Vinnie was a great collaborator to Gene and Paul, he has his merits on his own as a songwriter and guitar player when self edited but if you see the transcripts from the various suits it is clear that Vinnie doesn't have too much of a claim to stand on and has his suits dismissed regularly when he fails to comply with the courts demands for things like valid membership to a musicians association or a handwriting analysis when he alleged documents were forged. I thank him for the music and the memories but he needs an intervention.

i'm just upset that bruce wasn't the first replacement to be brought in and given his own makeup design at the time. that era of KISS suited both KISS and bruce so well. it never worked with vinnie, it was never going to, a very talented player and songwriter, paul & gene should of kept him as a co-writer and nothing more. if things had of worked earlier for bruce too i bet my bottom dollar he would of replaced ace in 2002 also and perhaps eric singer would have been given the opportunity to create his own makeup design or put on the fox makeup in tribute of eric carr (which every KISS fan) would of respected if the band continued on with that line-up (you could even have unplugged sessions without the make-up or do one off small tours with no makeup and it would of been the revenge lineup)

Literally no one is influenced by him. I watched this old "instructional video" he put out, that someone had uploaded onto YT. It was awful. There was literally nothing to be learned from him. He relied purely on speed, which will fade with time without proper technique.
@DM-sy4hg actually the way VV taught connecting positions with licks on the fretboard is the way guitar is taught by jazz musicians . the "licks" part of the video is great . the jam part I don't care for much . when the picking is explained in the licks section it shows certain notes in a 3 or 4 string grouping are doubled to keep the directional picking going

And by honest share, if there's three in the band, then it's split three ways. If five, then split 5 ways. Each is integral in that band being who they are.

The reason Vinny keeps suing Kiss is because he’s Broke. Vinny blew every opportunity he was given. With his recent appearances he drove to them with an old clunker car. Bald tire’s, dent’s a complete Rag of a vehicle. On his last gathering he had to ask for a jumpstart in order to leave. Finally the car started and as he was driving out of the parking lot one could hear a loud backfire and see a cloud of black smoke.

Want to see where Gene Simmons got his on stage persona? Search Sensational Alex Harvey Band Midnight Moses and watch the guitarist, Zal Cleminson. That's where he got the whiteface and the tongue sticking out bit. Zal wore makeup like a pantomime guy. Think about it, who wears whiteface makeup, black lipstick and black makeup designs around the eyes? You might thing "clowns wear whiteface and lipstick" but is it black lipstick and only right on the lips and do they stick their tongue out frequently? Gene straight up imitated Zal with only the modification of the eye makeup design changed to a bat wing form, Zal even had big curly hair like Gene did. That band was around right before and during the time Kiss formed and started wearing the makeup, it's obvious where they got the idea from. Gene never once said anything about imitating Zal, he pretended it was all their own original idea, and he got away with it because Zal's band was a British one and virtually unknown in America. BTW, Zal left that band in 1977 and joined the band Nazareth in 1979 and stopped wearing the mime makeup, so Gene's secret was safe after that, nobody ever figured it out.

Perhaps you should listen to other guitarists from some well known bands it mite open your eyes & ears to the true definition of what a awesome guitarist sounds like.
Also if Vinnie was an artist he would've been releasing albums for the last 30 years. Instead of doing anything productive Vinnie just over charges his last 50 fans insane amounts of money. Iam sure many if them are probably spending their monthly old age pensions in order to go to his annual get-togethers where it appears his only intention is to drain their bank accounts which compendates for his lack of productivity which stems from lack of creativity & from what I've seen his prices are insane. Over priced merch, photos, guitar picks & autographs along with empty promises of box sets, new music, unreleased music, etc. etc. Vinnie has a history of lying, making excuses, blaming somebody else when nothing ever comes.

It's always been about Gene and Paul, except when it'd between those two. Then it's Gene or Paul in their eyes. I agree with protecting what's yours, but when theirs other members, whether original or not, then they should get their honest share while in the band. And by honest share, if there's three in the band, then it's split three ways. If five, then split 5 ways. Each is integral in that band being who they are.

His guitar solos are absurd and I laugh at how pitiful they are. It is not about playing fast it is about creating an emotional response in the listener. His solos are just like him, self-absorded, indulgent and goes nowhere.

Want to see where Gene Simmons got his on stage persona? Search Sensational Alex Harvey Band Midnight Moses and watch the guitarist, Zal Cleminson. That's where he got the whiteface and the tongue sticking out bit. Zal wore makeup like a pantomime guy. Think about it, who wears whiteface makeup, black lipstick and black makeup designs around the eyes? You might thing "clowns wear whiteface and lipstick" but is it black lipstick and only right on the lips and do they stick their tongue out frequently? Gene straight up imitated Zal with only the modification of the eye makeup design changed to a bat wing form, Zal even had big curly hair like Gene did. That band was around right before and during the time Kiss formed and started wearing the makeup, it's obvious where they got the idea from. Gene never once said anything about imitating Zal, he pretended it was all their own original idea, and he got away with it because Zal's band was a British one and virtually unknown in America. BTW, Zal left that band in 1977 and joined the band Nazareth in 1979 and stopped wearing the mime makeup, so Gene's secret was safe after that, nobody ever figured it out.

It's been used and seen in countless art forms forever. If SImmons ripped it off then Cleminson ripped it off too.
Cleminson imitated pantomime artists, but they don't stick their tongue out, he originated that part, then Simmons stole it, it's obvious.
