To lollipop your plants cut the lower branches off during the vegetative growth phase.
Indoors the top canopy gets most of the light. The lower part of the plant produces very little yield (mostly popcorn buds), yet it causes excessive humidity build up, and blocks beneficial air flow.
Even though branches are removed, Lollipopping can actually improve yield because the plants growth energy is redirected to the top half (not wasted on bottom half).
Removed branches can be used for clones.

You do NOT want to cut your branches flush with the stalk. Any infection will immediately go into the stalk. Cut your branches leaving at least 1/4" stem ,so, that if it becomes infected for any reason, it will stop, or you can cut it off before it starts invading into the stalk.

I like to keep all that stuff all the crystals that grow on it as it's Budden perfect for oil just make sure you ain't got no mold I find it doesn't affect the top Bud size whatsoever and you get lots of oil out of that stuff

Not sure in autoflowers to do it this time, they are at this stage...I feel depending ofThe strain I have checked sometimes you loose weight, some you win. Right now I got Pineapple Express auto, northern lights autos and cookies with some low flowers. They look like yours more or less. Probably I should cut them while they soft. Any opinion to prune this autos...? Thanks.
Don't water your plant after trimming, as the cut area can also get infected. Best to cut in great air flow area to allow the plant to heal.

this is very untrue.
you want to remove ALOT of your plant and make the top few cola spread out and each get their own spot in the light.
the plant also needs good ventilation so cutting 3 or 4 nodes from the bottom is really good.
dont worry that plant is going to grow ALOT after the trim.
obviously there is going to be a difference between autoflower and non autoflower.
since you can control more what u want ur plant to be like.
but you REALLY REALLY want to cut most of the stem clean.
and sooner better then later cuz every bit of energy it has put in leaves and branches takes energy and time.
the sooner you do it the better cuz the plants can grow more after and also preserve lost energy.
if you do this good then ur gunna make ur top cola huge, and you will have multiple per plant. ;)

jett888 making hash with the fan leafs is useless if there is no tricromes on it, you can also use the leafs to uses as an alternative paper when your rolling up. Search up thai sticks and you will understand...

So how many nodes do you recommend keeping on each branch??? Should I just keep the very top bud side or a couple on each branch
never remove more than 1/3 of the total leaves. Otherwise the plant gets a shock.

Check it out, use cool white florescent lights !!! If you hang your lights on pulleys system you can set your lights 2" above your plants they will grow in to the lights every day. They don't put any heat off!!!

This could not be more wrong for today's standards... you needed cut the main top down to even out the height with the rest of the plants branches. Clean up the under growth a little on each branch. You want the plant to look like a 🤴 "kings crown". 7-8 mains before flowering.

I use scissors to trim my plants. Not just any pair of scissors, ones meant to cut hair. Very sharp. Lose the razor.

Mark Romero the whole point is to cut the bottom leaves they take nutrition that would go into the top where u need it cutting it would eliminate lack of nutrition being wasted in the bottom of the tree and time in some cases like if u dn have good lights amd so on
Not so much about age. Your bottom leafs are bound to die anyway. You should be cutting off the first four stages of leafs you’ll notice that they will start to die off first. Count the “fingers” of the leafs as each stage has a different amount, this is how you’ll know which leafs you’re cutting.
Fan leafs are good for your plant, so don’t go crazy cutting them all off. Fan leafs are what sucks the light in.
My only tip would be to not cut off any branches unless you’re about to clone your plant, other than that I’d keep all branches on until flowering stage then cut what you know isn’t going to get much light. That way your plant will use its energy in places that will yield you more.

This is not how you fine tune and supercrop a plant. This is an inexperienced grower with low level knowledge on what and how to correctly supercrop a plant. This is the wrong way
Dam im a newb, and that was way to much pruning the Plants need some of there leaves “as they feed from them too” defo if u Foiler Spray Or Top Dress, I never Cut any “Branches” of unless there right at the bottom and I know there never gonna produce the Buds I want,
If you Vegged & Topped your plants properly then u would end up with two main colas some get lucky and get an extra 4/6 new bud/cola sites, I got 4 plants 2 have 3 main top Colas “Luck” this is the First time iv ever done a Topped grow felt wrong cutting the top of my plant “a lot say topping damages your crop I disagree” long as u don’t go crazy and Prune the plant too much. I kinda lost Schedule on my weeks as lost my pad with writing info on! But roughly week 4/5 veg im gonna let them recover/Strechtch abit them flip them into Flower! Hopefully all goes well it’s looking good lush green leaves ect “healthy”

Depends on your setup. If it's super crowded & you have tons of plants, it's gonna be easier to get rid of the extra bits. If you only have a couple plants, the risk of mold/bugs/poor circulation will not be sufficient to require removing the branches. (I did think he cut a LOT at once, though).
