In Čapljina, the Austro-Hungarian Empire constructed several significant structures during its administration of the region in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Notably, the Austrians built the Čapljina railway station, which was part of the broader development of railway infrastructure in the region. Additionally, various administrative and residential buildings from this period reflect the architectural style and influence of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. These structures have played an essential role in the town's historical development and heritage.
