Hi! I’m so glad you love my videos 😊. Thank you for watching and teaching me “pisto”. I’ve never known it. In the future, I’ll try to make Spanish food🇪🇸
This looks absolutely stunning 👑 Peti’s tip: next time, try to sprinkle the sliced eggplant with salt 30 min before stir frying and drain/ squeeze them - like you would with cucumber when making sumonomu. They’ll lose quite some water, get sweeter and very crunchy!
a chef of many talents! if you ever get in the mood to do something from Argentina, try Locro, a heavy corn stew of native origin, with many local variants all along the Andes mountain range, it's a lot of work though :)
Thank you for teaching me! I've just watched how to make Locro on UA-cam! It looks very delicious:0 In that video, beaf, pork and some sausages were added to Locro. Are everything essential for Locro? I'd like to try to make it!
@@kyodokan.japanese.cuisine glad you find it interesting! the traditional basic Locro goes with pork's trotters and cow tripe, but you can choose to add the ones you like the most or are easier to find. We usually eat it in winter, specially in the National Holidays, May 25th and July 9th.
Thank you for teaching me in detail. I'll look for these. Oh, now is the best season in Argentina. In Japan we can't get white cone in winter, so I'll make it in summer. I'm sure that taste is really good for japanese!
Hi Ryusei ! I'm very happy to see you cook a dish from my country 😊 I think ratatouille is one of the most popular recipes in French families, everyone has its own variation! For example I don't put bellpeppers but many other people do 😊 I think you did a great job ! It's important to cook vegetables separately so you can taste each one at the end. I like to grill the zucchini and eggplant a bit more than you did, the taste is amazing this way 😊 also you should try to use thyme in your ratatouille! It is usually used and it's one of the most famous herbs in the south of France, when added to the dish you can really feel like you eat the south of France! Great video, continue the good work !
Thank you for teaching me in detail😁! Your information is really helpful! Next time, I'll definitely try in your way, grill zucchini and eggplant more and add thyme! And I'm very glad you said that😊. French food is so loved in Japan and I'll try other food and make a video in the future!!
Konbanwa Ryusei! That was a unique recipe for me on how to make ratatouille. I usually use a mandolin to thinly slice the egg plant, zucchini, and yellow summer squash then arrange them like coins in alternating colors. Next I spread the sauce on top and make a few layers. Stir frying and simmering all the ingredients similar to a stew is much easier! Thank you for teaching this technique! I will have to try it this fall when those vegetables are ready to harvest. Domo arigato! :D
Konbanwa! I’m happy my way is interesting for you! Actually I saw your way in the internet, but it’s a little hard for me, because I’m beginner to make French. So, I practiced only this way. However ratatouille made in your way is very beautiful!! In the future, I’ll try to make ratatouille in your way too:) Domi Arigato!!
Amazing as always, Ryusei-San! It´s interesting to see you cook dishes from other countries. Do you plan on cooking other dishes from other countries as well?
Funnily enough I have never had ratatouille before, but I make something a little more basic, but very similar. I'll have to give this a go! I hope you eventually get to visit France!
Hi Ryusei love your videos. I'm from Spain and we call it "pisto" :)
