Same thing is going wrong with my 2019 Highlander. Taking it back to dealer again. Are you sure this will fix it and it’s not another problem that will be expensive in the upcoming years? They say it is I don’t drive it enough to keep battery charged. Do I need to replace it and get a new car?

I was having this problem. It eventually started. But I read a comment on this video that worked for me. Put parking brake on, accessory on only, not started. Dont press the break but hold the power button down forn15 seconds and do a reset. It worked for me.

My RAV4 did the same thing last night.
What’s happed was my wife started the car with remote and Immediately open the car,
So the car turned off and when she tried to start the car it , it wouldn’t start.
So what I did was, start the car with remote and waited for two minutes and I was able to start it with push button.

This just happened to me today but kept trying and got it going. The car has been stood a while and only doing short journeys. Is it the 12v battery that needs changing?

If the remote battery becomes low, an alarm will sound in the cabin when the hybrid system stops.

I had the same problem with my 2019 highlander hybrid. Brought it into the dealer and they said it was my battery. They're going to replace it

Happened to me - checked the owner manual. Put parking brake on, turn on to accessory, keep in park, hold start button 15 seconds (that's the emergency start).

This happened to me on my Camry Hybrid 2009 *after replacing the battery *
Seems like new batteries are not changed enough for the car to start. So jumped it while the new battery is still installed. Solved the problem.
