Yep, great video. All of your videos are focused on the information and not on your personality (you do have on and it shines through), but watching your videos forces me to concentrate on your procedure - thanks loads. I'm buying a Vitamis 750 this week.
Right on! Spring is just around the corner. Sorbets will be the "in thing" and making them in the Vitamix will definitely keep me from buying store bought sorbet with mystery ingredients.
We bought the Refurbished Vitamix (with your free shipping coupon code!), and the Recipe Book that comes with the Vitamix is fabulous! I wasn't expecting anything this substantial. The Health Master (junk!) we bought several years ago came with several small booklets. We have so many healthy recipes we want to try. My health is not so good; the Vitamix was an investment. I'm looking forward to eating healthy smoothies, soups, etc. I'm also looking forward to making a Mango Lassie! :)
Thanks again for your support. Let me know if you have other questions or need blending tips. Try out the peanut butter, you will never buy store bought again, I assure you. For a really great and healthy "Nutella" pour 4 cups of Sunflower seeds into the Vitamix and make sunflower seed butter. Then add 1/2 cup of semisweet chocolate chips to the mix. Blend for 25 more seconds and you will have a delicious chocolatey Nutella-like dip. You can watch me make this in my Sunflower Seed butter video here. Sunflower Seed Butter! Vitamix 7500!
Always use at least 1 whole cup of water per 2 cups of ingredients. If the ingredients are frozen such as frozen fruit use 1 to 1. I cup of water to 1 cup of fruit and about 1/2 cup of ice. Adding more ice worked for you because the Vitamix warmed it up and melted it into water which added more liquid to the drink to help it blend better but that's not an ideal solution because it requires longer blending time to break down the ice until smooth and it may over-blend your drink. Most of your smoothie blends should be no more than 45-55 seconds. Adding enough water or milk will greatly reduce the use of the tamper. You shouldn't need the tamper hardly for making smoothies. In fact most the tamper use will be for thick ingredients such as Hummus dips, Ice Cream or Nut Butters. For the first few times follow the smoothie recipes in the book or from my website until you get the hang of the amount of ingredients ratio to liquid. Also try using milk or almond milk with your fruit smoothies, the consistency is so amazing. Enjoy your weekend and thank you again for your support! It helps me to continue providing more future content.
Thanks to your video review (Ninja vs Vitamix), I just bought a Vitamix 750 blender. I never thought in a million years I would ever buy it!! You owe me $650, sir!! LOL!! ;-)
That's awesome Barbara! You are going to have so much fun with it! It will be well worth the money you spent. Let me know if you need any blending tips. :-)
Made the corn meal, white and yellow, almond milk, peanut butters, tomato soup, just 2 name a few, have the ruby 6300, I am so n love:-) thanks a bunch 4 ur post.
Henry, I totally understand your enthusiasm for the Vitamix 750! It is an amazing machine!! I was hoping to find recipes to use with the Vitamix that would use 100% natural Cacao with other raw ingredients like coconut butter, nut milk, raw sugar cane ....or pure maple syrup grade B... You will like that. :-)) I REALLY enjoy your recipes and instructions! Thanks for making these videos!!
Oh that's what I think I saw on your homepage. I think it was a green smoothie made on a Vitamix 5200. Now that you say that you are getting a 5200 that confirms for me that it wasn't you. Sorry about that. Congrats on your 5200 purchase. I'm happy for you. It's quite exciting to get a new Vitamix. My 750 was my first Vitamix. I'm excited every single morning when I wake up to make a breakfast smoothie to start my day. Let me know how your 5200 works out for you.
Hey thanks for watching Cesar and your kind words!! Please subscribe, I'll be posting more videos and press the Like button if you will? Let me know if you have any questions.
Hi Simkmer! Thanks so much for your kind words. You have given me an awesome idea. My website blog is on it's way soon and I've been thinking of great ideas that could be helpful to my visitors/viewers. I will have recipes of course but I'm thinking of incorporating special recipes just for Vegans. Thanks again so much for your support. I will announce the website blog very soon so please stay tuned.
Hi Henry, I love mango and all kinds of fruits.. Do you know if I have to use frozen fruits or fresh fruits will do? Can you make a video about what is your favorite recipe from the VitaMix book? Btw, you should show your face in all your videos, I love to see your big smile. One more question, do you know the calorie on these fruit smooth? Thanks!
Hey cramaify! That's awesome to hear. You got a great deal. JL Hufford is currently offering that Dry container for $50 with a Vitamix purchase as you already know. Let me know if you have any questions and thank so much for your support. You're right, I do love making these videos.
Hi Henry. i really hope you see this....SOON. in roughly two weeks im going to purchase a vitamix. after watching several of your vids, it has me back at square one with falling in love with a model. i hope you can help me. i need to know will all the models be able to grind up grains, pop corn and sugar like in one of your other vids? im vegan if that helps. i just want to be able to blend flax and chia and flour as well as make my hummus, smoothies and porridges etc. thanks :)
