Only Boris could turn liquid cooling a pc and accidentally frying the Mobo with said liquid into a full 10 minute video and not make it boring. What can we say? Vodka is just fun like that.
hardly. it's plain stupid and was 100% bound to fail. and this is the same guy who a few weeks ago was saying how poor he was and begging for money.
for what? to do this shit? what a joke
Agreed
LTT too... Jaystwocents too... Gamers Nexus too...
I wonder if he tried removing the cpu and drying the socket out first lol?
Spoilers
Unintentionally frying the CPU in just a couple hours of filming. That must be a new record.
*days of filming
The fact that Boris had to sell the original Vodka Cooled PC will forever haunt our conscience. Let’s help to bring it back! Cheeki Breeki!
All hail the Shashlik King! Boris you have a calling, as a true Super Slav you must build the vodka PC 3.0. I don’t know if the world is ready. Stay cheeki breeki.
after over two weeks Boris returned, without disappointing us stay cheeki breeki Boris we love you
100% slavic
I love your ruv pfp bro
@@usarolls6008 thank you!
No way the slav king is kind enough to share with us the ultimate slav gaming PC... Godspeed, Slav King...
He ain't king, we all slavs are, but only he's allowed out of the zoo

One note: even without spilling vodka coolant all over the PC, sub-ambient cooling is risky. You're going to get condensation all around the CPU which will lead to a dead motherboard if you don't add a lot of insulation around the block and conformal coating to the board.
Well his last vodka cooled pc ran for a long time and without any (reported) problems
@@TeenPerspektiva That one was cooled with a radiator, and a radiator cooled with room temperature air won't get cooler than the air in the room. Evaporation happens if the coolant is below ambient, without a chiller the vodka won't get cooler than ambient temperature.
@@ossiantansley6583 huh guess i remember something wrong, i thought he later put the vodka bottle in the fridge for the first build aswell.
@@TeenPerspektiva that's not impossible. The thing is, a PC makes a lot of heat and a liter of vodka doesn't have much heat capacity. So if it were a dry day it might not have enough time to make much condensation before the liquid was back up to ambient. Which makes it very pointless because you are risking damaging your computer for all of 20 minutes of super-cooling
@@TeenPerspektiva What he did was place the vodka bottle into the freezer/fridge, but then take out the cool/cold liquid and pour it into the reservoir to use it as coolant - so better result only for a while.
I need to see this. I had imagined something of this sort years ago, but instead of the freezer, i just thought of using an old soviet heater (the cast iron ones), some piping and probably an electric waterpump.
This is when you realize the real Boris has returned
"nobody is boris. but boris."
Not gunna happen. The quality of viewer has dropped drastically since then.
The content that is the most popular right now is McDonalds content. High volume low quality. Boris would hate himself making that content.
Dont believe me? Go look at all his videos hes posted about quitting UA-cam. People like videos that feel like drama.
He can make a "I'm quitting UA-cam video" which literally has no creative content, and get a million views. He can make a creative video or one with animation that took weeks and it will pull in like 100k views.
The algorithm rewards McDonalds and tittok content.
He could literally make a living making videos about quitting UA-cam because people are dumb.
@@hardbrocklife Maybe you're right, or maybe this is the beginning of his return, only time will tell
@@RTankist what do you mean "His return"? He's already returned and his quality is excellent. You can't change peoples taste in content. The only thing you can change is your own expectations.
@@hardbrocklife People are stupid. Film at 11.
All that is need now is a vodka powered security system to scare away Vadim

Good luck Boris, do what needs to be done, hope this helps a bit :)
I didn't read the title of the video, so when the small accident happened, I yelled out loud. Good luck with the ongoing build.
Been a fan of this channel for a long time. I hope these newer ones still pull the same amount of viewers the older ones did.
It's getting 100 likes and 250 views per minute right now

It is sad to see how a great content creator like Boris is made a victim of the algorithm.
Sadly there are more excellent youtubers that dont get the attention they deserve. People like Captain Disillusion for example

