I couldn't agree with you more brother, the sound adds to the experience of a sports car that's why I choose the Veloster n over the Honda Civic type-r because the exhaust on the type R sounds like a vacuum cleaner it's got no personality. So I like the sound of this intake. I don't like the heat shield because it is open to heat soak much more than the AFE Momentum. Keep in mind the AFE momentum has a plug to let in air from the engine compartment and in turn it let's out more sound than the stock box. This will produce more of a sucking sound but not nearly as much blow off fluttering as the intake in this video. The benefits to me is if it gets too hot on a summer day you can plug the box to stop heat soak and that's a serious option to have. All and all this intake and the AFE momentum are my favorites. Great video!
Thanks! Will have to see how it performs as the weather warms up and as I go on longer drives. I strongly considered the afe and may go to that in the future. We shall see

No not really it will probably run more poorly because it would pull in more hot air from the engine bay instead of from the front of the car... mmm thinking about it wouldn't harm the car too much it just wouldn't be as good as an actual intake because the sensor is inside the engine instead of the intake itself
@@Nehemiah1604 majority of air in the veloster n engine bay comes from that hole that leads to the air box so since air will still be flowing there it shouldn’t get to much hot air right?
