Thank you for this video! We replaced the crank position sensor first also. Our crank no start on a 2000 Safari 4.3L is only when its humid outside. I'm positive its the coil now. I went out with a hair dryer and left it on the coil for about 5 minutes and the van finally started. The coil should be delivered in the mail today. We also got the ICM as well because why not I while everything is opened up and its right there. We have 100K miles on the van... hoping we get over 250K like yours!
When I got this van it was barely running. But working on a few things here and there and it just keeps getting better. It went from barely running to a 1000 mile road trip with no problems
There's a connector right in front of the gas tank that causes intermittent fuel pressure. I used silver conductive grease, and have had no issues since. I think it's 6 or 8 wires, white rectangular plug.
Mine was temperature sensitive. Do you have good fuel pressure? Do you have spark at the plugs? You can get a loner fuel pressure gauge from auto parts stores.
