You should be EXTREMELY PROUD of yourself!!! What a collective effort this was…people around the world sending in handmade crochet flowers and you then creating a MASTERPIECE!!! I would definitely contact your local media to run a story on the dress…would also contact someone about records…it’s definitely a one of a kind piece. The world needs to appreciate this dress…absolutely stunning!!! Great job!!! Stay safe and be blessed ❤
The idea is great. The implementation is terrible. To ruin work of those people who sent those flowers just because she is too lazy to use proper sewing. Nothing to be proud of. I bet if she did those flowers herself, she'd take better care than f'-ing GLUE
@@elenabarskaya7127she says that she’s gonna glue them down and then sew them on right at the beginning of the video. It’s just a smarter technique and there’s nothing wrong with using glue. Dunderhead lol

You shouldn't wish in other people's place. This is a precious memory with her subscriber community. What she wants to do with him is no-one else's business or wish.
8 minutes in…Jenna, I am crying! You are really super duper talented . This is going to be in a museum! Extra flowers you say…. A bag? Something for your bed? A shawl?
A matching shawl would be amazing. Given the weight of the dress, a shawl would be appropriate to allow easier wear during cooler weather. Great job! Enjoyed watching the process.
I’ve been trying to make a jumper out of individual flowers, and I’ve just been hand sewing them together next to each other. It’s been driving my crazy because they all stretch each other out and ruin the shape of the flowers, and the weight of the jumper pulls on the flowers at the top, but I couldn’t think of how else to do it! Thank you so much for posting this because it’s such a better idea! Make a base out of cotton first, then use a machine to sew the flowers to the base! That was the pressure isn’t on the crochet pieces. I’m going to take mine apart and redo it your way, it makes so much more sense!!
Well, that turned out AMAZING didn't it?!!! 🥰 Wonderful! Maybe you need to make a small jacket or shawl out of the leftover flowers to go with the dress.
why is this giving me the vision of all white crochet flower wedding dress.... with colorful flowers along the edges of a veil... I'm not even a crochet girlie and you got me out here imagining all different kinds of creations!
some things you can make with the leftover flowers -a corset -a bag -a top (kind of sort of like the strawberry one you made maybe) -pants (i have made stuff like this before with pants and it looks so cool) -detachable sleeves that match the dress
I watched while I crocheted in rapt attention. You combined three of my all time favorite things: flowers, sewing and crochet. I adore the dress! Thank you to ALL of my fellow crocheters who sent in flowers. That warmed my heart to 400 degrees. Then the time, attention and effort to make the dress (lovely on its own) and then affix the flowers? I am floored. It is stunning! Wear it in good health. I was hearted also by the Granny square blanket on the sofa too. I am making a sweater using, you guessed it the granny square stitch. This whole series was delicious from beginning to end. My sincerest thanks. I am happy for you. Yayyyyyyyyy! Oh and I learned about clear thread and a quilt foot. Score!😊
I can imagine the excitement when they see their flower on your stunning dress Love Jack and Benson playing on the flowers. So adorable. At least you only did about 40 flowers pinning before you thought of glue. That’s super clever
No girl that’s your masterpiece. I’ve really enjoyed this series and honestly my favorite part of when you were making the lining of the dress and how impressive it’s been to see you put so much effort (into the mannequin and everything too!) thanks for your silly humour and dedication to your craft for our entertainment 🎉
Gives new meaning to the song, ‘Where have all the flowers gone.’ Brings back memories of being a teenager in the late 60’s and early 70’s. You and your viewers did a great job!
you should add flowers to the bottom till they just reach the floor, the fact that there is no backing fabric would make it look really cool and move nicely!
Wow the fruits of the labour of 700 people goes into the dress and she gets to wear this beautiful. What a great idea everyone should do this. Fast,,cheap and it gets done by the wearer.
Lovely dress. It turned out really well. With the leftover flowers you could make a wall hanging like those moss latchhook ones but with the flowers instead.😊
It looks soooo expensive, I love how the flowers made the skirt hold a shape almost like horsehair braid! This would be such a wonderful long term project you can do with scrap yarn; just crochet flowers with whatever you have left and one day put them all on a dress or something else!!
I am so happy! This dress is so beautiful and i saw one of my flowers :D I love how different everyone was able to make the flowers and it still looks so cohesive somehow. The dress turned out so awesome
It sounded like a crazy idea, but the dress is incredible! You are so tenacious to complete such an intricate project. Definite 10 out 10! Yay, Jana! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
Wow this turned out beautiful!! Loved this series :) you should make some throw pillows with the rest of the flowers to decorate the new apartment and so you can see them all the time!
OMG I've literally been so excited for this video!!!!! You're one of my comfort UA-camrs; I love watching your videos while I crochet! It makes me feel like I have a little fiber arts buddy
Beautiful! Ideas for More: An EXTENSION to make the dress FLOOR LENGTH would be amazing-it has so much pizzaz that it warrants a full ball gown version, I think! UA-camr ShannonMakes (I think her name is) invented an awesome extendable skirt panel hack that would be great here! Also, for when it’s shorter like now, I think a matching BIG FLOPPY HAT would be super cute! Gorgeous work everyone, to the community flower-makers and to Jenna!
Jenna, you are always challenging yourself to be better, and your persistence is something to be proud of! This dress is a one of a kind masterpiece and belongs in the Museum of Modern Art.

this is one of the best crochet projects ever! you included your community and make it very special because of that! just one question-how are your plans when it comes to washing the dress especially when there are so many flowers out of different materials. is there a way to clean it properly without damaging the more delicate fibers?
Probably best is to hand wash it in cool water and hang it to dry with a towel on the inside or lay flat with a towel just in case the dye on any of the yarns isn't colorfast. Reds, Purples, and blues can tend to bleed. I don't know if she prewashed the flowers but I would probably just to make sure there is no dye transfer. She could use a few of the fabric color collector sheets in the sink just in case.
I'm not one who sent flowers since I discovered you shortly after it all began. With 700+ flowers to deal with, I at first felt happy for the love sent and then badly that you had to make a dress with them all. Well, Sweetheart...YOU DID IT! And my oh my, it's a masterpiece. you could make a matching bag with the leftover flowers!!
Yes! Exactly what I've been thinking! Would love to see that
Tote bag would be so cool
I 100% back this idea. Sewing the rest of the flowers onto a canvas totebag would be soooo good!
I was going to suggest that too. I would be amazing.
Yes!!! That's what I was gonna say also!
Proud to say I made the ✨armpit flower✨