Brooo me too cuz i was watching hella vids on building PCs and it js popped up
You need this more than my potato desktop does, bratan. You do things most of us can only dream about, and this is one of them.
А как донат отправить? о_О
Love you Boris! Glad to see Vodka cooled pc V2! Been watching you for ever and love every second of it! Keep up the great work!!
He returned when the world needed him most
I soooo want to see this work!! Thanks!
Let's see the experiment succeed!
Wow so unfortunate Boris! But one important hint when it comes to pc watercooling reservoirs. You need to connect the in and out tubing from the bottom. This is very important or else the air will always rund back into the top tube. And also you will always have a small noisy waterfall in the system.
Only if the connections on the reservoir are on the bottom the air will get trapped inside the reservoir as it should.
The best bit about Boris’s vodka computer series is how sketchy it all looks. Slav engineering. Zaebis.
Thank you for prime slav entertainment, now only like another $50 until you can afford a budget am4 motherboard 😅
This needs to become a series! Or at very least a yearly competition between PC builders & channels to make the best vodka-cooled PC possible. Awards will be given for best performance, lowest cost build, most gopnik aesthetic, and of course, mayonnaise. Still cheeki breeki after all these years! You are the best, Boris.
I am happy to donate to be part of Vodka Cooled PC 2.0.

Had a small existential crisis when I saw the original vodka PC video is 5 years old now. Feels like yesterday I was in middle school laughing at Boris videos late into the night learning funny Russian words to share with my friends
literally thought the same, i could swear it was just yesterday
how has it been half a decade & how am i about to turn 25 soon
damn
Youll have tons more of those to look forward to. 30 35 and 40 are particularly enjoyable
The computer must be cooled! Thanks Boris!
I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who does shit like that lol. That’s some sour luck bud. Hopefully this will help
Great to see the new and improved vodka cooled PC!
Thank you Boris for making me laugh every new video you make. Keep up the great work and say "miaooooouuu" (not sure how to spell it) to Artyom from me.
this video look like my lesson of Technologic Développement as i remember it XD
Glad you still here Boris

Sad to hear the original vodka cooled PC had to go, excited to see what this bad boy will put out!
Only a Genius Like Boris can do something as brilliant as this
I hope that video will be Worth the money you spend on it but even if not it is just a great video blin
Great video as always, Slav King Boris. Keep going comrade, this is only a minor setback! With a little more Slav ingenuity, you will soon have the Vodka-cooled PC up and running Metro: Exodus, CS:GO etc. at hundreds of FPS. Hope this will help! Stay cheeki-breeki! :D
Lol!! I did the same thing with a mini freezer back in like 2006!! AIO units were not super available, so I got a Thermaltake water block for my CPU and modified their "Tide Water" GPU cooler and used copper pipe into a motorcycle radiator inside a mini freezer. I was getting crazy OCs with it and managed to push my build out another year. In fact it was the first build I played STALKER on! It was amazing!
We need Tetris benchmark!
"Death by Vodka" is an honorable Slavic death. RIP ☠️
Damn thats sad how it ended... Got no money to support but rooting for it to get finished.
This was yet another certified Boris banger.
Here is a little bit of money towards next vodka cooled PC. I think you should make it as powerful as possible. Also if I can make a recommendation as to the design. You need to add a second pump to the tank side. The vodka at freezer temperature gets too thiCCC. Also maybe consider vehicle fuel pump or pool pump to handle the load.
Oh my fucking god, when I thought anything could make my day be a good day... Suddenly my brother Boris uploads a video.
Stay Chiki Briki from Seville Spain
As a fan of the original Vodka Cooled Pc ( It was a good Stalker ) i can say that this is surely the best Pc i've seen.
Run the tubing through some loops against the sides of the freezer before sending it into the bottle. More surface area = more cooling! And, if you need more power, try a fish-pond pump. Test it outside the case though first blyat!
Welcome Back, Shashilisk Slayer. Have some of my paycheck for this great video
100 dollars is crazy
Building the reservoir inside a freezer might just be a million dollar idea!
Did it back in the 90s with my K6 it works to a degree but over time the little freezer can't keep up. It did keep it chugging along till 2006 though when over clocking it any more to play modern games didn't work.... Then I made another hilarious monstrosity for way too much... But that is another story.
Freezers and refrigerators are meant to keep things cold. They do not adjust temperature quickly. It takes a warm freezer a long time to cool down, and it would heat quickly. It’s not really a workable idea.
@@CasperInkyMagoo Yep, running it through a cold water dispenser would be more effective, since those are actually designed to quickly cool down liquid
not really. that's basically the same as putting your radiator inside thermally insulated box because most freezers can't really cool hundreds of watts of heat but to be fair if you only game like an hour it might be fine because it takes kinda long time to heat large amounts of water.
To add to what others have said, cooling down air is very easy, cooling down a liquid is very difficult. You'd be better off running it all into a high quality beer cooler and toss ice into it. Put a cheap fish tank pump into it so you can easily remove the warm water into buckets. Definitely not ideal but this isn't either. I guess as long as you always stopped gaming once the vodka reached 50 degrees or so it would give you a couple hours of very chilly cooling once a day.
Good to see the vodka PC back! I was sad when you told us it was sold. Your step by step process is solid. Might be worth wiping the components down with some Isopropyl alcohol to wipe off any residue. Also re-seat your RAM.... seriously that fixes everything.
I have a feeling that the cpu moved when he removed the cooler and that needs to be re-seated. Sometimes thermal paste can hold those coolers on there pretty good especially if it's been there for a while
Still delivering awesome videos Boris, we truly love you and your work ! ❤️
I'm just happy that I get to see your videos again. Thank you for putting in so much hard work for us.
Just like the Tu-22. Cold War supersonic bomber (1st one to serve with the Soviets actually), used 40% ethanol as the coolant for the crew cabin. Ground crews often drank it.
The funny part is that the Soviets probably reduced ethanol content to prevent the crews from drinking it and getting obliterated. The US Navy used to fuel their torpedoes in WW2 with 180 proof (90%) alcohol fuel. This more or less caused the sailors and submariners to at best hijack torpedo fuel depots and drain it, and at worse drain it from storage while at sea. Met an old WW2 salt who told me he used to drain them into a barrel and huck tinned fruit in it until they dumped some kind of poison into it that could cause you to go blind, and then got pissed the Pacific guys figured out how to distill the spiked chemicals out and didn't pass the knowledge to Atlantic fleet.
I love how Vadim still gets the blame for anything that goes missing in Boris' luxury high rise apartment😂
4:06 That is one really cool watch
thank you for the many years of entertainment Boris, since early days ive found your commentary and production truly unmatched in the creations space. The first Vodka PC video has always been one of my favourites, and me and my partner are keen to see what comes next! Keep up the fantastic work.

