I have a GScx2 pump, I LOVE IT. I've been using it for over a year now. I put a fan blowing on it, I fill a 60 minute and a 45 minute tank. Run it until it gets to 130f. Bleed it early and often.
I have had the GX CS3-I for a year now. I target practice in my backyard roughly 3 times a week with two rifles 250 shots a time. I can tell you this unit and my friend who has the GX-CS2 has been so much better than the hand pump or the hassle of getting your bottle filled for 2 weeks of shooting for me. These new style PCP designed compressor units coming out now are more convenient. If your gun is getting low hook it straight up and you are done charging is 7 minutes for my Benjamin Marauder rifle. I know of some on youtube that fill small scuba tanks and my friend has tried this but my recommendation is fill straight into the gun. If you do that you will have very little condensation to contend with and these units will last a very long time. The cotton filters supplied heep the moisture out pretty well and my filters are never very wet but I added some redundancy with another in line filter off of Amazon Creation Core in line water, oil filter and I can tell you I have had no issues and almost no water. Excellent review A quick question They say not to fill a scuba tank with this pump but I have a 6.8L carbon tank which has pressure of 200 bar in it Can I top it to 300 bars with this pump or no ???? Pls help
I just bought the cs3 on Amazon and I love it so far . I have the yong hang and had it fouryearswithout any problems I just use it to fill guns not tanks and I love it to I think the trick with yong hang is not to run it too long at a time and keep up the maintenance on it . Now the cs3 I just got I bought it to take it on the road so I could hook it up to my Jeep worked great takes a little longer but it works great I’ve had it for five months with no problems at all I would recommend this compressor it’s a good one so far . And I love your channel I gave you a sub a long time ago and have learned a lot of good tips on this channel keep up the great work and be safe brother
Nice video! How would you rate this compressor when planning on filling 68 cubic inch / 4500psi paintball tanks vs the Yong (assuming good one). I’ve seen the Yong fill a tank like that from 0 to 4,000 psi in 5 mins.
If what you are saying is the CS2 and CS3, certainly yes. The pump is common to all CS2 and CS3 variants, but not the motor. The 12V units are different than the Tool battery units.
I keep my Yong Heng far cooler using open circuit cooling. Run hot water to waste and keep your donor bucket topped up with cold water with a hose trickle. Mine runs 20°C cooler. No more hot oil smell. I've been running it 3 years now. It cost me £134 UK delivered and has paid for itself twice over. It's amazing how many of you shooting friends start to call and just happen to have their air bottle with them on their way to the dive shop....detour via my house! I charge them half what the dive shop charges as they aren't putting service hours on my compressor for free. If they want free air they can use my hand pump!
Good on you! running a waste water cooling system here in California raises quite a few issues. It is actually possible to run a pump or engine too cold for the tolerances and lubricants used, not that Yong Heng is the last word in actual "Engineering". I've got an episode planned where i double the area of the radiators, will be fun to see what that does. Keep those pellets flying!
I own both Yong Heng, and the C2 compressor. The Yong Heng fills REALLY quickly, but I tried to make one of those all in one radiator zip tied to the side so it's a portable unit with no need for a bucket of water and of course I seized the motor. Now I need to rebuild it. In the meantime I'm using my C2 which is slower, but it requires NOTHING but an outlet to plug it in, r on the field attach to your car battery. It is SO easy and reliable !!! I'm SOO grateful to have a spare pump.
I love it. I judt replaced the 12v cable it got warm during using the compressor. It use to be 2.5mm2 but i replaced it with a 6mm2 wires. It runs quicker and fills quicker the cable does not get warm anny more.
Yong heng for larger fill tanks "over 1 litre' and the others that run on 12v for just filling guns up or small Buddy bottles is the way to see it. I may be wrong but from all I've read, seen and talking to my friends it's the Yong heng for cylinders up to 6.8 litres, I do know one or two that fill 9ltr and 12ltr tanks/cylinders using the Yong heng. Just a case of doing it in bits not all at once. Keep the temps low is the key apparently.
There is definity some truth in what you say, but some of your parameters need expanding. The CS2 and CS3 are great for filling a gun directly. as explained in the video. If you are doing that, and have the flexibility to do it most anywhere, why do you need a huge bottle? Also, the CS4 is 12V, can run for 6 hours straight, needs NO BUCKET, is field portable, can fill guns directly AND bottles of any size, has really cool upgrade components that I design and sell myself, and has US sources parts.
