Probably the best and most entertaining video in all the interwebz!
Had a blast with you that day!!!!
Well done guys!!
Love you videos mate, my mechanic is fitting the stage 1 kit to my 2019 310 Ultra Lx today. I'll be fitting the trumpet and 5th hole cool air this weekend. Almost summer down under so can't wait to get it on the water and test it all out!
Had to watch this again since today just put in my new Kspeed ECU. Going to take her out tomorrow.
Sweet! The accel is incredible. Make sure you have fresh 93 octane for optimum performance with the tune
I see that kspeed has staged 2 available now do you think it would be a big difference
What a great video! Great collaboration with both of you on the comparison ecu's. Well done fellas!
Thanks man, it was a lot of fun doing the testing. We had grand ideas of testing out the LX-S and a 310x as well, but ran out of time. We figured the LX is the top of the line flagship ski so makes the most impact
@@JDsWaterWorld Your LX-S already has some great mods too. How do you think they compared to your ski performance wise?
Sure was a great video & collaboration. Thanks again for all of the great content and hard work.

Great video as usual. Impressive numbers. I understand why you go with the K speed. Showing them loyalty for their Kawasaki devotion is certainly warranted. I have a fairly unrelated question for you. But but you are uniquely qualified in owning the 2 skis that you have. What is your top speed on your ultra LX? I hear 52 to 55. How do you think having trim on the ski will impact its speed and handling based on what you feel with the 310? My limited experience with the ultra LX is that it had pretty good bottom end. Thank you very much for any input.
For the 310LX, stock, 55 is slow. With 360 lb, we hit 55 because the crate was clogged with leaves.
Keith he is talking about the LX 160 naturally aspirated ski I believe
@ Edward Bowles the trim on the 160 should help get the bow up which should translate into a bit more speed. I consistently hit 55/56 in the salt and it can go as fast as 58 on fresh water stock. I scoot all the way to the back of the seat and the speedo jumps 1 mph just because of that
@@kkutube1972 crate??
I think you mean grate.
Well done bros
Awesome test......but 310S testing would also help
310 s?

When Kawasaki sends me one I promise I’ll do another video 🤪🤣
@@JDsWaterWorld i will consider it for yu. Lol
My question might be a little confusing. I am wondering how trim will impact the new ultra 160s As far as speed handling and playfulness.
Well I know when I slide all the way to the back of the seat on my LX it will hit 57/58 on flat fresh water. In the salt water it usually tops off around 55/56 if I do the same. I’m sure the trim will help her the bow up and this increase the top speed. It’s a great ski!
Thanks. Is that GPS or speedo?
Speedo..I have clocked 56 on the GoPro GOS though
Would like to see the afr numbers. Heard Kawasaki are lean already. And Riva makes them even leaner.
Yes I would as well! And yes, that is what I don’t particularly care to run the Riva tune on my ski. I’ve got quite a few hours logged on the kspeed tune and have not had any problems.I need to throw a timing light on my ski and see what the kspeed tune is running in terms of initial and full ignition advance and compare that to stock-the AFR I have no clue, I doubt they will tell me their numbers
Is it the same as if I purchased maptunerx and load into my ecu that stafe2 8800 program?
No, this was the stage 1 tune. The Stage 2 or 3 tune has a higher redline and different timing and fuel curves I would imagine
Wow kspeed
I prefer the Kspeed tune because it’s designed to accompany their many mods and has been tested and trialed more than the other tunes on the market .
@@JDsWaterWorld have you gotten the staged 2
