Thank you sue and puri .. i was in ipoh two months ago and i never did really had a chance to try some of you top foods . I had a lot of food though.. not to worry ive saved your video for my next visit .. oh yes ive never tried the moon noodles . Well done 🎉.. it uas given me inspiration .. when i go back home i need to find a ikan bakar stall .. didn't have a chance to try ikan bakar . All in all . Thank you . Regards from london
You guys should consider trying the portuguese egg tarts at Chung Confectionery Enterprise. It's the closest I can find to the ones i had in Macau in Ipoh. Very very worth the trip.
Not sure if you guys have done any videos on inexpensive studio apartments in Bukit Bintang or within a 15-minute monorail ride of it. I'm wondering if a monthly budget of $260 USD for a small studio with an aircon unit would suffice. I would mostly use the fan so I would hope that the price I mentioned would include water and electricity. Any info or links you guys could provide would be very much appreciated. Would make a great UA-cam video if you guys haven't done one on it.
Puri and Sue, enjoyed very much watching your videos. I definitely will try most (if not all) the foods that you mentioned. Here, I have one question for you: if my wife and I stay in Ipoh for 5 days, will you recommend us renting a car or using the Grab app?
Hi there! I'm not too sure if there are car rentals available in Ipoh, however I don't think it is worth paying around RM100+ per day (x4-5 days which totals up around RM500+) for renting a car to go around Ipoh, but that's just our opinion. There are Grab Car available which isn't too expensive, we paid RM7 from Travelodge Hotel to Tong Sui Kai (Dessert Street) and RM5 back to the hotel. We've found this post online about going around Ipoh, here's the link, theipohguide.com/getting-around-ipoh/ , hopefully this helps!
@@PuriandSue Thank you so much for your quick response and valuable information. It helps very much. Originally I am from Hong Kong, so I recognize few of the Cantonese food names in your videos. Thanks again.
Damn! I still can't get the right taste for the special simple made light soy sauce for the chicken and the bean sprout. Today, I am gonna sit on my table lab to get it right. HaHaHa. So delicious.
Hi. Here are the halal / Muslim friendly spots that we've visited in this video: 1. Deen CT Cendol Corner 2. Nasi Ganja - Kedai Kopi Yong Suan 3. Wong Kee Beancurd 4. Funny Mountain Soya Bean 5. Biscuits (check for Halal stamp) I hope this helps 😀
Malaysia/Singapore Hokkien English spoken toned down singsong accent. Contents are ok. Materials ok. Actors also good. Without Hokkien English the video are passable.
Hi there. We don't share the prices for this video because it's meant to give a basic idea of what dishes Ipoh is famous for and a suggestion of where we've tried it. Our video is not sponsored and it's all paid for by ourselves. We strive to spend the time and effort voluntarily to put together an informative and entertaining video for everyone. I hope this answers your questions. Thanks for watching.

Let your fingers do some walking. They are giving you the name of the actual restaurant, what they ordered and a map link. Your entitlement is breathtaking. Look it up on google maps yourself. Unbelievably rude!

Thank you very much for the recommendation. We'll check it out on our next visit to Ipoh 😄
Would you know if hotels in Ipoh are cheaper than the hotels in Kualla Lumpur?

Nothing for a vegetarian ! Very disappointing