My reasoning is that most of us would rather carry a 3 litre bottle or a bit smaller than carrying your expensive and breakable compressor. If your at home just filling guns then any of the compressors will work great as not much is being expected of them. Not on for too long etc
Thank You for this vid. There is a ton of info in just 8 min. U convinced me to buy one of these NOW considering the shipping prob. Just got it and the pressure check was ok. Thanx again.
Great channel. I've been a mechanic for 50 years and I know you know but one of your viewers might not; A 14mm wrench can be easily substituted with a 9/16" wrench.
They do the same version now with 18v batteries I believe "if memory serves and that's iffy at times lol" Is there much difference between this and the older versions that sell everywhere under various names ?
Not sure why you believe they are iffy? Perhaps you got into some poor quality info? GX is pretty particular who they rebrand with, not all 12V compressors are made by them. Which brands are you referring to? You may be operating on some assumptions that are invalid. Happy to help add clarity for you, if I can.
Hey my high compression piston seems to be going to high and locking up because it cannot return the stroke. I'm fairly used to piston strokes from racing motorcycles, 2 strokes, but this thing has ne really confused and hard to find good customer support. I'm getting ready to replace the whole unit or just whole top end but I'm really interested in figuring this out. Also, the top high compression piston is tight! I would appreciate any advice
Thank you for your comment, I don't really support the Yong Heng much, the GX units are quieter, run anywhere, and I sell parts for them. Check out my GX content!
@@TargetForge Huh, I think this compressor has only one manometer? You sell them on your shop: PRESSURE GAUGE CALIBRATED IN PSI (ASSEMBLY DWG # 31) ONE EACH. What is the threadsize on this gauge? M8x1, G1/8BSP....? Thanks!
I shoot quite a bit and top off with bottles throughout the day as I travel or camp where I go to shoot.bottles are quick and at hand to refill from.less gear to load and unload and secure as well.i guess it comes down to how much your shooting, cost, convenience, where you shoot at.bottles are expensive so you got to add that in for starters! Something to consider if my yh goes bad thank you.
Thank you for your comment T. I've walked both paths, had bottles for years, and will likely continue to use them in some capacity. Once that bottle gets down to your reg pressure, your shooting is over until you return to the Mothership. That little red compressor may take 6 min to fill a gun, but it can do it over and over and over. It works on my truck, my shop, and my Quad, or any other 12V vehicle that might be nearby. Food for thought, I suppose. Have an awesome day!
I had a GX CS2 it lasted about 2 week and died return it got a GX CS3 about 7 month what should I be doing to maintain it and where are the air filters in it I have 7HR and 30 SEC on it
Personally, I would NEVER use an inexpensive Chinese compressor for breathable air. The filtration used on real breathable air compressors cost many times what this compressor costs, your lungs are vulnerable to damage easily, just don't do it.
I've heard great things about the GX line of compressors including the one in your once again excellent video that you posted 👍👍💯 they have a new model it is 18 volt rechargeable battery powered which I think will be a game changer where you can take out on the field and not have to open up the hood of your automobile and use the battery I'm buying this model this Saturday I can't wait 🥰
On a 480cc bottle 150bar to 250bar it takes 6min. I don't have another gun with a 480cc bottle that goes that high, but I'll try and sort something out.
Because it is meant to be installed INSIDE a piece of equipment. The output terminals are exposed and the enclosure is open to tool entry, it technically fails ECE and ISO regulations for a consumer facing power supply.@@Lazzzymedia
Well Steve, I didn't answer your question because I have no data to support one argument or the other. Much of the anecdotal information available does not take into account the Yong Heng. The manufacturer says use one oil, some other guy says, no use this oil it's better. Without actual empirical data I'm challenged to answer your question. I know how to test it, and get an answer, but that test requires at least two new pumps, and this channel is not making the kind of money to support that test at this time. I hope that soon I can take on tests like this to test some of the ideas being passed around. Oil has been in my sights for some time. Remember, just because it says compressor oil, does not mean 4500psi compressor oil unless indicated by the lubricant manufacturer. If Bauer or Alkin specified an oil for use in their systems that MAY apply here, but even that is conjecture.
