Low light never in the sun depending on your climate possibly in a shaded area would work outside but the sun will be to much and probably kill the clone and if you use lights you don’t need a powerful light.

Do u need cloning gel to clone or can you do it without gel
It’s best to use something cloning gel or aloe even honey works and you can just clone by dipping in water.
