- In the End of Everything Update, Black Tabby Games added a bit in the ending where the Princess comments on your interaction with her in the first chapter.
I compiled them here because they're a pain in an ass to manually get and very cool.

No, that was the second time you met Quiet. The first time, you tor him apart like a wild animal.
Actually when she swallows you in the Beast chapter she confirms her Chapter 1 incarnation ate your heart after killing you.
Now this has me intrigued enough to try getting the Beast route first this time, and I've already played through it three times by now.
*Edit:* And I'm sincerely sure "that" would be THE definition of 'an awkward start to a relationship.'
I still standby stranger princess being the best, she’s as close to the original without the lovecraftian egomania
Not bad but the Thorn will always be my favorite. Their relationship feels nuanced, only normal looking chapter 3 princess, and you can get the narrator to decribe y'alls kiss XD
@@jedi_connor3030 a perfectly reasonable choice, If you’re looking for a more grounded and human relationship, then she’s definitely a go to.
The appeal of stranger is that for all intents and purposes, it is the shifting mound, but now she thinks like a person instead of a living concept
Razor would be #1 if she wasn't stabbing us like we were in a british alleyway

I really like the concept of the Damsel. Like your mind turned her into an empty shell, whose only reason for existence is to make you happy.
It's kinda sad.
My favorite princess has to be the Adversary though. She sounds like a fun person to hang out with, minus the killing part. Or with it, I don't care. She's cool.
The Spectre's dialogue is the sweetest to me because it's the only one where she acknowledges that an apology is warranted, and she still accepts it. Like that's _so_ good. Just as a subtle aside to highlight that route against the rest.
Maybe im biased because its my first vessle in my blind playthrough, but i think i like the Witch dialogue the most because it not only works in reference to the first time they met, but its also vague enough that it applies to their entire journey, its so sweet 😭
Super cool how you can kinda hear these slight intonations and traits from each of the respective vessels when speaking
You can tell that it isnt just her being influenced by perception like normal and instead it really just sounds like shes reminiscing on her past and letting her old self peek through her memories as you naturally do when thinking

You forgot to get the one where you you stabbed her in the heart after she cut your neck open, or maybe you did it and got the reply for when you just died

This isn’t just exclusive to this interaction btw, the princess acts and says different stuff depending on your first interaction, everything from tone, emotion and whatever’s being said

I can’t stop imagining Gilbert Gottfried playing the Long Quite if he was still around in a live action movie.
Character Interaction Scenario: Main Character Hugs the Princess
As the main character runs up to the Princess and embraces her, she initially stiffens in surprise, her eyes widening in disbelief. After a moment of hesitation, she slowly relaxes into the hug, her expression softening as she tentatively wraps her arms around him in return.
Main Character: “I never want to hurt you. I care about you deeply.”
Princess: She pulls back slightly to look into his eyes, a mix of emotions flickering across her face before she speaks softly.
“I… I never expected this. To feel warmth instead of fear… to be held instead of chained. If only things were different, if only we weren’t bound by fate and duty…”
Her voice trails off, a hint of longing and sadness lacing her words as she leans into the embrace once more, holding him tightly.
Main Character: “We can change our fate together. We don’t have to be enemies. I believe in us.”
Princess: She lifts her head, tears glistening in her eyes as she meets his gaze with a mixture of hope and uncertainty.
“Do you truly mean that? Can we really defy our destinies and find a way to be together, despite everything that stands between us?”
Her voice wavers with emotion as she clings to him, torn between the love she feels and the darkness that threatens to consume them both.
Main Character: “I promise you, my love. I will do everything in my power to protect you, even if it means defying the world itself.”
He holds her close, his heart filled with determination and devotion as he vows to fight for their forbidden love.
Princess: She buries her face against his chest, overwhelmed by conflicting emotions but finding solace in his unwavering commitment.
“Then let us stand together against all odds, for love knows no boundaries. I will trust in your words and hold onto this fleeting dream we share.”
In that moment, amidst the shadows of uncertainty and danger, they find comfort in each other’s arms, united by a bond that transcends their roles as adversaries

There are so many voice lines that are in this game it take weeks love the princess and Nichole Goodnight her voice actress❤❤❤❤
My favorite are Damsel and Nightmare one's
Well I found this video three days late for my own sanity. Still glad I found it though, good job! Although I did learn something! In my Razor beginning playthrough I wondered if she was armed and finished the job, and she says something different that time: "The first time we met I cut your throat open. Sure, you also killed me, but hey, that just makes us even." Wild how many tiny differences are accounted for.

