    Zdravo Ben, sam iz Ukrajine. Ucim jezik kad gledam tvoje videa i slusam pjesme Balasevica. Hvala puno za content, nisto zanimljivije o Balkanu nisam nasao na internetu. Hteo bih da posetim svi ove drzave, nakon se ovaj strasni rat zavrsi. Ti savladal teski slovenski jezik, govoris brzo i sve razumes. Prvo sam mislio da ti si Sloven 😀 Moje postovanie. Take care and see you in the next story!

    Regarding cases in common Yugoslav language - the eggs was not really the best example since it doesn't change. The case for "eggs" in the sentance "Prodajem domaca jaja" is ackusative. But for word "jaje" (singular) and "jaja" (plural) - it doesn't change - it's same both as nominativ (subject) or in this case ackusative object.

    Your title is too alarming and does not correspond to the facts. It is a sparsely populated area. Houses and cottages and estates are scattered over the entire area, and the center is generally deserted because there has been no investment for many years.As a border area with Bosnia and Croatia, it suffers from the position of a deadlock due to wars and the departure of people to the cities. Since the distances are small, people return as weekenders and there are activities, but in general the center is not as vibrant as it used to be.

    • @BenTheRules
      @BenTheRules  6 місяців тому +2

      Yes, the title is hyperbolic, of course there are still people there. The reason I wrote that title isn’t because the town felt “empty” but because roughly half of the buildings that I saw were destroyed or damaged in some way (from the earthquake apparently).

      The state invested poorly and the area is very suitable for living, but the population even from Tito's Yugoslavia went to the city because it was a more comfortable life.
      Everyone got apartments, jobs in the cities and then pensions , and then the rural part of Montenegro moved out a lot, etc.

    Wondering if that was a real E55 AMG in front of Eggman's crib. Probably not but on rare occasion people came back from Germany, France, etc with some pretty cool cars.
