I'm looking to do the whole set of Core on my 2011 ram. I was going with the fixed length since I don't plan on lifting my truck. How are you liking them so far?
Got an 09 Aspen that I'll be doing upper rears to this weekend. My main concern is the axle shifting and not being able to line it up again. Would you jack it up for the uppers? Can't seem to find a decent spot for jack stands asides from the axle as well.
If you did that, the axle will no longer be where it's supposed to be. You adjust the arms to match the arms you've removed in order to keep the axle in the correct position
@DallinSchreiber I mean, if it wasn't much of an adjustment it shouldn't affect it too much BUT making them longer than the factory ones without doing a lift can put unnecessary stress on everything else. I personally am a fan of keeping everything in spec lol
@@j.lauzon yeah I like being 4.0 I just didn’t know about this part. My truck does actually have a 4” lift, and I only extended a couple turns compared to the factory ones
The rears look great!! 👏🏻 can’t wait to see them put to the test.
Appreciate it 🙌 Thank you again for opportunity & support 🙏
Thanks for the torque suggestion. I’ve seen so many conflicting numbers.
Ya I kept seeing a lot of different numbers thrown out there as well BUT 160 was what I saw most & what most folks were telling me to go with

I really like them for the few months I had the truck after this upload. I traded it in at the end of 2022 lol

What would happen if you just adjusted the length to make the holes line up, instead of adjusting the jack/using a pry bar to make the holes line up?

@@j.lauzon I’ll have to go back and fix that then lol. It rode way better than before

did you ever do rear uppers?
Which ones did you get?
They're the tier 4 arms
@@j.lauzon thanks
@@kingcat01 no problem at all. If you're ordering a set don't forget yo use code h8ed to save a bit!
Wouldn't it have been a little easier if you had taken off the rear tires
Nope. There's no real reason to do that