@@adrianparache Do you have real data to support this demand to use an oil NOT recommended by the manufacturer? I'm not saying this isn't the best oil since sliced bread, but I've also never had a compressor fail due to advanced wear. If you have data, on Yong Hengs, not some manufacturer marketing stuff, but actual data on Yong Heng units, I'd love to see it.
I’ve been using yong heng compressors for a while, and have done a lot of research regarding to what type of oil to use, the manufacturer recommends AW 46 hydraulic oil, problem is it will cause carbon buildup on the secondary piston which will ruin your piston rings, I’m just sharing my empirical information.
@@adrianparache Really not trying to be a PITA, honest I'm not. What you are presenting seems like anecdotal evidence? I really want to put some oils to a head to head test, and I've heard of the carbon theory before, but to date, no one has presented actual data one way or the other. I've run a clone for three years on the cheapest Type 46 I could get, low pressure piston failed due to fatigue. Checked every wear item in the unit and it all looked great, except that huge crack in the piston top.
I have a yong heng compressor instead of using the hydraulic fluid that it calls for since it's a compressor could I use compressor oil to eliminate the carbon buildup on the top of the secondary piston I'm on disability and I can't afford a lot and I want to make sure it lasts me for a long time
I finally have one, and I am preparing an episode on it. I have some issues with the marketing words being used, as they don't really hold water. It seems well built, but a bit pricey? I've only scratched the surface, more to come...
I think you will be fine. From 0 Bar it might take some time and I would switch the pump off after 20 min and let the fans run for ten minutes, then finish the fill. Once you are pressurized and simply topping off you should be well within that 20 min window, probably more like 10-12 min for a refill.
I have heard of guys filling small bottles with the CP2. It takes me 6 min to fill a 480cc bottle on my Crown to 250 BAR. Are you planning to fill that 1 liter bottle to 350BAR? That might take a while for this little compressor, and what do you gain? The compressor isn't much bigger that the bottle you are filling, why not just bring the compressor? Then you can fill again, and again.
@@TargetForge TY for the reply, i will take your words of wisdom. The idea is getting a good starter for filling HPA 0.8L tanks to use in paintball or airsoft .
If you buy one definitely get the warranty. They are $37 as of today 10 /18/24 for 3 years. My second unit is starting to run slow after a couple minutes. This is how the first one started to go bad. Second unit is right at 2 years old. And only fills my Marauder maybe twice a week. It sometimes goes a month without being used at all. It fills the gun from 1500 to 2500 in less than 3 minutes. As good as my Yong Heng does. There are better units now for less than $300 now that have built in inverter and automatic pressure shut off for $224. Also I tried repairing the first one and customer service was hard to acquire. This is my opinion nobody paid me to say anything.
I'm very new to this and i just bought two tanks one valken and one ninja one 13ci one 26ci 13ci is 1100 psi output and 26ci is 850 output how would i even pump the tanks lol? You just hook it directly to the gun? Ive purchased a hand pump for about 105 or 150 on mcsus seems like i got scammed found one for like 50 on amazon. But this machines are so much better
It would appear that you might be buying stuff before you learn what you need and how to use it. To learn how to fill a PCP airgun there are TONS of really good videos on UA-cam. Those specs you have quoted seem REALLY low, if they are accurate you might want to return them and start over. What airgun are you looking for? Maybe we could start there?
Looks like maybe you are into paintball or airsoft? These compressors can go quite a bit higher than much of that equipment. Hand pumps vary quite a bit on quality vs. cost. One that lasts will cost more, most of us that fill to 4500psi only use a hand pump once, and we are cured.
@TargetForge yes paintball but less lethal since owning a real gun is a crime for me since I am a felon in my record sadly and cali bans my firearm rights forever now. But these paintball guns can be modded so high it has a super hard impact up to 100 joules. And well the one I can't mod is a .43 paintball can't be modded really but the first point of defense is just letting the attacker see the gun and he or she will stop maybe. If they have their own gun I ain't doing shit might as well just rob me. But these other ones I'm ordering will be modded very high enough to def drop an attacker. But I'm gonna need to keep filling the air tanks.
Hello TF, greetings from Peru!!... I've just watched your video and after did it I felt happy for my desition. Recently I was so close to buy a YongFeng, but someone talked me about the CX. Last week I bought one in Amazon, and now I'm waiting at home for its arrival (next Wednesday in Lima). I liked your video, it was useful for me specially all your tips. Something I would like to ask you is if you can give me information to add the same extensions as the one you have, I mean, the additional filter plus the larger hose. I want to buy the same to have a better protection when filling my rifle. Thanks...
