- Went to first drag event of 2023. Changes made to the ISF since the November 2022 11.50 ET passes were HighSpark IgnitionCoil Japan Premium coilpacks, Summit Racing Non-Glycol coolant, redline raised to 7600 and HPS radiator hoses.

I would say at the current power, it's more than capable. Just need some sort of launch control to help get that 60' down.

Yep it's all about the 60Ft. The F needs some launch control or line lock.

That gearbox is banging gears like crazy, I know they have very quick shifts stock but yours seems to not have any delay from pressing the paddle to the actual shift which seems to be a thing on the stock car, was that done with TCU tune? Amazing stuff!

Nice ride! Reading through your mods and was wondering what your favorite / most impactful one would be? I guess best money spent type deal. I’m thinking about headers/ tune and the carbon fiber driveshaft. Any insight would be awesome. Thanks
You hit it on the spot. PPE headers, Sikky CF driveshaft and Loi tune I would definitely recommend. Power, acceleration quickness and custom ecu tcu tune is the ticket.

I have 09 FBO except the tune and carbon drive shaft on stock differential. If I get the carbon drive shaft and the tune, do you think the GS450h diff is still needed to break into 11s?
@@newhan4914depending on what the DA is where you live at I'd say not at all. You don't need the driveshaft to hit 11's either. FBO Tuned, remove rear seats and passenger seat, remove spare tire and jack/tools, and a nice lightweight drag pack with a 17" mickey on the rear should be 11s alllll day long IF your DA is sea level. If you're in the mountains/live in an area where the DA is high it'll probably take more than that.

I have the sikky cf drive shaft and I have chatter in the shifter, especially in corners and hard throttle. Did you experience this?

So the GS450h diff and the new Loi ECU+TCU Tune shifting at 7500rpm allows for 121mph at the top of 5th?
Awesome! You need to look into how we can run an rcf intake manifold and throttle body or some type of shorter runner intake manifold

Honestly I would have been expecting one of these to be able to break 10’s by now but I’m assuming that is based on gearing and limited tuning abilities! Still quick tho!
It's because you can't get a converter for them to launch hard. That's the only reason we haven't seen a 10 secon n/a F. It has the trap speed, it's just the 60ft. If there was a way to line lock these to launch at like 3500-4k rpm, then I bet we'd see a 10 second pass. That's just my theory on the situation!
