I got all sweaty when I heard my name! I appreciate the love 😁 - I'm just one of the many artists you inspire every day. Kinda crazy how we all just evolve right here and document it for all to watch and join along. Much love from Brooklyn & long live the Uncle Jesse Empire! 👑💪🏾🎨
Absolutely LOVE Nomad Sculpt. My computer is a potato and could never sculpt using Blender or work on high-poly meshes. Now I can do the base work in Blender and retopo/remesh then sculpt in Nomad. I use the android version.
Tbh a quad-core PC can easily sculpt. I ran Zbrush on a 10 year old laptop with a quad core it CPU (GPU doesn't matter u til you are trying to render). Vertex sculpting is calculated using compute and Zbrush is a fairly light program :)
I love Nomad. I think your channel is where I heard about it. Thank you! I started with zbrush and I love it as well, but Nomad is so convenient that it has become my go to.
Thanks for the insightful video on learning 3D modeling, Uncle Jessy! Nomad Sculpt is indeed a fantastic tool, and it's awesome to see it highlighted here. It would be incredible to one day be recognized alongside those big-name channels you mentioned, sharing tutorials and insights on Nomad Sculpt. Maybe one day our paths will cross in the world of 3D modeling!
That is Sara Dietschy's iPad stand that she released along with Lab 22 - I LOVE IT! Magnetic and heavy and can be standing/flat/angled etc. Amazing for my desk setup
i started with blender and never really got into it... everytime i had longer brakes i forgot everthing... then i got me nomadsculpt and i kind of really got better with any 3d software lol im not very good but i understand it better..
If you have a Skillshare subscription, Dave Reed’s courses are on there, might save money vs buying them individually on Udemy. Unless you prefer the pay to own.
From personal experience, Nomad is easier to learn and slightly easier to use. Blender has more options available, but you also need more processing power. Both have their uses and both can be used together, I will send my file from Blender to Nomad for refinement. The difficulty I had was location(s) and workflow. Since it is a different program things were located in different locations, names, or there were ways to achieve similar results using different techniques. I would highly recommend Nomad, it is a "watered down Z-brush" as some have described it as, and it just works, well.
Hi Uncle Jessy, i am Runjie W. Sorry to contact you like this, not sure how to reach you as i tried emailing and heard nothing back. I won the elegoo giveaway from your live stream more than a months ago, but to this day elegoo haven't sent the wash and curing station. i have been in constant email exchange with them for the last months but they keep making up excuses why they haven't sent it, saying they too busy in june and keep saying we will sent it by next week ofcourse no luck unfortunately. Nothing against you or anything but from this experience it doesn't appear they are willing to send the giveaway items they promising. Also love your videos keep up with the great work you are the reason why i got into resin printing!!!!
There's no easy way, if it was, everyone would be doing it. 3D sculpting (which is different from basic 3D poly modeling) is the perfect blend between talent and skill and technical ability. I went to school for it, Im not saying everyone should and I'm not saying it's impossible to learn otherwise, but no matter what you do, it won't just be easy. Take that and try to make realistic characters and now that difficulty curve increases, as you are now studying form, anatomy, proportions and dymamic posing.

It is a great and useful video, thank you so much for sharing.❤
I work a lot with reverse engineering 3d scans, will nomad be effective for mesh modelling 3d scan data ?
Where can you find the 3D head model from Nomad and how would you recommend sizing it to match yourself?
Where is the iPad stand from? I haven’t seen one like that before looks helpful
That is Sara Dietschy's iPad stand that she released along with Lab 22 - I LOVE IT! Magnetic and heavy and can be standing/flat/angled etc. Amazing for my desk setup

I love to see you trying to do Electroplating some of your prints like that sword vlog we both watched
Is sending prints over wifi better than using a USB stick? I know when sending over wifi came out and there were issues/concerns about it.

This was cool ty
What happened to the huge magneto print?
I really wish they would make a Windows version for the Surface Pro tablets! :(
What pen do you use to sculpt?
Pineapple pen
Chisel pen 🪛 ⛏
I'm 34 years old is it too late for me to learn 3d sculpting? 🤔
Nope, I’m 42 and I started to learn 3d 5 years ago. I got a level enough to work in the video game industry.
I’m 32 and about to start as well 😂
2:15 it’s korok (Ko-Rock)
looks much eaiser and natural than blender
It's really dang fun to play around with and easy to use and navigate with the touch screen interface.
Blender easy though idk wym totally didn’t take me 3 years

You scan the face so you can make a mask that fits your face 😑 next you reduce the nose pyramid size so it wouldn't fit your face 😂 😂
open source.
do any packages apply

A more App title (see what I did there?) would be, "5 Ways to Learn Nomad Sculpt".
BTW, it's pronounced 'Ko-Rock' lol
This is a commercial. Don’t fall for the hype
3D Sculpting*
Not modeling
Sculpting is a type of modeling
Leaving half a burger on the plate is equal to sculpting 😂

Need to throw out @originalwerks as well! Super easy to follow beginner walkthroughs. I’ve learned a lot from him.
Much appreciated will check them out!
Just subscribbed thanks!
I love nomad so much I haven't learned blender yet. 🥲
