I hope his legs are okay! He was trying too run like when he kept slipping on the ice and his legs would spread apart...
I'm hoping that's just from being so cold and possibly almost frozen so after a while it will go back to normal and not some injury...

Deer are much better at swimming than skating.
Keep clear of the front hooves while pulling the back ones. They cut like knives.
It could ice skate to safety, but why pass up on UA-cam fame?

I feel sad when i see rescues like this when the animal is in a lot of resistance and hostility because they don't know that they're trying to help them. Like I remember seeing a cat being freed from a tangled net/soccer goal and it was extremely feisty even after being free.
Yes ! Animals get over excited for fears ! They don't know better ! They are totally innocent , though ! My cats were the same ! One of them was thrown over the back yard fence while I wasn't home by a man lived in a mobile home in the property ( as he was a friend of the house's owner I was renting )& when I found him in my neighbour's back yard , he dashed to me frantically & jumped in my arms & started kicking me & biting me , too !!! In his way of showing his fears & anger letting me know that something bad happened to him !!!After that I fully adopted him permanently indoor .

I'v seen this kind of vedio a lot and want to know why deers are always in the center of the lake not at the side. Does anyone knows the reason why? It's hard for me to imagine that they went there just to drink water or do ice fishing.
They are trying to cross, usually at a run to start with so they have a lot of speed then their legs go out from under them and they can’t get back up because it’s so slick. They exhaust themselves trying to get up, Ive seen them die from it on Lake Michagin.

After lying on ice for who-knows-how-long, and having no-doubt strained some muscles trying to stand, it's legs won't work right for some time. In fact, it may not survive, but at least it has a fighting chance now.
How come I never seen a single video of a woman rescuing an animal? They claim to love them, yet they dont do good deed for them!
