  • The broccoli and carrot salad is easy to make, healthy, requires only 5 ingredients and is ready in minutes!
    Recipe: Broccoli and Carrot Salad | Easy and Healthy Salad
    Ingredients:
    2 large carrots, 301g (10.6 oz)
    2 broccoli, 824g (29.1 oz)
    70g (½ cup) of roasted sunflower seeds
    2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
    Salt and pepper
    Instructions:
    1. Grate the carrots or cut into thin strips and cut the broccoli into florets.
    2. On high heat, bring water to a boil. Once water is boiling, add the broccoli florets. Cook for 6 to 6 ½ minutes. Drain.
    3. In a large bowl, add the carrots, broccoli, sunflower seeds, mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste. Toss until combined.
    4. Serve on its own or as a side dish.
    Notes/Tips:
    The salad can last in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
    Once the broccoli is cooked, add it to the salad bowl. No need to cool down.
