Here in Germany there's a saying 'Das höchste Glück der Erde liegt auf dem Rücken der Pferde.', meaning 'The highest luck on earth is on the back of a horse.' and I can definetly see where this is coming from... Looks like heaven out there and I'm thankful to get a little glimpse into this. Also congrats man! You absolutely deserve the success on here!
Gut gesagt!
Sehr passend!
Hm, kannte ich garnicht. Aber hast recht. 🤝
I tell my family that all the time. It truly is so. The happiest time of my life is on the back of a horse. My phone won't let me say it in German which I can do. Too bad because I love the German language second only to my native English.
a German fellow!
Schön zu sehen, das noch viel mehr Menschen aus der ganzen Welt diesen weisen Mann schauen!
My horse died on January 3rd. He was my friend for 22 years. He came to live with me when he was 2. I never had a better friend. My heart hurts so bad i can't even begin to put it into words. I shared the sunrise with him everyday. I would whistle, he would nicker. I got horse kisses and we leaned foreheads every day. Everyday for 22 years. I miss my friend.
I’m sorry for your loss❤
@@SailorJerritheDogTrainer thank you Mr. Jerry.
So sorry, I miss my old horse too, we were together for 24 years, I got him when I was 9.
@jessepitt hey jesse... I'm so sorry for your loss. I feel your pain. This morning the sunrise was spectacular. It was kind of empty without Fatty there to share it with me. You know those really deep rumbles a horse makes that are just barely audible... you see his nose quivering more than you hear him... I would whisper to him and he whispered back. After he got old, he would still come thundering around the barn and skid to a stop. He used to really buck it out then but when the years began to creep up on us he would still shake his head, mane flying and bucking it up but his feet were only coming a few inches off the ground... I would laugh and yell at him, "rodeo boy! Rodeo!" Oh, he would put on a show! Then he would wheel around his eyes all sparking and just a grinning.... he was a sight! I miss him... a lot.
🙏🙏🙏
I think people in this modern age, many of whom live in cities, love the idea of experiencing a simple life with a horse, in beautiful open country, sleeping out in the open under the stars, or relaxing with easy companions around a campfire watching the licking flames. I started watching your channel because of the horse content and am pleased you consider it important to continue that. Combining that, and your philosophical views of life, with more riding in that glorious country or even taking us along with you on an overnight camping trip would be absolutely amazing.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!🎉 You deserve every bit of it good Sir! Bravo!!
Dwayne, congratulations on the first M! 🔥
Everyone receives according to the value provided to others, and your stories are making a fork in the history of the world. The blessings will keep coming. Greetings to Mama; we all know this could not be possible without her.
CONGRATULATIONS on a MILLION subs !
Beautiful country , best wishes for plenty more enjoyable rides , and videos .
I'm so blessed by the Lord to get to call WYOMING home. 🙏😇
I’m in Montana, but I like Wyoming. Too many people moving here.
i used to live near where this video was filmed and i miss it everyday. quiet, vast and clean! what a home!
Thanks so much for the ride!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🕊️🕊️🕊️❤️❤️❤️
Hello Sir, this is my idea of heaven. I pray one day I get to do this..
As a kid I spent my summer(s) on my Grandfather's 800 acre farm in ND.
Those cows and post/wire fence bring back the best memories of my life. 🤠
Congratulations Dewayne on 1m!! And I gotta say I really loved seeing you out riding I would love to see some future videos like this!
I enjoyed the video and smiled when you said your Kentucky grandfather was a great storyteller. My grandfather who was born in the 1890’s in Kentucky was the same way. You just had to get him started and he would fascinate us with stories of growing up there in the horse and buggy era. I didn’t get that gift but I can sure appreciate it! Congratulations on your subscribers.
Wyoming is absolutely beautiful. Congrats Mr. Noel on 1M subscribers.
Great seeing videos of being out and about on the horses.
It is great to see the two of you in the same video. I hope you make more of these.
Congratulations Dry Creek Wrangler School, on reaching 1 million subscribers!
I'd love to live there. It's beautiful. I strive to be like you one day in regards to your calm demeanor.
Pete is quite funny on how he was talking to the cows. On the other hand; congrats Dewayne! You two made a good team on this day.👍🏻😁 I’’d much rather watch you guys doing these things than all of the various nonsense happening in the world.
Dewayne is a great wise man who tells the truth no matter what. Tough love but it's enough love to give in order to get his point across. I was once hardheaded and held my head up high as if I knew it all until life failed me big time. I dusted myself off and got back up all with the thanks to Dewayne for posting a video about Dry Creek Wrangler School. Some of us don't have family who have livestock anymore and it was nice to ride along with Dewayne. Thanks Bud and appreciate the advice anytime!
This is so awesome. I wish I could be there too
I tell you what, y’all two men diffidently compliment each other.. Such a blessing watching the younger and just a bit older generation working and conversing with each other. Dewayne I hope you don’t take it wrong by saying your a bit older generation. Because I’m the same age as you. I appreciate the video. Thanks so much.
Congrats Dewayne. Thank you for all you’ve done for all of us, and keep going!
I live in Lexington, Ky. We have a slew of OTTB’s (Off the track thoroughbred.) I’ve been very impressed by them and their versatility. You do have examine their legs, but by the time they are off the track, any problems come to light. I grew up in Laramie. 😊
Love to him doin what he loves most.
