that made sense. I love how daring you are to try new things. Thanks for taking us along.
Girl, idk if anyone has mentioned it but a dog rain jacket made from a quilt is just asking for mold and mildew to grow on it. Quilts are typically 100% cotton with 100% cotton batting. If he wears the coat and it rains, please lay it out to air dry and wash it immediately.
She used the rain jacket as a pattern. The quilted piece isn’t meant to be worn in the rain!

i know a few quilters that are upset with people taking old quilts and destroying them some of them are really old and worth a lot of money it might also be a very old quilt that tell us a lot about the history of quilting it could even be an antique of times gone by and can not ever be replaced

If you have a long strap, you can be a scrunchie. You just need elastic band. And their is a couple of tutorials on UA-cam.