The filter is the one that came with unit, you should get one too. The extra hose whip can be found here: amzn.to/3K4RWZS Good luck! Hope yours works as well as mine! If you are interested in the 3D printed parts I added to mine, those files can be downloaded for free and printed by someone in Peru. Would be really cheap that way. I think you only need that stuff if its going to be transported a lot, like I do on the back of my ATV.
Hello TF, thanks a lot for your reply. I already ordered the additional hose. I’m sure that I’ll have the same experience as you do with this CX. Once I get it, I will let you know how I do…. Have an excellent week.
It's not really meant for filling bottles. It's intended to fill the gun directly. Consequently I have no data on a fill of a container that large. If you were patient, only running it 20-30 min per run, allowed a cool down period between fill events, it would do it. Getting off the bottle is the secret here.
The large ones are here: amzn.to/3KFeu2A The smaller one inside the filler block might be these? But I haven't tested them. www.ebay.com/itm/194918995659?hash=item2d6213d6cb:g:cM4AAOSwg6tiU1ak To be honest I take them out, dry them, and reuse. There is no oil in the pump, once dry they still work well.
Filter update, the seller on Amazon has committed to providing all three filter elements. That being said, the the only schedule I could get out of them is "soon". There is hope!
Good day, I am thinking about purchasing this for rifles from 3000psi all the way to 4500psi...HONESTLY, what is your experience with this as filling an air rifle? Also, would you recommend it? Lastly, how fast does it fill?
I say right in the video that I recommend it. I have many videos in the play lists for both units. Why do you write "HONESTLY"? Are you convinced I'm lying to you? The GX CS2 is great at filling rifles directly, and can do it in MANY ways. Check out the rest of my content.
I paid 200aud for a topa hydraulic it's a exact copy of the entry level Yong heng and is also blue but doesn't have the Yong heng sticker on it but it's going and im thinking if and when it craps out maybe i will try one of these also do you recommend getting a bigger longer oil and moisture separator thing with bigger tampon filters instead of the baby one it comes with
I can tell you that the notion of "clones" or "copies" is a bunch of made up information folks came up with in the absence of the truth. There are two, maybe three ACTUAL manufacturers in this space located in China. Yong Heng is a brand, Topa is a brand, they order branded units from the same source and depending on their price and option negotiations, you are getting much the same parts. A brand CAN order different options, or "better" parts in some cases, but most of this stuff comes out of the same building, from the same hands. Regarding upgrading the filter, no I do not. You won't see oil because there isn't any. If you are filling guns directly, the cotton, if changed regularly, does just fine. Take the wet ones out, let em dry, put a dry one back in. When they get funky throw them away and you'll be fine.
@@TargetForge cheers for that brother man ,i only did one fill and the cotton cigarette looking filter was fine and the other round one was also clean as and i put a extra flat round filter in the little thing that you put the filters in,yeah the guys with crazy set-ups with twin oil and moisture separators and thermo fans all sorts of stuff ,looks like something from NASA but they are doing diving bottles so are running it for a long time, my 4500psi 68ci tank only took 5mins maybe to fill so thanks heaps for that i will save my 70 bucks and spend it on something else 🙂👍 bloody legend
Hello, new subscriber . I enjoy your videos and I value your opinion. Which would you recommend today if you were buying a new compressor ? Cs2 or Cs3 ? Or something else entirely? Thanks very much.
The CS3 is the same as the CS2 with questionable electronics added to stop it automatically. The electronics on the CS3 fail all the time. The CS2 is simple, more durable, and cheaper, that is why I advocate it. Hope this helps!
Did you actually watch the video? The video says to NOT do that specifically. It advocates for using a light, portable compressor that can run on MANY different power sources to fill your gun directly. It presents an alternative use case. For guys that cannot/will not give up their bottles the CS4 is a great choice. Fun fact, you can actually have a conversation while the CS4 is filling your 9L bottle AND it will still do it in the field powered by you vehicle. Try that with your Yong Heng.
Not really sure what you are confused about? If you need a compressor and don't want to lug a large bottle around, use my Amazon link and get a GX CS2 or CS3.
