    My goodness. You described it to the tee! I have been experiencing the sharp pain in both the front and the medial sides of both knees and from what I’ve been hearing (hundreds of UA-cam videos and multiple PTs) my hips, glutes, hamstrings are all jacked up and pulling my knees every which way. Very painful but this video was good to know I’m not alone

    Yes! You described my issues of stabbing knee pain front. I had pain in deep thigh, groin ache/stab, and upper buttock stabs that went into severe sciatica that lasted six months - felt like a tazer. Physical therapy for piriformis made it worse. Now my research leads me to think it's psoas or iliacus? Thank God for youtube. Doctors/PT have been worthless.

    As a volleyball player I have been dealing with this type of knee pain you just explained. It is when your knee is going inwards a lot, how can I fix this?

    • @More4Life
      @More4Life  5 місяців тому +1

      That's important to fix for volleyball players as many knee injuries from volleyball result from the knees going inward when landing from a jump. Glute exercises like squats, lunges, and step ups can help as well as practicing landing from a jump without letting your knees come together. Here's one video that might give you some ideas: ua-cam.com/video/qw7Fk26hHKk/v-deo.html

I have dislocated my knees very often but it has been a few years since I last dislocated it cuz the doc said it happens again I will need surgery but kinda afraid to go doc again cuz I don’t have time for surgery. I get a sharp pain just to the left of the knee. It’s not quite the inside. It hurts unexpectedly when I’m going up or downstairs and the odd thing, when I’m driving and moving my leg from the gas peddle to the brake. I do have right hip bursitis and pain on my right glut. I have had this knee pain on and off for some 20 years. I had an MRI in my 30’s. Based on what you’re saying the right inner knee issue is connected to my right hip and glut problem? This makes me feel better as my mother has had surgery on both knees and I was hoping not to have any tears.

    • @More4Life
      @More4Life  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, it is likely that the knee pain is related to your hip problem. In my experience, most knee pain is secondary to hip and/or ankle issues unless there was a traumatic injury to the knee. If you get the pain when driving (i.e. not bearing weight on it) it's more likely a muscle problem and not a problem inside the joint.

    Hi. I am seventeen years old. Randomly I have been experiencing sharp pains in my knee out of nowhere. It doesn’t happen with any specific activity. It feels relatively unstable. Any thoughts?

    • @More4Life
      @More4Life  2 роки тому +1

      Many possible causes, but here are a few possibilities.
      1. Osgood-Schlatter disease - bone growth below the knee, especially if you've hit a recent growth spurt. Rest is unfortunately the best treatment for that problem.
      2. Patellofemoral pain - can cause pain in front of the knee and cause the knee to feel unstable, or in severe cases, the kneecap can even "slip out" of place. Especially common if you tend to be hyperflexible.
      3. Meniscus tears or ligament tears - probably wouldn't happen unless you've had a traumatic injury at your age.
      **If it just happens on occasion, chances are it's not serious, but you should probably have this checked out by a doctor or physiotherapist in your area just to be sure.
      Good luck!

      Usually pain that's below the knee is from tendon attachments on the inside or outside of the lower leg bone. Either way though, if you don't feel safe driving, it's a good idea to avoid driving until you feel safe doing so.

      Is there any bone growth on the front of your knee? Osgood-Schlatter disease is a common cause of this type of symptom in children your age where the muscles get stronger faster than the bones and the muscle pulls on the bone causing excessive bone build-up. The good news is that it will get better. The bad news is that the best treatment is to limit running, jumping, or other activities that make the pain worse.
