The Nitro Deck has a new firmware update available! This has multiple feature updates but we changed how you enter/exit wired mode to holding L3, R3, and + for 3 seconds. This helps prevent accidental mode changes.

Just updated to new firmware and it's still not working with my oled model.
Well the scratch resistant was a lie but besides that it's good
It’s not just compatible with the OLED; but unlike other similar devices, like the G-case, it actually has vent holes in the proper place for it, as well as it doesn't block the OLED's speaker's.
I do like the G Case but relying on the Joycons is a complete bummer. I can’t get past the tiny buttons and the sticks are truly better when used on something smaller like my Anbernics.
My only hope is that the switch 2 has the same dimensions as current models. Can't wait for mine to arrive

Unfortunate make sense Switch 2 bigger model, is why I'm holding and didn't purchased yet a Nitro Deck! Hope they don't release Dope Versions like the first ones and I miss it 😪

The likelihood of them sharing the same dimension is very small. I ordered a nitro deck regardless of rumors of a new console cuz I do think the nitro deck is gonna enhance the experience.

I have my white edition preordered and awaiting delivery! This the first tech gadget I've ever preordered in all my 41 years of age. :) Can't wait to have it in time for my Hawaii trip in January. I REALLY wanted the SNES color scheme but decided on the cheapest option until I get it in my hands. May order that color model in the future depending on how much I like the first one. Very excited for these to start shipping. Looks very promising in terms of build quality and features.
This switch has been such a horrible experience because I went through many pairs of joycons that started drifting badly within months. I also tried other brands and they all failed (even many hori split pad pros). I gave up and haven’t touched my switch for a long long time. I’m excited to get these and finally enjoy the switch. Freaking annoying Nintendo never fixed it. I never ever had drift problems with any of my other consoles, only the switch.

I can see using the dpad with the back buttons (being L1 and L2) being super useful
Lots of uses for back buttons. They're great.
I hadn't heard of this before.
But, this is almost perfect for me. When I travel I generally take switch as well as a controller to game with at PC cafe. This being PC compatible means I wouldn't have to carry an extra controller!

Have one in purple, looks just like a GBA/gamecube. Sensational product, so thoughtfully designed in every way. I use it almost everyday and for a while I was using it as a wired controller because its buttons and feel are that good. I don't really get the collection system but to each their own.

this looks amazing, i just wish the joystick under the face buttons were moved a little to the left like on regular wireless controllers because thats more comfortable. but programming the back buttons to the face buttons might mitigate this
The right joystick is the only reason I haven’t ordered one of these yet. It’s placement is mentioned in nearly every review I’ve watched and I’m surprised they didn’t catch onto it’s odd placement during R&D.
I have sooooooo many controller options for my beloved Switch OLED and across the range not one of them has delivered a “favorite” experience. Yes, I’ll be picking one of these up for sure. If it’s what I’m hoping then I’ll be making my first review in years.

$46 shipping to Canada from your website is insane... The total price of one of the "limited editions", the purple Gamecube themed edition, is $191 with tax to get shipped to Canada. That's unacceptable and going to cripple your orders from the Canadian market unless you work with a retailer to bring that price down so we can purchase without importing from the US directly as the buyer. I saw this and went to purchase one before finding out the cost isn't worth it currently.
But what is the dpad like. What about the face buttons
Super amped to get my hands on one of these. It really feels like it solves any switch issues for handheld I had.
Is there a fix for the d-pad yet? I'm not afraid of opening this thing up to fix if someone else did it first 😁. Has anyone played around with tape or anything? It's pretty egregious for old school platformers, and Tetris is nearly impossible. Also, it occasionally sticks when I press 'down'. This is incredibly disappointing because I got my Limited Run blue and this thing is stinking beautiful but that d-pad is trash and I can't play it.😢

I think that the Nitro Deck is amazing. I got mine a couple of weeks ago and i have finished 3 games with it. It made me wanna play my switch at the go for you don't have to worry about joy con drift that's the reason i got the Nitro Deck. The joy cons are probably my least favorite controllers.
I bought Game Cube version, but damn after seeing White on video I kinda want it too. Looks super slick and reminds me of stuff like Asus ROG Ally
I got the SNES color scheme. But yeah white looks so sick in this video.
Just Pre-Ordered the Persona 4 Golden one through Limited-Run and I'm actually really excited for it! When at my grandparents I cannot really use a monitor so handheld is the way to go there but it's PAIN especially with Splatoon. With this, better buttons, not needing to stop moving Booyah for bombs because of the weird placement by using the back buttons, more convenient charging port and more.