I finally got it delivered. Without the converter 🤬. And a red wire sticking out the bottom. I already asked about both problems to the Chinese seller. The advertising clearly saus and shows it comes with the converter So i use 220Volt (i am in Holland). Wnd I hope hé can tell me where the bleep this loose red wire belongs. Its so dissapointing when you wait so freaking long for it. And then it misses a very imported part plus this loose wire touching metal under the red "hood"
I can see how you would be disappointed Ralph. Hopefully you bought it through Amazon so you have some protection through them. It sounds like you got someones return, and not a new unit. I can tell you the AC power supplies I have received have a simple switch on the side that allow the user to select 115VAC/220VAC. If that red wire is ~12AWG it likely goes between the circuit breaker and the motor and should be a pretty easy fix. Check out my video on installing an hour meter as I clearly show that area, and how that wire is attached. ua-cam.com/video/nQXIIPPhKok/v-deo.html
@@TargetForge I bought it on Aliexpress. Their customer service has been very good. But its now night there, so i wait. And thank you for the tip of the red wire. My on/off switch "sits" in the Black metal bottom part. In your video its in the red hood. i have the motor out and i will screw out the on off switch, to see if it maybe belongs there . Thanks so much for the respons. And from now on I use Amazon! I recently bought some fly fishing line there. Before, I thought Amazon only delivered to America(haha). I will make this unit work one way or the other. Cheers.
I'm not sure why you think the circuit breaker in my video is any different than yours. Did you actually watch it? It is defiantly in the lower black sheet metal.
While I can see your sentiment here, making thinly vailed "fat jokes" in a video comment to a man who has survived a stoke, lost a ton of weight, put a bunch of it back on due to severe depression is probably not a meaningful use of your time.
@Target Forge I hope your depression has lessened some. I have delt with anxiety and sme depression as well. Slowly improving, and one reason I'm getting back into air rifles. Your videos have inspired me to not only get My BSA Lonestsr out of mothballs , but purchase the compressor. Thanks for all you do.
I don’t understand, if you’re gonna spend that much money on that little one why not just get the better one when you said smaller I was assuming it was a cheap good price it’s the same price as the good ones so it should be good lol
You obviously have a very different idea of what "better" is. If you are comparing the CS2 to the CS3 the CS3 is NOT better. The electronic on that unit fail all the time, biggest selling part I stock. All you get on a CS3 is less airflow for cooling and a pressure set function that will fail in time. CS2 has the same pump, is simple and robust and MUCH easier to maintain.
So I should not buy an airgun until parts are available...Check. Whose 1 year warranty sucks? GX? I have had MANY viewers get their machine replaced when purchased on Amazon as I recommended. I am sorry if you have had a negative experience. Do have a pleasant Holiday Jay!

7 minutes for a Marauder? Woe..the Yong heng fills my mrod .22 from 2000 to 3000 in 20 seconds..
Excellent review A quick question They say not to fill a scuba tank with this pump but I have a 6.8L carbon tank which has pressure of 200 bar in it Can I top it to 300 bars with this pump or no ???? Pls help
Not designed for large bottles. Get a CS4 instead. Or, stop using the big bottle and fill your gun directly!
@@TargetForge Thanks
you're welcome!@@NIRAJPATELV
ok at least can it fill a 1.1L buddy bottle or not ????
The hand pump is for the apocalypse
After my solar rig fails of course...LOL.
Thank you for your comment Randy!
Unlike other youtubers you're giving a valuable technical information, subscribed!
Nice video! How would you rate this compressor when planning on filling 68 cubic inch / 4500psi paintball tanks vs the Yong (assuming good one). I’ve seen the Yong fill a tank like that from 0 to 4,000 psi in 5 mins.
Do you know gx l2 and l3 use same compressor
Hey, hand pumps have a service life too you know!
My yong heng has filled my impact 580 bottle and my 100 cubic inch fill bottle like 100x now and still going strong.
That's great! Does it ever leave the shop?
Sounds like you got a good one! Enjoy!
@@TargetForge ahh no it doesn’t I tried to but my inverter wouldn’t power it haha.
Hey brother. Can I book for today? Round 5pm or 6pm. I'm available before those hours but I figured those times might be better for you.
You can see my availability right on the site. Looking forward to talking with you.
@@TargetForge did I miss your call.
