Wrong. James used Mesa Boogie Mark IIC++ DRG (simul-class) head, he still has and uses it to this day. He slaved it into Mesa Boogie Strategy 400 power amp which is just stereo Coliseum power amp (200/200). There were actually very few C+ Coliseum heads, 56 overall were made and probably less than 10 of them were ever modded to ++ spec (I've seen 2 in my entire life). And he never slaved any amp into the C++, Kirk only slaved his C++ to a JCM 800 which was modded to bypass the whole preamp section and go directly into the power amp although he used it only for few solos. PS. What you hear on Puppets album is a raw C++ DRG with a parametric EQ unit in the loop through a Marshall 1960B cab.
That tone is also harder to get ppl don't realize he tuner the guitar slightly higher then standard he's actually playing in 444hz which is just a little higher if you try to play with the song it will sound off unless you play it tuned higher
@@Spells1 no clearly not, during the bridges after the first two choruses you can clearly hear some acoustic chords. it's very famously know that this song's soft parts mixes acoustic steel string and electric guitar. 0:55 1:11 2:00
You should also do One isolated bass! Edit: you actually did it WTF?! I was ironic, but now I want to see if it's 7 minutes of nothing or you've found the bass.
That guitar bridge after every chorus is a thing of absolute beauty
nobody talks about it enough, like its so beautiful
It’s my favorite part of the song tbh. Those acoustic guitar harmonies are great

rare moment where metallica goes to a major key
3:34 so good
Ahh the 150 watt Mark IIC++ Coliseum head. Unbelievable tone . He slaved other things into that amp from Puppets to the Black Album it just crushes.

Oh my, so sorry lol. Your exactly right
It's a mesa boogie iic+ or iic++ slaved into the mighty mesa boogie strategy 400. All of their iic heads were 60w simulclass
@@crummy. Simul-class C+/++ and all of smul-class Mark IIIs (with the exception of Green Stripe) are 75 watt in class A/B and 15 watt in class A mode.
A peaceful song. Teach the right of war. :) For us the plebs. Nice Riffs, Jam over everytime can. 80,s Blues folk. :) :(

Bruh it been around for a very long time lol
i as wondering at 1:11 if its acoustic? cuz when i play on my electric it sounds nothing like that
Yep it's acoustic.
Ur tuned a half too high...or too low
there is a mix of 2 electric parts and a multi tracked acoustic, on the songster tabs you can learn all of them
