That album is the definition of over the top. I love it.
Yeah it was Awesome ill do a review for that album, sometime in January
It's the album that got me into 80s metal guitar and I was absolutely blown away by the vocals and how high they were, I loved it instantly. I remember the feeling when I first heard it, it was a great feeling.
@@lrn_news9171 I loved it also BUT confused on the picture of the Guy on the back LP cover & the guy in the Video, but learned what happen by mid 87
We need VVI’s first album back on streaming platforms. It is a literal masterpiece.
Agreed! Why was VVI removed from ITunes?
It's on Spotify ;)
@@micifuzvr its not on Spotify anymore. For some reason it was taken down
Wow, you scared me! Fortunately, it's still available on UA-cam Music.
Why isn’t the first album available? I use Apple Music and I only have the second album available. Honestly I like the second album because of mark slaughters voice
Bobby is one of the few people Vinnie's worked with that doesn't talk shit about Vinnie. He actually has nice things to say about him, despite Vinnie's obsession with the drum timing and all that.
What a class act Bobby is. One of those albums for history.
I keep hearing more and more about Dana Strum. The guy seems multi talented, really understands music and the business side of it, and has a good ear.
He drove Ozzy around looking for a guitarist
Bobby rock is a great drummer, but also a real nice down to earth guy.
Invasion is a great album 🔥
I actually liked "All Systems Go" better
I saw Vinnie with KISS in early 84 in Wendler Arena in Saginaw, MI.
How old are ya?
Me too! Poughkeepsie civic center, NY. Lick it up tour.
I saw several great shows there. Rush, Heart, Nazareth, REO, etc
Ok Boomer. Haha! :-p
Vinnie Vincent Invasion about should deserve a lot more than credit.
VVI is a relentless album, even though it's an album I had back in the day I've grown to appreciate it so much more in recent years, I played the hell out of last year after a few years not touching it. It must have been an incredible experience to make that record, there's very little like it, certainly with that intensity. Twisted is off the radar. Animal is off the radar. It's an excellent album.
I so love your interviews. Bobby Rock is a great drummer. It's cool to hear his perspective on VVI.
Thanks for listening.
I could listen for hours..
I loved this album. With Grim Reaper Rock You To Hell, the 2 most underrated albums of this era. Both hold up as well any other album today
I seen both bands live.Vinnie Vincent opened up for Iron Maiden back in 86. I seen Grim Reaper at a small rock club back in 85,both bands were really good live.
I jammed the HELL out of that Grim Reaper album.
The first VVI album is great, shoot u full of love and invasion are my favorites
I saw VV open for Iron Maiden in 1986 in Austin. Somewhere in Time / Invasion tours.
I love this interview as I do many previous discussions. I appreciate that you ask great questions as a primer but allow the interviewee to talk at length. I also like how friendly, complimentary, but honest his thoughts are. Thank you.
Thank you, D.
"Love Kills" with Mark Slaughter was such a Kick Azz song.
I always get that excited feeling when I see a new full in bloom 🌺 youtube upload. It’s always great stuff.I would love to support your channel financially your well-deserved of it you’re a special special creature on his interviews you’ve got your game down man you’ve got your rock ‘n’ roll game down for sure you know your shit you know what people wanna hear and you know how to ask the questions you’re a great dude you’re great you do a hell of a job a fantastic 5 star job
Always good to hear from you, Robin. Thank you!
Quite the classy guy.
Huge rock drum God
Another great interview
Thanks for listening.
I wore this album out!
Cool interview and cool guy!
To me Vinnie was one of the few genuine glam rockers of the 80s and the antithesis to "cock rock". Maybe if the genre have had more guys(or gals) like him it wouldn't have crumbled to dust as soon as grunge arrived.
I'm just glad Vinnie is back and we have so many supporting The Warrior's return.
Vinnie is back how?
I can count em on 2 hands and a foot 😂
1 thing for sure Dana Strum had his hands in alot of L.A. aspects and was a business man att heart
plugged straight in then dime every knob
Dana was the Vinnie Whisperer, lol. 9:10
The interview was great. I got hooked on your snippets on Spotify. Do you have a spot where the full interviews are?
Thanks for all tbis great content.
The Iron Maiden peice of mind album stated, No synthesizer’s or ulterior effects were used on the making of this album. Up the Irons! 💪
Different story on Somewhere in Time.....
@@WAM4EVER Somewhere in time had some decent songs but power slave was their last solid album. Actually saw the power slave album tour in Charlotte N.C. They won best live show that year. 👍🏻
@@jimmywood3735 I totally agree. Somewhere in Time is still a solid album. I enjoy all 80's Maiden 🤘
I love this channel 👊😎
Thanks for listening, ghostface grilla.
NITRO OFR killer drumming!
👊
Too bad he stopped playing after a couple of recordings. A Shooting star
I had long hair and goofy clothes in the 80s but I couldn't get on board with the eyeliner or trying to look like a hooker. I did listen to the ' hair ' bands but I thought most were crap. I was into Led Zeppelin , early Rainbow and Black Sabbath more than anything and I thought most of the 80s bands didn't measure up . But I thought I knew good players when I heard them so I thought VV was a good one
Love the records but the remasters always sounded off to my ears. I’d 100% buy vinyls with new remasters/mixes.
One ex VVI member, not sure who it was, said VV got so frustrated in the studio one day that he threw his guitar onto the floor and peed all over it. I think Vinnie might jut be batshit crazy enough to pull a stunt like that.
Paul Stanley claimed that Vinnie dumped his bowl of soup in the pot in the middle of the table while they were having dinner. lmao
Mark slaughter and appice say that vinnie is a nut job
Bobby rock is about the only person I've ever heard say anything good about Vinny..or Vivian..whatever he happens to be these days.
First , Poison Rules
Pancakes?? Why do oddball celebrities love pancakes??
