Please many more of these. I ignored them for weeks because I thought they'd just be clip jobs, but the contestants actually talking us through each of the tasks is fun and sweet.

@@zyaicob absolutely, it can be embarassing to watch back in isolation but it's pretty chill and entertaining for the most part, and the times it got bad (the Infamous hammock task) she even apologised immediately

Come on Lou! That pan toss combined Sally Phillips’ jelly toss, Acaster’s hula hooping, and Jessica Knappett’s famous drum-strike walk. It was brilliant.

I do find it fascinating how Lou since the airing of the infamous "Barrel dad" episode has gone on to defend Iain in podcasts, interviews etc. saying that's just how they talk to each other and so forth, yet seems to be incredibly harsh on her own behaviour here towards Paul. Whereas even these few clips here of Iain reminded me of how utterly abhorrently he behaved for many of these tasks - being annoyed at Lou just for wanting to talk first, ignoring her idea of a big coat entirely, being snappy, rude and condescending. And while Lou here seems to feel actual regret over even being slightly short with Paul, Iain I feel never actually realized how bad his behaviour was. Like even in the studio, where he *seems* to catch a glimpse of himself, he immediately tries to justify it by digging into Lou again. Anyhow, Lou is very lovely and this interview was very very funny. Thank you TM, looking forward to more of these! ❤

Definitely one of the stronger ones. Was rooting for Lou right from the start. She just had that winning fire. Then she devastated Alex in the apology task... just brilliant.

The only thing I didn't understand is at 2:35 when Lou says she doesn't have a partner. Though in a way it makes sense: when you've been to the mountaintop that is being Taskmaster Champion, everyone else must look pretty small.

I'm always baffled by how these comedians and entertainers are so self-conscious about their behavior on ENTERTAINMENT programs. Literally anything goes to make people laugh and enjoy themselves and you can't allow yourself to be embarrassed by your own profession.
I don't really understand the conceit of this series. The description says that they pick their "ultimate episode" but it seems like they're just watching these clips for the first time since they aired . And these clips aren't even their best moments or their funniest moments. I'm confused.

Really soured my impression of him, something that had previously happened a couple of seasons prior with Russell Howard. & Paul Sinha - professional quiz champion & stand-up known outside TM for being one of the Chasers on The Chase, best known inside TM for being the kindly old fella, rather befuddled and in a lot of physical pain post-op pre-filming, so required more help from Alex than is usual and some tasks tailored accordingly (it didn't affect results). vs the team of two, being: Joe Thomas - comedy actor best known outside TM for The Inbetweeners, best known inside TM for being cripplingly awkward, self-doubting, self-effacing & bashful. I couldn't stand his character in The Inbetweeners but he came across really well in this. & Sian Gibson - comedy actor best known outside TM for being one of Peter Kay's regular sidekicks, especially in Car Share, best known inside TM for being a charming little cutie, building a great working relationship with Joe and trying to flirt with Alex to make him feel awkward/weasel more points out of Greg. British people must have a strong sense of "propriety." She was apologizing quite a bit, especially for "clapping too much" and "dancing when winning pan hoop." I don't see anything wrong with that. Celebrate your wins. It seemed like pure joy, not gloating.
A while back there was a lot of needlessly hurtful comments people made across reddit and youtube complaining that Lou was too competitive and arrogant. The simple fact is, she wasn't. If she ever was, she knew she was being cheeky, it was all hilarious and playful but if she read those comments then it would explain why she's so extremely hesitant to validate her confidence looking back in this vid. Fanbases can be stupid idiots sometimes but Lou is awesome and had every right to lash back out and make things uglier but she didn't cause she's zen like that and probably grew from the experience. Also I could be totally misreading and making connections that aren't there, so just a caveat to take this with a grain of salt. Most people love Lou but sometimes the bad eggs can get to someone and I was worried they'd upset her cause I loved her and everyone on her series :(

Neither British nor American are a more 'correct' version of English. There is also no singular version in any one country, they all have different dialects and accents within. It would be incredibly arrogant to think that of all the centuries and all the versions spoken in different places by billions of people, and will continue to change in the future, the singular version one speaks at this point in time is The Correct version. All accepted usages and pronunciations are equally valid.
i wasnt a fan of joe going into the series but i warmed to him during it. agreed on sian, largely as paul struggled and lou & iain were too abrasive & always clashing in an ugly competitive sense. just seeing the group task clips again in this brought all that back. one of my least fave series (not that ive actually bothered to rank them all).
I don't mind her, but I get it. For me she's not as boring as Mae Martin or Liza Tarbuck, or as annoying as Daisy May Cooper, in fact I'd put her closer to the middle.

I think that Make Martin was boring, to the point where I'll say she's the only one who broke the formula. She was excellent in doing tasks and therefore a justified winner but so incredibly unentertaining.

I’m quite used to British accents, but I have to really concentrate with this video. The sound (of Lou in the little 🎉room) is also very hissy.