I love the horse content. I have learned so much more from you with western and horses from you. Thank you. Keep doing this
Congratulations ☀️🙌on your Success 👏🎊🍾🎉🎈 a Million Subscribers Blessings 🦍❤️🤴🏻👑
Dewayne, I'd never given it much thought before, but I think you might have something there when it comes to duns. I've run a pack string now for over 30 years and will normally ride a mare to lead the string of mules. My current mare is a 14.2-hand quarter horse dun with all the primitive markings, i.e. dorsal stripe and stripes on the legs. Yep, she's definitely an independent thinker with a mind of her own. Don't get me wrong...she's a great little horse and tougher than boiled owl. With her independent nature, she's a perfect horse to lead the string. Never thought that much of those tendencies could be linked to the early Spanish barbs, but it makes sense. I learn something new everyday. Thanks.
I used to work by meeteetse, WY. Hated when the neighbor cows came over. It was on a huge ranch. I hated it! 😅 Not only was it hard work, but there was a lot of responsibility.
I bought a red Dunn in Meeteetse and could never get the buck out of him. My wife used a TB on the ranch and that mare could run circles around those quarter horses.
The ranch I was on was mountainous, tough riding! I don't want to watch anymore, reminds me of hard work, freezing cold and low pay!
Congratulations Dewayne on One Million.
Some people are so lucky to go and work. I’m stuck in knee deep mud. Lol
Thanks for sharing. The Wyoming Way Pete.
Dwayne loves telling stories and we love listening!
i ve loved everything I saw in this video, do more please =))
Can’t wait for the book Dewayne!
Congratulation to you and momma on the million Dewayne!!! It was bound to happen with the video's you folks are making for the young people out there. Be safe and enjoy this warm winter we're having here in northern Wyoming!
This guy Reminds me of Carl Slade from ghost rider. Congratulations on one million!❤
Dewayne and momma will be at 2 million so soon :) they deserve it
Looks beautiful there. My wife and I are considering emigrating from Scotland.
Beautiful in Wyoming, as in Scotland. Wyoming is a state with quite few people, many prefer kind of old style living. Ranchers, farmers. Possible quite big contrast to Scotland when it comes to lifestyle and culture, likely got a more 'modern lifstyle' in Scotland, at least near the bigger cities
Makes me wish I was there. Hope we see more videos like this mixed into the bunch in the future, even if they're few and far in between, it's a nice addition!
Beautiful country out there for sure! I'll give you a click my friend...
It’s awesome seeing Dewayne in his environment
Pretty wild to come here and see 1 million subs! Congrats and nice work.
Enjoyed this video. Neighbor helping neighbor. Thanks for sharing and upholding the ranching lifestyle
Nice to realize, that even professionals can not predict how the ride will go, I thought only me is so careful with my horses, too careful I must admit...😅
Congratulations Dewayne 🎉 🥰 and enjoyed listening to you both while riding.
Just a gentle tip of the hat to gentle cowboy; hit that big number and celebrate it doing what you love on Pete’s channel. Who knew, other than real people?

Congratulations Dewayne on 1 million! Keep up the good work.
I’ve never ridden a horse and honestly I’d probably be scared to interact with one right off the bat but dang I love them at the same time one day I will learn how to ride them and hopefully get one myself
I can’t explain why this video makes me so happy. But it does. Congratulations on your first of many millions subscribers good sir 😊
You might give people the impression that wrangling is EASY lol
Good work, this was a fun ride-along!
Hello Dewayne and Momma, my wife and I just spent 10 days in the Bighorn national forest area a few weeks ago. We were there just to visit Wyoming and it was our 27th wedding anniversary. I had not been to the state in 25 years or so. Stayed in the outskirts of Sheridan and drove all over the countryside taking in Gods handiwork. Did some great hiking in the mountains. I come back to CT and your on my UA-cam feed, not sure how. I have been going through all your videos and really learn from your wisdom and calmness. May God continue to bless you and your family. Who knows maybe you can get me on a horse some day, it’s been 30 years or more😂
I have a stout smaller throughbred too!!! He can do anything. He’s kinda like an Appendix! Man that guy will GO. But he can turn tight, stop quick, and he’s hardier than the leggier thoroughbreds. Congrats on a million from Kansas!! We sure do appreciate your stories and mentoring ❤❤❤
Congrats! And, this is a great way to celebrate. 👍👍
(Why do I feel as though I was born a few thousand miles too far east??) 😊
Congratulations DeWayne on 1 Mil., that's a great milestone. Thanks for all the content you put on here. It keeps the desire to ride again fresh. One day after all the craziness of moving settles down. Keep up the solid work. God Bless
BISCUIT!!!! Simply wonderful, I really enjoyed this. Thank you so much for sharing guys, and Mama's 😉
Beautiful looking day great team together . Love the 2 trucks . Wish there were more trees 🌲 there 🌲🌲🌲keep up all the good work yous do .👍🏻🇦🇺.
Awesome video guys👍👍👍
I'm so jealous of you too. I haven't worked cow's on horseback in over 30 yrs. Your back drop reminds me of the ranches I've been on, makes me homesick for the old day's 😢.
Thanks for bringing us along for the ride & chat. Never knew that about lighting cigars either, good knowledge. 🙏🥰😁
Congrats, you found your calling, again.
Thank You for awesome movie.Greetings from Poland, CE.

I'm real looking forward for the book
Enjoyed it!!
I love the philosophical videos (as you put it) but I also absolutely loved this video.
Felt like being out there with you guys.
I must admit, when the video first started and it wasn't you (Dewayne) I was abit like, eh? Who's this fella? But he was a likeable guy, particularly liked the part where he was chasing the 2 cows away 😆
Does anyone have a link to his channel?
Great watch, thanks for sharing.
Also, congratulations on 1M subscribers. Thoroughly deserved.
Take care
All the best
D & B 👍