@@derrickmitchell39dm Hello Derrick, probably better to use email for business contact. No, you didn't its is at 10:30am Pacific time.
Welcome Robert!
Great channel. I've been a mechanic for 50 years and I know you know but one of your viewers might not; A 14mm wrench can be easily substituted with a 9/16" wrench.
Great tip Flip! Thank you!
They do the same version now with 18v batteries I believe "if memory serves and that's iffy at times lol"
Is there much difference between this and the older versions that sell everywhere under various names ?
Not sure why you believe they are iffy? Perhaps you got into some poor quality info? GX is pretty particular who they rebrand with, not all 12V compressors are made by them. Which brands are you referring to? You may be operating on some assumptions that are invalid. Happy to help add clarity for you, if I can.
@@TargetForge iffy, not the best. Forgetful.
My memory not the compressors
Hey my high compression piston seems to be going to high and locking up because it cannot return the stroke. I'm fairly used to piston strokes from racing motorcycles, 2 strokes, but this thing has ne really confused and hard to find good customer support. I'm getting ready to replace the whole unit or just whole top end but I'm really interested in figuring this out.
Also, the top high compression piston is tight!
I would appreciate any advice
Thank you for your comment, I don't really support the Yong Heng much, the GX units are quieter, run anywhere, and I sell parts for them. Check out my GX content!
Nice vid! Can you please tell me the thread on that pressure gauge?
Which one?
@@TargetForge Huh, I think this compressor has only one manometer? You sell them on your shop: PRESSURE GAUGE CALIBRATED IN PSI (ASSEMBLY DWG # 31) ONE EACH. What is the threadsize on this gauge? M8x1, G1/8BSP....? Thanks!
O yes, for te be sure, I am talking about the GX -S2 😉
I had a GX CS2 it lasted about 2 week and died return it got a GX CS3 about 7 month what should I be doing to maintain it and where are the air filters in it I have 7HR and 30 SEC on it
I'll be doing a series of videos on the CS3 shortly. The CS2 and CS3 are the same pump.
The GX CS3 I have didn't come with any Xtra air filters or a external air filter does it still have a handle under the cover
Have you used it for bottles?
It is not meant for large bottles. It's meant to fill guns directly so you don't need a bottle.
For diving tank how to resolve the bad smell come from the tank
Personally, I would NEVER use an inexpensive Chinese compressor for breathable air. The filtration used on real breathable air compressors cost many times what this compressor costs, your lungs are vulnerable to damage easily, just don't do it.
I have the Yong Heng, I will stick with it til it fails, then definitely go with the GS. Thanks
Fair enough!
Great to hear!
I got one its nice
can someone recommend a good inline filter which is safe , live in UK but any help would be great, not to keen on one leaking or blowing up
You mention installing an 'hour meter' on this compressor. Would you share which meter and how you wired it into the compressor wiring?
That episode is coming up! Thank you for your comment!
How long does it take to fill from 150 to 300 barr
On a 480cc bottle 150bar to 250bar it takes 6min. I don't have another gun with a 480cc bottle that goes that high, but I'll try and sort something out.
A friend received his new compressor and it now includes a gauge in PSI!
It would appear someone is listening! LOL, I talk to the factory from time to time and they do actually keep an eye on the channel.
The compressor seems nice, but that AC power supply is a death trap. Your 3d printed accessories are awesome btw 👍
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
how is it a death trap?
Because it is meant to be installed INSIDE a piece of equipment. The output terminals are exposed and the enclosure is open to tool entry, it technically fails ECE and ISO regulations for a consumer facing power supply.@@Lazzzymedia
It is also cheap, and does work!@@Lazzzymedia
gotcha, thanks. @@TargetForge
I have a yong heng compressor you didn't answer my question about the compressor oil if it would hurt the unit thank you for your help and information
You have to use hydraulic synthetic ISO 100 oil, Mobil makes the rarus 427 compressor oil, it will work well on yong hengs.
Checked every wear item in the unit and it all looked great, except that huge crack in the piston top.
when will you get 3d printed stuff.i want the spool holder and gauge zip tie holder thingy
I have a yong heng compressor instead of using the hydraulic fluid that it calls for since it's a compressor could I use compressor oil to eliminate the carbon buildup on the top of the secondary piston I'm on disability and I can't afford a lot and I want to make sure it lasts me for a long time
People have been having great luck with royal purple premium oil that has significantly reduced the carbon buildup on the Piston as well.