The Vitamix Turbo Blend Two Speed does an amazing job at blending, however it's limited in versatility since it's the only Vitamix without the variable speed. I only recommend Vitamix machines with variable speed.
If you're fine using only frozen fruit then I would highly recommend using only that rather than ice. You won't have any issues with watering down your fruit smoothie and it will be frozen and ready to eat immediately. Try to play with the variable settings still between 8 and 10 but you still should be good with variable 10. The fan runs at it's highest on variable 10 and frozen ingredients heat up the motor a lot. It's best to use variable 10 if you can. Keep me informed?
okay, thanks so much for replying back. id like that info if you have it still. any accessories or utensils on the vitamix site that you recommend? i want to have the best experience possible since im investing a great deal of money.
Ah, thank you. I'm having way too much fun doing the videos. I will keep them coming. I'm always open for suggestions on what to make. When you get yours please let me know, I would love to see videos from you too. Please press the LIKE button if you will? :-)
You can use fresh fruits for sorbets but it will require that you have to use about 4 cups of ice to get good frozen results and you have to be careful not to over-blend as it will melt the ice and water down the sorbet and it's also important to have the correct ratio of ice to fruit. This is why I generally recommend using all frozen fruit. Takes the guess work out of the equation. I've just started showing my face, I'm camera shy, haha.
Henry, it is clear that you enjoy making these how-to videos. They are so well done, and so helpful! And, thank you sooo much for telling us about JLHUFFORD and the 10% off coupon. I just bought the 750 with the extra dry container, all for less than it would have cost me had I got the lesser 7500 from VitaMix directly. So thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm with us. I'll let you know how I'm using it after I have it for awhile. Be well.
Sorbets can be a bit tricky. You can see in my video mine was also a bit slushy. I didn't put enough ice in it because I didn't freeze enough cubes before making the video. You have to play with the ingredients a bit to make sure you have the correct ratio of fruit against ice so the ice freezes it enough without watering down your sorbet. I would say to use Variable speed 8 rather than 10 so the blades won't heat up the sorbet too much preventing the mounds from forming.
You're absolutely correct and I do that. However in this video I didn't use frozen fruit. Therefore I was short on the amount of ice I used. I'm still learning too. It takes time to perfect recipes. :-)
Hi T.C., thanks for watching. Any current model Vitamix will grind grains as well as make drinks. While the included wet blade container will grind grains just fine I generally recommend my viewers to purchase a Vitamix Dry Blade container for exclusively grinding grains, especially oily grains such as Flax Seeds. Check out my video on the Dry Blade Container, it will explain that. If you purchase your Vitamix through me I can provide you a special offer. Let me know and I'll give you that info.
Hi John. Thanks so much for that feedback. That totally made my day. Glad I was able to help you and congrats on that upcoming VM 750 purchase. If you haven't purchased it yet I would recommend buying it on the JLHUFFORD website. You can get 10% off with coupon code "BLENDER10", free shipping and no tax if you live outside of Illinois. That's where I got my 750. If you ever have question please let me know.
Hi John, I have updated the video with the recipe for the Fruit Sorbet. Check the description. Thanks for the request. Let me know how it works out for you. :-)
TC, I was unable to send you a message to your Inbox. You have a block on it. The information I need to send you takes up more space than what UA-cam allows me to post. What you can do also is visit my website "Blending With Henry" and use the email contact at the top and send me a message and I reply to you with that information. Thanks so much.

WOW!! Thank you VitamixGal. Your green smoothie recipe is the one I drink on a daily basis.
Yay for vegan recipes! Thanks, Henry!!!

Yeah!!! That sounds delicious!
I can't wait to try the Raspberry Zinger that came in the Vitamix recipe book. ;)

Love it! thanks for making this vid.
Where do you find Frozen cherries? Are they in a bag, or did you do it yourself? Looks yummy.
If you live near a Whole Foods grocery store, you should be able to find them. Premium grocery stores will be your best bet.

Awesome!! Would you be able to do a review on the 2 speed model? As well as the chopping performance

Hello Henry. Does the orange and lime seeds left in not matter?
I wouldn't recommend leaving seeds in. Citrus seeds in general will make your smoothie bitter.

Hi John, I will be happy to. I will reply you again as soon as I place the ingredients in the description box.
Did you ever get your 750? If so let me know how you like and please share with us what you make with it.

What video editing program do you use?
Let me know how you like it when you get. We can share some ideas.

Anytime you put frozen anything into a blender make sure it freezes a full 24 hrs. It makes quite a difference

One day we will both be masters with using our blenders. Glad I purchased it through you
