Reflashed my ECU today with the Kspeed Tune Box and had no issues! The process was painless, and the device is easy to use! Great job guys, can’t wait to get on the water and test the Endurance + tune out in the chop! 😎😎
We only do 1 profile, no point melting pistons for 1mph. There is options on this box; and in back back testing against other tunes on the market we were more consistent in top speed. If you need tuning options beyond what we do, you'll need an aftermarket ecu, as kspeed being a dealership as well, we will not offer anything custom that will jeopardise the reliability.
@@BrisbaneKawasaki ahhh ok - I didn’t know that K-Speed was more Kawasaki brand per say. I assumed that K-Speed was something totally aftermarket and wasn’t directly connected to the manufacturer brand. I just figured y’all made performance parts for kawi solely. But that definitely explains the reason the tuning is what it is. (Not that it’s a bad thing ) I’m sure the tunes are very clean personally I was looking for something little more custom with few different power options / boost options I would think the piston / engine could take somewhat of a increase most engines can. Just not crazy increases
Yes as our dealership our number focus is reliability. We do have race ski's and can do custom tunes, but unless your ski is here and you've spent the money on a proper stand alone ECU for your build, we won't be able to help. Our own Enduro race ski's all run the standard ECU with our tune. Our closed course Open ski's run aftermarket ecus @@jasonjackson329
@@BrisbaneKawasaki I come from car (gas) and diesel tuning world. So it just seems kinda crazy that these ski have to get aftermarket ECU’s to do custom stuff - I assumed once it’s unlocked enough to make any changes like these. It would also allow more advance and in-depth changes. Once’s like these you’d immediately think it’s more a piggy back tune. But no equipment stays hooked up. So that’s a definitely not a piggy back. So I’m guessing it’s more like a `box tune’ as we call it in the diesel truck world.
@@BrisbaneKawasaki I can only imagine how much a aftermarket ecu for my 2022 310x would be. Lol definitely probably 4 digits price range. Are the older models like this as well ?
Not at all mate, the hours on the dash is inside the dash itself and the ECU does record engine time as well, but our tune doesn't touch this area of the ECU. If you install our tune, then put the factory file back in later on, it can't be seen.
Stage 1 = FPO more power and delimited (SLO, LPO & MPO remain stock) Endurance + = FPO is identical to stage 1, MPO becomes a hybrid mode. MPO for the first 90% of throttle and Stage 1 for the last 10% of throttle. This means you can start your ski and not fumble to change to FPO before pulling the throttle and enjoy the full unrestricted speed with extra power. but need to slow down it goes back to being the nice placid 249hp mode until you pull the trigger all the way in again. JD's Waterworld just did a video of this as well.
@@BrisbaneKawasaki good idea.. ! How do i switch from k speed tune to OEM ? Do i get 2 tune boxes or both tunes are in the same box ? Basically the idea is that i will have the ability to switch back to oem before going back to the dealer in the case of any mechanical problem.
@@dayanmederos6564 The tune box allows you to tune and remove. Just plug it all back in and when you see the 3 options appear, select the original file and wait for it to go back in. Once in the box will tell you what to do, then remove the connections again. After service / warranty work, you can put it back in.
@@dayanmederos6564 We supply the OEM tunes on the device, with the tunes to suit each OEM ECU. We will offer support for the 2024 version in the next month or 2 on the tune box, but we can tune them if the ECU is sent to us in the mean time. When we order the Kspeed Tune Box... are all the needed cables included?
yes its all in the box with the kspeed tunebox
I have both 2023 ultra 310 lx and 160 lx can I get one tune box for both when it’s available or order separately
The boxes lock to the individual skis. You will require 2 boxes, however the new 2023 Ultra 160 tune, is not available at this stage.
