As a man, it’s taught that it’s feminine to take care of your hair, or have long hair at all, so I haven’t exactly been able to ask me female peers on hair advice, thank you for this.
toxic masculinity
@@4everrbrooke exactly. I deep condition my man's hair. We loooove taking care of ourselves so he enjoys it a lot and I do too.
@@4everrbrooke or it’s just being masculine most men never have that
@@martinroybal4231 toxic masculinity. Caring for your body, which includes your hair, should not be seen as feminine.
@@4everrbrooke3 years late I think this stems from Colonialism, we were told our hair is bad and we were forced to cut it off and leave it short
...randomly typed in " the benefits of deep conditioning" and then I found this gem. Subscribed!
I deep condition once a week alternating between moisture and protein deep conditioners. I use them after I shampoo and I add oil on top of them. This helps me moisturize my scalp and prevent dandruff. Overtime I have noticed extreme hair thickness and great length retention and healthy hair in general. I definitely buy my deep conditioner because I hate DIYs.
Wow, what a great routine! I can see why’d you’d have stronger longer, and thicker hair. I know it’s beautiful 😍

Thanks this really helped me I’m transitioning to natural also!💕
I love everything about this, the information, the animations, and the little funny scenes. Keep it up I love being informed in a fun way ❤️❤️❤️😂
Tbh I don’t even think I ever deep conditioned. Like I’ve always been confused because there are so many conditioners, such as leave in, rinse, and deep. So I never really thought deep conditioning was this important. The conditioner I use is the ORS replenishing orange one and I put it all over my head and finish showering then rinse it off, that’s like 7-15 minutes. My hair is low porosity and it would kinda dry out easily through out the week and I guess it’s because I don’t deep condition, my wash day is tomorrow so I’m leaving that conditioner in for an hour. I feel like it’ll leave my hair more moisturized for days. And I’m gonna have to buy because I’m Haitian and my mom would spazz on me if she found out I been using her expensive honey, eggs, and olive oil😂. Thanks for the video again it helped a lot ❤️!
This is exactly the response I hoped to receive from the animations, so I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for all the love and support! ☺️💕
This is why I specifically made this video - I had realized so many naturals and people with hair period didn’t understand the importance of deep conditioning and/or didn’t know the difference between a deep conditioner, leave in conditioner, protein conditioner, etc. I’m glad that after watching this it has not only clarified that difference, but you also now know the importance of a deep conditioner on your easy day! Hopefully things have went well since you left this comment 💕 Wishing you the best of luck on your journey 😊
I am really glad that I came across with this channel, really amazing
Glad you came across it too! ☺️ Thank you for all the love and support! 💕

I love this video - the production quality is 🔥
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Awesomeness! You definitely broke it down Sis.👍:) I am a former buyer of all things haircare, but am schooling myself to become a DIY'r from here on. So through years of Dominican styling techniques my hair is screaming No More! please stop it you're going against the grain (natural kink) and health of our roots. Defiance has taken the form of damage, breakage, shedding and dryness. Which all 4 on the list are seemingly trying to one up the other.:) The Natural Hair Care Industry is booming and don't come cheap, and this Sistah ain't got Beyonce's Bag.💰 With that said I've been gleaning from Natural heads, such as yourself:) and other UA-camrs to salvage and care for what's left. A big Thanx on the tutorial, which is so on point. I'm a visual learner, and your graphic game, along w/your cuing is amazing. This would be fun to watch if I wasn't looking for Hair knowledge.😉💚😀
Thank you for your support, and I’m happy to hear you’ve stuck out your natural journey even though it sounds like it’s been anything but easy sometimes. It definitely takes a creative and determined hair lover such as yourself to really see the results we work at! Keep it up, you will get what you’re working for
This was such an amazing vedio ❤️
This video is on point!
Watching your Video really make me feel confident. best channel ever😁❤️

Thank you for the video. 😊 The instructions with the product was sadly lacking. Ours is so very stiff. My mother cannot adjust it herself so it has to be returned. 😢
I L❣VE THIS VIDEO! Thank you.
Could u please do a video about protein treatments ❤️❤️❤️thx
Thanks 😊 for this video love
You're more than welcome, thank YOU for watching and commenting! :)
So helpful
I've finally started deep conditioning within the last few weeks. I have dreads but I need something for the new growth.
Anywho, I should have _been_ used deep conditioner. My hair is thick and sucks up moisture like a sponge. I got one that needs to be rinsed out, and one that I apply in the morning/ every other morning.
The difference is astounding. My hair is so soft and shiny that I had to look up a UA-cam video to see how it works. When I go get my hair retwists, my hairdresser puts me in for a deep conditioner every other appointment. Hopefully, I can cut that out and save some money now.
Excellent video !
I’m so glad you think so ☺️ thank you for watching and commenting! 💕
My favorite deep conditioners is tgin and Shea moisture
This video explained deep conditioning soo well. Could you possibly make a video about protein treatments😊
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you for watching! I will look into it, thanks for the suggestion!

I would used to deep condition before and after shampooing.
Love the animation!
I’m so glad to hear that! 😁💕
Amazing, Question: How do you know which deep conditioner is moisturising or protein?
And for DIY how do you make your own deep conditioner either a moisturising one or a protein boost?
Greats video, if I have a deep conditioner is there any point of buying a conditioner xx
Need to know what conditioner to use.
I'm the only one in my family with curls, so there is no one who can teach me about it. So I'm thankful for this channel🥰
I'm so glad!
Queen Eli so your mum or dad don’t have curls??
@@fcerti well one used to have curls, but now the aging has taken over😅😂😂
hello!!!!! i want to thank you lots because i don’t know anything about curly hair since my family either have natural soft wavy hair or straighten it to death. i’ve been trying to keep my hair natural and been embracing it and loving it since i was 15 (it’s been two years now) but my curls are just so very dry. this helps out a lot, so thank you
I'm so glad this video was able to help you when it's been difficult finding answers from your family! You've got this, keep it up! Your curls will love you for it!

Thank You Now I know. I had locs for 10 years. I’m 15 now and i recently took out my love without knowing anything about natural hair🤦🏽♀️. I lost a lot of length to breakage but I know more than I did😌. Once again thank you for clearing that up for me 😌.
I’m so glad this video helped you! ☺️💕 And that you were able to learn how to care for your hair in this new part of your natural hair journey! You got this - keep it up!
You had lots when you were 5??
i need moisturizer onee soo baddddd
“Heat training Hair, What is it?” can we get this video soon please?
Thank you so much for this video! It was so helpful! Also how do you tell what is a deep conditioning product? Which is best?
What products make up a moisturizing conditioner
I deep condition only when I do my wash shampoo wash day I'm going to use my conditioner as a deep conditioner a CO wash and a detangler and a leave in conditioner it's so moisturizing the conditioner I'm talking about is renpure advanced almond milk and Shea butter clarify and shine conditioner it's so moisturizing it gives me the best slip it makes my curly hair super soft and super moisturize and soft 🥰🥰🥰🙌🏽🙌🏽 you got to try it out and it has no silicones and it is plant-based 🥰🥰😁😁🥰🥰👍🏾👍🏾
With a glowing review like that, I gotta see about trying BOTH! I’m already a SheaMoisture fan, can definitely be a Renpure one too!
@@CollegeCurls yeah just be careful because some other products contain silicones and I will avoid that all cost silicones are bad for curly hair 🙅🏾♂️🙅🏾♂️🙅🏾♂️
Im a buyer, I deep come about once a month, what's a mask? Can you do a video on a hair mask? I just found your channel, new subbie.
Thanks 🙏
No problem 😊