So far mine is holding up 👍 Thanks for the video…And it’s the size of a 12 pack.
Right on!
I got my compressor through your link, thanks so much for your videos!
What do you think of the GX CS4?
I finally have one, and I am preparing an episode on it. I have some issues with the marketing words being used, as they don't really hold water. It seems well built, but a bit pricey? I've only scratched the surface, more to come...
@@TargetForge good deal. Looking forward to seeing your review on it. It doesn't hold water???
@@bigfranksworld The compressor holds water just fine, the marketing claims DO NOT.
@@TargetForge ahhh, gotcha
Just bought it from your affilate link THANK YOU!
Awesome! Thank you!
👍🏻do you think i can fill my kral super duty rifle it has 1425 cc
I think you will be fine. From 0 Bar it might take some time and I would switch the pump off after 20 min and let the fans run for ten minutes, then finish the fill. Once you are pressurized and simply topping off you should be well within that 20 min window, probably more like 10-12 min for a refill.
thanks I'm going to order the compressor 👍🏻
how about a 1L botle for paintball for example, would that get the job done?
As good as my Yong
Heng does. There are better units now for less than $300 now that have built in inverter and automatic pressure shut off for $224.
Also I tried repairing the first one and customer service was hard to acquire.
This is my opinion nobody paid me to say anything.
Good looking Lil compressor. Thank you
Pretty stoked on it!
How long would it take to fill a Kral Empire X with a 500cc volume?
Pretty sure I mentioned it taking 6 min to fill a 480cc bottle on my crown. 20 cc more may take another min?
@@wruehl Sorry missed that. Seems reasonable, just ordered one, thank you.

Thank you. I am new to HPA and I am wondering, from everyone'a experience, would this be a good unit for paintball tanks? 48ci/3000psi.

The extra hose whip can be found here: amzn.to/3K4RWZS
Good luck!
Thanks for the great info I followed your link below to order one so you get a little kick back. This will replace my broken Nomad 2 (my fault)
Excellent!
How long does it take to fill a 3litre bottle?
It's not really meant for filling bottles. It's intended to fill the gun directly. Consequently I have no data on a fill of a container that large. If you were patient, only running it 20-30 min per run, allowed a cool down period between fill events, it would do it. Getting off the bottle is the secret here.
Would this be good for paintball air tank 68/4500
As long as you do not run it longer than 20 min at a time and allow a 10 min cool down (fans running) you will be fine.
How do you get more filters?
The large ones are here: amzn.to/3KFeu2A
The smaller one inside the filler block might be these? But I haven't tested them. www.ebay.com/itm/194918995659?hash=item2d6213d6cb:g:cM4AAOSwg6tiU1ak
To be honest I take them out, dry them, and reuse.

Any time!
I have the gsx with the 18v battery I use it to pump up my 25 cal airforce talon p carbine it works very good paid around 425oo amazon. So far so good
Great to hear!
could this be used to fill a 48ci or a 90 ci tank?
The C2 it is. Thanks and I look forward to your future videos.
I just don't see this thing filling a large 9 liter cf bottle which the young heng will.
GX CS 4 is out.
It is! And on the channel heavily. But the video was more about ditching the cf bottle, which the 2 and 3 do very well. Thank you for the comment!
Does it really get you up to 4500psi in a 4500 psi big bore?
Big bore or, .177, 4500 PSI is 4500 PSI. Most tanks are around 480cc so the volumes are the same.
You didn't show how to
hook up the air filter to it -
Yong Heng makes my grandaughters toy tank. Im looking for a pcp compressor. I'm confused
Not really sure what you are confused about? If you need a compressor and don't want to lug a large bottle around, use my Amazon link and get a GX CS2 or CS3.
Is it the same company? Oh and I bought the cs2 is it any good?@@TargetForge
Hey, good stuff, nuce channel!
Thanks and welcome
Do you think this little compressor would work good with 12 CF bottles for cleaning boats underwater?

None of those stages will make the air suitable for filling pcps in the long term, water in your airgun cylinder will be the long term result.

While I can see your sentiment here, making thinly vailed "fat jokes" in a video comment to a man who has survived a stoke, lost a ton of weight, put a bunch of it back on due to severe depression is probably not a meaningful use of your time.
