Many thanks for taking the time to take a close look at our new MagShift and for giving us an honest review.
Unfortunately we can hear in the video (around the 5m10s mark) that there is a technical issue with your unit. The squeeky noise is not normal and this can (and should) be fixed. This sound also points to extra friction inside the unit which will also influence the feel of the shifter.

Another UA-camr 'The Sim Circuit' has the same squeeky noise problem. For this price, i am so disappointed.
Yeah it honestly looked like it could be a ebay shifter the handle looks incredibly cheap l, and that “slight”spring noise was pretty bad for $400. So I 100% agree
Personally, if I was going to spend this much I'd just pony up the extra for a Jinx V2. It is a sim version of the one they make for real Aussie V8 Supercars.
Oktane Designs also have magnetic resistance, cheaper price, better look, more satisfying click.
I bought the mag shift and I already had the sg shifter. I think the mag shift was going for a more tactical high end car shifter where as the sg is more a Rally style shifter. The mag shift does feel more responsive, kinda like you would fine on a high end street car, and the sg does have a more pronounced engagement. I think it’s going to depend on what style you’re going for. After testing it for a few weeks it’s staying on my rig and selling the Sg. But it depends on your style and what you want of a shifter.
I'm looking for a shifter at the moment and in my opinion I think this one is 40% more expensive than it should be
It would be nice if you made a video with the Simagic Q1 to see your impressions

I think the best high-end sequential shifter is the Manufactory SSH14 Porsche GT3 replica. For roughly $440 I think it looks the best as well.
Have their handbrake works alright but guess good thing went with SG-Racing SQ Shifter.

@@OCRacing But an honest opinion. I saw the price and video of this shifter on Heusinkvelt YT channel - nope. Not with this price. 456€ in EU 🤯 From the looks of it - my diy seq. shifter works much better, has easier tension setting and feels like you are putting a gear into a mean machine. And it cost me a fraction of this thing. 😁
I love my Heusinkvelt Sprint pedals. They are great and work flawless for 4 years. But this shifter is just overpriced. Like it was made for 2019 market. With no competition.
You should maybe take a look at the SHH Thorn. They might’ve fixed the issues you found with the newt2

Quick Question what are your thoughts on csl dd 8nm i see that u are still using it even though u have stronger wheel bases
Alot of people use lower FFB on rally games, that may be why. Im sure Fanatec is a good wheel if you are not looking for more, Gplaps uses one as well.

It’s crazy in this day and time to pay that much for a shifter that does the same thing like many others. There are better options much cheaper and with equal quality.

Okay disappointed.. I was looking at this shifter to be my first shifter, I think I’ll go look somewhere else. I really like Heusinkveld products, but why the bare metal look on everything. Make it in black to so look wise it fits the rig.
