The Quiet's Real name is Gary! || Slay the Princess

For those not in the know, Black Tabby Games made an April Fool's patch for Slay the Princess which had an additional dialogue option of naming the main character Gary.
Now, is there a lore explanation?

What I always find amusing is that there's always at least one a type of character that is essentially an eldritch god that embodies the certain concepts of reality... to have a name as mundane like Gary in this case.