Can't explain how happy I was when I saw this video in my youtube feed! Hopefully you can make the Vodka cooled pc 3.0 soon! haha Great video Boris!
I love how it genuinely works better then most water cooled pcs ☠️
It in fact, does not.
Bro didn’t watch the vid
Bro has never seen a working watercooled pc
Video released 25 minutes ago with a comment 23 minutes ago? Hmm
fucking clown
Outstanding job either way!
Love the new intro. Very fast, such Slav.
If you flipped that rear fan you have as intake i think it would also help the thermals.
I'd try reseating the CPU. That looked like a stock AMD air cooler, and they can have issues with tightening sequences. Go too tight on one side and they'll throw all kinds of random CPU errors. Same is true of Intel, but AMD especially seem susceptible to it, and rushing to record and test can lead to hasty screwing
I love the new intro Boris! Also daaanng Artyom you've gotten big.
Really cool video Boris!!
Great video! So sorry the experiment was interrupted due to unexpected results and lack of funding 😅 After I get done paying my bills this month, I will try to toss a few coins to the Boris, because I really want to see Vodka PC 2.0 succeed! Thanks for publishing the video even though the results weren’t ideal!
Boris I've seen pc's survive worse which has me wondering if it's possible the cpu is just making a bad connection. You may have done this already but I'd try removing the CPU and reinstalling it.
What a video! I remember when the first version came out and I was so surprised it worked! Now it's time for version 2 and I was not disappointed! Sucks about the accident and not being able to complete the build but still a great video Boris!
Feels nice to see this Boris kind of videos
Our mind can rest a bit now that we know that a vodka cooled pc exists again
Does it tho?
@@speedywayne7700don't make me cry like that 😭😂
Koskenkorva is indeed, not vodka (because of the added sugar). But the EU decided some time ago that "it is vodka" because it's over 37,5% ABV, so it's also labeled as such internationally, in both Finnish and Swedish it's just "booze" or "spirit".
Also TORILLE
yooooo the legend is back with another legendary video!
:D
I really hope you blow up again and start getting more attention, 100K views per video over the span of a few months is sad considering the great content you make, ive been following since the tea factory and wish you the best Boris, great video! ❤
holy shit i just rewatched the original one for old times sake a few minutes ago and you came out with this, the slav king never fails to provide,
