I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Sammy and Michael should take a flyer on Satriani and instead add Nuno for their VH tribute tour. NO ONE on the planet comes close to playing Eddie as does Nuno.

That drumming sequence underscores why Nuno is so damn good at rhythm as well as being a monster on solos. And yeah, as much as I like Satch, Nuno has the better groove chops for Eddie's swing
I'd like to see a Nuno Bettencourt solo album featuring him as himself. His solo album back in the day was crap. It didn't sound like Nuno at all. It, to me, sounded like he was trying to do grunge. Him covering Billy Joel? Awesome!
"Is this the whole set?" I included all seven songs Nuno did -- though I missed the beginnings of 1 and 3. I also included Nuno's amazing between-songs Eddie Van Halen bits . I wish he'd just done these full solos -- his Eddie technique is absolutely awesome!
...and then the karate kid showed up and bowed down to that mothertrucker!!!! ...thinking he could outgtr anybody that resembles the ToxicTwins ONCE UPON A TIME

You've probably heard Skizophonic, but if not, it's absolutely outstanding.
He wrote everything, arranged & played most of the instruments himself.