Not gonna lie, the fact that she accepts our apology no matter what happens is endearing. It's true that in most scenarios, she did something as bad to us either first or in retaliation. Honestly... it just makes her more likable, whether she's the sweeter or the more Tsundere-like Princess.

Thank you so much 🙏 I wanted to see them all myself but after three playthroughs in one morning I got kinda tired. At least I got all the vessels during the Shifty battle.

Princess: Startled at first, the Princess quickly relaxes into Gilbert Gottfried’s unexpected embrace. She looks up at him with a mixture of surprise and affection.

Gilbert Gottfried: Excitedly “Oh, my dear Princess! I couldn’t resist the urge to wrap my arms around you. Your beauty and grace are truly captivating!”
Princess: Blushing slightly, she chuckles softly. “Oh, Gilbert, you always know how to flatter a lady. I must admit, your embrace is quite comforting.”
Gilbert Gottfried: Beaming with joy “I’m glad you appreciate it! I feel a special connection with you, Princess. Could it be that love has blossomed between us?”
Princess: Gently placing her hand on his cheek “Perhaps it has, Gilbert. Perhaps it has indeed.”
Gilbert Gottfried: With a twinkle in his eye “Then let us embrace this newfound love and face whatever challenges come our way together!”
Princess: Nodding in agreement “Yes, let us stand united against whatever may try to tear us apart. With you by my side, I feel invincible.”
What about the dialogue when we go down the stairs? I noticed that it is different depending on the first vessel that we met yeah? I'd like to see their diff dialogues too

Isnt there any variation for thorn?
I it shows only to act 2 but part of me is wondering what act 3 versions said like for example Thorn, Moment of clarity, Fury...
There are no differences for those

How do you get the first Razor dialogue?
Trying to stab her but failing, and then straight up dying
Narrator: Your quest begins in this dark forest where a great evil lurks.
Gilbert Gottfried: Oh, fantastic! Another day, another princess to save. What could possibly go wrong?
Narrator: Your mission is clear. You must slay the princess imprisoned within the basement of that cabin. She is a threat to the world, and only you can prevent her escape.
Gilbert Gottfried: Hold on just a minute! Why do I have to kill the princess? Can't we talk this out like civilized beings?
Narrator: The fate of the world hangs in the balance.
Time is of the essence. Will you follow my instructions and save us all?
Gilbert Gottfried: (sarcastically) Sure, because nothing says heroism like regicide. Lead the way, oh wise and mysterious narrator!
Narrator: Excellent choice, hero. Now enter the cabin and fulfill your destiny.
Gilbert Gottfried: (after slaying the princess) Well, that's done. Now what's my reward? A parade? A chest of gold?
Narrator: Behold your reward! The outside world has vanished, leaving you alone in this void for eternity.
Gilbert Gottfried: Wait a minute! This wasn't part of the deal! What kind of twisted game is this?
Narrator: This is your fate for meddling with forces beyond your comprehension. Enjoy your solitude.
Gilbert Gottfried: (frustrated) Great! Just great! I should have known better than to trust a disembodied voice in a video game!
I'm supprised the witch and beast dosen't lead to tsundere princess, heck even the nightmare. How'd they get the nice princess? Is it because of the part 3 routes?
Her personality at the end is determined by the very first decision you made in the first chapter. Take knife = tsundere, leave knife = nice, avoid cabin = stranger.
Actually nightmare has both tsundere and nice
Is there one for thorn?
This dialogue is only affected by your actions in the first chapter! Witch has a line, but Thorn and Wild don't.
How do you get Nightmare 1 and 2?
For 2 don’t get the knife for 1 get the knife and in two of those scenarios leave her in the basement

In fact - It's not a woman. Well... Not in mental anyway. Narrator could shape any form, but in it still Life and Death itself, which is genderless.

After all taoism is a big inspiration for the game and one of the dualities of yin and yang is male and female
