I heard his trio at the vanguard and I think he had 2 old A’s, but not even that old, probably 60’s, maybe one was trans. It was weird because they were cymbals I would have passed up in the drum store. They were on the thick side, (as most of those are) and didn’t crash well, but of course he made them sound great. Strange choice though.