I just beat Red Dead Redemption 1 on my switch OLED using the purple nitro deck it's amazing the turbo mode works great for the running on foot and horses
Honestly this would be something I'd buy instantly and use if it had come earlier in the Switch's life. Considering we're about to move on to next gen, perhaps I'll just get for the collection.

I got to get my hands on a snes model; too bad it doesn’t have the infamous Snes inverted X & Y buttons that are amazing.
I hope they also release a Game Cube style layout with a Bigger A button surrounded with the smaller b & oval X & Y buttons.
I hadn't played my switch in ages but with the recent release of super Mario wonder I've been playing it allot both docked and in handheld mode. I have allot of different handheld options like hori split pad pro and the nyxi joy con both solid options but the nitro deck appealed to me so i ended up getting the SNES version and after a few hours of playing im definitely loving it. It's very comfortable feels very solid. i like the fact it has turbo and back buttons. I personally don't have any problem with the right stick placement i find it comfortable, on the other hand I'm not playing fps on my switch so maybe for those games it wouldn't be optimal. I have a og switch and oled switch and i feel like my oled will have a permanent home in the nitro deck. I would give it a 10 out of 10 when it comes to Nintendo switch accessories. If You are on the fence about buying one I would say get it

Just received my Glacier Blue deck yesterday via Limited Run Games and it is brilliant. Number 897 of 1284. First time I have been able to use my Switch handheld.

I accidentally put mine into turbo mode with the right trigger and could not figure out how I did it.

I like the size, the weight, the buttons..
The only downside I found: the small plastic lines on the koysticks. My fingertips are quite sensitive to that.

My Nitro Deck only seems to work when plugged in. I have tried everything and only works that way. The CRKD button is blinking white but won’t pair. I have my Switch pro controller wired communication on as well.
On the website it shows a really cool transparent atomic purple and green but those are not anywhere on the site for purchase? Also at the very end it shows a dark metallic red one which is not for sale either...
So pumped to get mine in!

Too bad the LED home button brigthness resets everytime you turn the switch on/off, meaning I have to set the brithness everysingle time
I’m regretting ordering mine through Limited Run. I want it at launch but I’ve since found out they have a reputation for taking months to send things out that are ready to go in their warehouse 😢

In any case, I'm kind of bummed that I won't be getting the extra thumbstick tops because I bought the deck and case separately (no case option with the black variant).

I got the Switch lite because something like this was low in stock. Glad it's doing well lol.
I feel like this needs a revision to bring the dpad & the right joystick upward and inward a bit, if you compare it with the Joycons you've actually made the layout even more uncomfortable because your thumbs don't have enough space to move.
Im considering returning mine tbh. I got the white one and the glowing button shines thru the white plastic, which feels cheap as well. The d-pad location is uncomfortable and the trigger buttons in the back once in a while will get pressed by accident. Plus there’s. No amiibo support for this
Question. Do all models have the same colored CRKD button light?
I ask because I scanned mine into the app and i got a diamon rarity and the CRKD buttons light is the same color as the logo next to the quality readout.
Its probably just wishful thinking but it would be a nice touch.

To remove the toppers you say that I have to twist and pull the topper. I have to twist left or right? Is it necessary to twist and pull at the same time? I'm afraid to damage the joysticks by removing the toppers the wrong way.

I just bought a brand-new nitro deck and connected it to my switch , following the instructions on this UA-cam video.
My Nitro deck was working on the home screen and worked on my Pokémon violet for about 10 minutes before all the buttons stopped working whilst in the game including the cracked/ home button .
I took my console out of the nitro deck and connected my joy cons in order to get back to the home screen and then reconnected to the nitro deck where it works on the home screen and does not work in games …

My nitro decks home button has been glowing green and whenever I press the a button it starts flashing and inputting the a button rapidly, I can’t get it to stop does anyone know how

Does it have continuous auto turbo? I need a button continously pressed even when i'm away from the switch, like the Hori switchpads can.
Why can't design companies make their stuff as straightforward as this controller attachment? I wish companies are as forward looking as CRKD.
What's the point? Does it overclock the cpu like the dock does? Seems pointless vs other large hand controllers.
