I almost cried doing this and feel on the verge of emotional after. Some slight raised levels of anxiety but I’m thinking about it positively and as a sign of that emotional stress starting to release
Thanks so much, Caitlin! I've just completed this yin session a little bit past midnight over here, and I've no doubt it'll let me sleep all the better. These poses worked wonderfully, and I only struggled a wee bit with the frog pose - always a challenge for me! Have a brilliant night and do please keep these coming when you can... particularly the yin videos (reflecting my own bias here). :) Best wishes from J, UK-based Canuck
You're so welcome, J! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Frog pose is definitely a more challenging one... it can help to put a pillow under your stomach or torso for added support :)
You did a great job! I wasn't sure I could feel calm after only 20 minutes - you did it! I'm adding this to my repertoire! I love how you incorporated the liver, gallbladder, spleen and kidney meridians to address anxiety, worry, fear and restlessness. ❤️ - Marisa
subscribed caused I liked it but for me, when I'm very anxious, it's difficult to be restless for so long. I suspect that those who can do all this 20 minutes are not suffering from severe anxiety
This is a very common feeling with anxiety! Yin can be a very challenging form of yoga for that reason, even for individuals that aren't experiencing acute anxiety. If you can push through that restlessness and discomfort and force your body to be still, the goal is that it will force your mind to be still as well. I'm thinking I could make another yin video, but start the practice with some high-energy movements to dissipate some of the stored energy and make it easier to sit in the longer poses. Do you think that would be helpful?
I HATE how it was just silent while holding the pose. I had to keep checking the video to make sure it wasn’t just paused? So I didn’t hold the poses for as long as I needed and this whole video just gave me even more anxiety.
I loved that there was finally a peaceful video with no music and not much talking. I hope your doing better with your anxiety, sending you kindness! ❤
I loved that it was silent. There’s hundreds of yoga videos on UA-cam. Find yours, instead of criticizing the ones others love💖 it’s not a flaw of the videos editing, you just don’t like it, and that’s okay. But it’s a bit strange to tell someone you hate something they’ve created, it’s for everyone that enjoys it not just for you💖

Loved the no music no sound. Sick of the over stimulation. Her voice was enough
That’s probably a could thing to be honest, maybe you can use the silence.
Exactly i love the silence and stillness
